The person at Uhaul I rented the Van from was very personable and helpful and answered all my questions. Van ran great! However, when I called at 6:45pm in an effort to return the van, Blake was not helpful and almost rude when I asked questions about an after-hours return. It seemed he was in a hurry to get me off the phone so he could leave.

Easy process to rent and return. Friendly staff. I was running late on a return and they were very understanding. I will need to rent again in a day or two and will definitely use this location.

I had to wait several minutes for someone to come into the lobby and see me at the counter. The employee told me I should have yelled to get their attention, but I didn't want to be “that guy” and figured they were busy. Maybe an alert sound when the doors open would be helpful. I also wish cargo straps were available with the rental. I had to buy some.

This place is incredible!!! We tried two different storage locations previously and have been so happy we moved here. We started with a large unit, and gradually reduced to a 10x5. The staff have always been incredible and helpful, the building always spotless and security is fantastic. They are great for truck rentals too, which we have used many times. Hello. I have always been using PENSKE with no complain about my experience with them but a friend said UHaul was better and that my last move in May 2020 which cost me $118 would have cost less so i decided to use UHaul to relocate back. I made a booking for a Ford cargo van on 8/12/2020 suitable for 1 Bedroom/Studio that was indicated on line but the guy at the desk gave me another van which could not move my stuff. He said it was what he had when i got there. i was told on line to pay $3.16 immediately and that my balance at pick up would be $30.95 but my account was debited 3 times for the sum of 3;16 ($9.48). Secondly, the guy at the desk allowed other 3 white customers to use POS but on my turn, he told me there was network failure and then copied the information on my card down and he was aggressive and appeared like someone on drug as well. Before i left, i was initially considering renting a Dolley but changed my mind when he told me the cost not knowing that he had already removed it from my account. He said he had refunded me back when i went back into the office to tell him that i got an alert that he deducted $7.42 from my account. )He never refunded the money back). Thirdly, when i return the van, he said he would have to calculate the mileage and debit my account for the difference he initially told me my balance was about $160 but refused to explain how he arrived at the figure. I eventually left unhappy because he was refused to make me understand what was going on and about an hour after i left i got an alert that he took additional $129.18 from my account which means UHaul took the sum of (3.16 +3.16 + 3.16 + 30.58 + 7.42 + 129.18) $176.66 from my account for the same mileage Penske charged me $118 for. I wish there's a way to include attachments to comments on this platform. Thank you.

Man was very friendly and helpful but I would not use this location again. Brakes on the truck were barely working. Location is difficult to get in and out of because of storage facility and lack of parking lot.

I far prefer a one level building. Instead of providing a 10'x20' and a 10'x10' unit as requested, the location provided us 3 10'x10' units on 2 different floors. Using the elevator probably added an hour or more to our total time unloading the truck and trailer.

This is a great U-Haul location with great employees. I have rented U-Haul trucks many times over the years. After doing the extra walk around my truck, seeing all looked good, I drove off, as usual. Unfortunately after getting to my home, I found that the rear door would only go up about 12 inches. I did not want to force anything for fear of damaging the truck, so I returnEd to the rental location. The helpful employee showed me that I simply had to “force“ the door up, and it would open. I have never experienced anything like that with my previous U-Haul rentals. While this was not a major problem after all, it did delay my busy moving day a bit. The employees were great, but I think that door should be repaired before the truck is rented again.

The staff was OK. The truck was 14 years old and had 135,000 miles on it. While it was clean, it is time to retire that beast.

Tying to overcharge me for a dolly that was returned with truck at different location on 7/17/2020. When someone reserves something over a week in advance you shouldn't have to run around to different locations to get all the items you reserved and you certainly shouldn't have to run back around trying to return them this was your screw up not mine

I called the morning of my move, waited 15 minutes on hold, and then asked for assistance checking in because I couldn't check in online. Blake told me he would help me when I got there. He was rude. When I got there he was obviously having a bad morning. After waiting in line for another 10 minutes as he struggled to keep it together with the man he was helping, he helped me. It went fine, only to find out when I got to me destination that I didn't have the blankets I requested. When i returned the truck it turns out my truck had already been checked in, my card charged, and none of it was right. He gave me the wrong truck. Just horrible from the get go. Will definitely use the U-Haul I usually do next time.

This uhaul was stolen, the office manager was made aware of this. He even spoke with the Greer city police department so I could get the key from the young that stold this. I find so unfair that I was charged 200+ dollars for a uhaul that was driven too be stolen from my residence. The man that had taken this still remains in jail. My money should be returned too my card. I'm filing a complaint

After paying $10 for CDW, I was extremely angry to see a sticker in the truck saying the CDW doesn't cover the most common form of damage to rental trucks. That's a damned fraud and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for selling fake insurance that doesn't cover most collision damage.

I'm not sure if it was my luck or what but the day I went to get the van, I waited for an hour. I had a card. I was asked if I could get cash. I said sure left and got cash. Came back with 120. He said he was gonna try something. He was having computer issues. He tried over and over. Again it took an hour. He called a number and charged my debt card via the phone. 109. I then leave. I had reserved the van for 6 hours to be picked up at 11. When I didn't leave until 12 it set my timetable back. When I found out that I wasn't gonna have the van back before close I had my grandma call. Was told it wasn't gonna be an issue. They called me back and said we didn't have a card on file and so we needed a credit card number. They charged me for this too. 98. I went 79 miles when I said 100. I paid over 200 for this. I hope it's gonna come off but I haven't heard anything. I used this same store a few weeks ago, right before it started pouring and had to bring it back early. I'd hate to have to find a new U-Haul place

I forgot to do online check in while returning the equipment. I did not realize that it was compulsory and that there will be fine involved. I was charged 25$, which is half the price of my entire rental, which I feel is little high. Apart from that, the van was in very good condition and clean. Check out was easy.
