Within two months of renting a U-Haul twice, booking in advance doesn't work. Apparently you can get scheduled by centralized service, come to the location and they don't have what you need because the manager has not trained employees how to update storage units and U-Haul trucks for customers. Too bad they have them available but as a customer I can't get in until it's submitted in the system. The driver's mirror was dropping all the time and I won't be able to adjust both mirrors to the right and safety position that I could see the cars better next to me. Both cabin doors were noised. Show up on time and open the doors. I got there early, 10 minutes after you were supposedly open no one was there, doors locked. Tried the door after another 15 minutes just out of frustration and found it open. The employee had snuck in from the rear to unlock it, didn't turn any lights on, then hid in the back of the office. Accounting department needs to be improved. Receiving invoices with a due date within 5-day is not practical. This caused many issues with our account to where we received numerous lien notices over the years that were unnecessary. fix your app and website. i used printed instructions to set up account (so i could drop off after hours) and encountered all kinds of errors. i double checked my work. issue is in your end. these issues resulted in me having to call customer service to check out. i still was charged for an extra day, which i had to call again to get a refund for. overall, poor customer experience....all because your IT team failed. fix itDAVID K.
The truck was not full when I received it. I made not after right after I left that the tank was at 7/8 full and I took a picture of it. I went 20 miles, and put in nearly $12 in gas. The gentleman who checked me in graciously knocked off $10 of my charge after seeing my gas receipt and the # of miles I drove. I was appreciative and left a very satisfied customer.DOUGLAS S.

Yesterday morning I went online to rent the truck for pick up a few hours later. Lots of trucks available! I ordered a furniture dolly, and after he completed the check out he told us they did not have one. The charge remained on our bill. We drove the truck 1 mile down the road and my brother told me we didn't need it. We called 10 minutes after we drove it off the property and said we would be returning the truck (we are emptying out my mom's home - she just died) and they said there would be no return of money. They couldn't process it in the computer. I received the final bill and the $7 charge for the furniture dolly is still on there. Here is why you should not rent from these people: 1. Incompetent. Charging us for equipment they didn't have and STILL haven't removed the charge. 2. Greedy: When someone is in our situation there has to be a way to give some kind of credit. We are small business owners and we do NOT treat our customers this way because big picture we want them to come back. They cannot argue that they kept the rental income because they lost the ability to rent it to someone else. There were plenty of trucks on the lot. Take your U-Haul business to the location at 614 Keith Drive. These folks operate their business with the customer in mind and go the extra mile every time we use them. This location on the other hand is run haphazardly and with no concern for the customer.DAVID K.

Storage paid for January on the 16, i moved out on the 23rd and requested a pro rated refund which i was refused. I was robbed of almost a whole month of money during the pandemic. this is not right or fair. I have been doing business here for years, but this will be the last. I have rented from this location before and they were fine. This time Uhaul messed up and we were chnaged to this location from one without mobile check in which I booked. This was a total pain and a waste of precious time. The truck we rented here was not operating well and jerked on occasion and the brakes had trouble stopping the truck. Also I drove like 25 miles but was charged for 5 gallons plus of gas. Come on!!! That is crazy. This truck only gets 5 miles per gallon is what u r saying. Not a great experience.Kimberley K.

I told them I would be there between 5-7pm to get the truck the guy assured me it would be there and ready. When I arrived the truck was not there. I was not offered another truck and was told that I would have to wait or go to another location. I have rented 4 trucks from uhaul in the past year and never had a issue until this time. The manager or general manager at this location was rude and basically told me I could go elsewhere. This was not a good reflection for this company as I am a store manager for a corporate store.JASON T.

The employee told me I should have yelled to get their attention, but I didn't want to be â€œthat guyâ€ and figured they were busy. Maybe an alert sound when the doors open would be helpful. This place is incredible!!! We tried two different storage locations previously and have been so happy we moved here. We started with a large unit, and gradually reduced to a 10x5. The staff have always been incredible and helpful, the building always spotless and security is fantastic. They are great for truck rentals too, which we have used many times. Hello. I have always been using PENSKE with no complain about my experience with them but a friend said UHaul was better and that my last move in May 2020 which cost me $118 would have cost less so i decided to use UHaul to relocate back. I made a booking for a Ford cargo van on 8/12/2020 suitable for 1 Bedroom/Studio that was indicated on line but the guy at the desk gave me another van which could not move my stuff. He said it was what he had when i got there. i was told on line to pay $3.16 immediately and that my balance at pick up would be $30.95 but my account was debited 3 times for the sum of 3;16 ($9.48). Secondly, the guy at the desk allowed other 3 white customers to use POS but on my turn, he told me there was network failure and then copied the information on my card down and he was aggressive and appeared like someone on drug as well. Before i left, i was initially considering renting a Dolley but changed my mind when he told me the cost not knowing that he had already removed it from my account. He said he had refunded me back when i went back into the office to tell him that i got an alert that he deducted $7.42 from my account. )He never refunded the money back). Thirdly, when i return the van, he said he would have to calculate the mileage and debit my account for the difference he initially told me my balance was about $160 but refused to explain how he arrived at the figure. I eventually left unhappy because he was refused to make me understand what was going on and about an hour after i left i got an alert that he took additional $129.18 from my account which means UHaul took the sum of (3.16 +3.16 + 3.16 + 30.58 + 7.42 + 129.18) $176.66 from my account for the same mileage Penske charged me $118 for. I wish there's a way to include attachments to comments on this platform. Gracias.Richard F.
