1. While picking up my reservation, it took 3 conversations with the front desk just to get the right truck (Reservation was for Truck# with 36,000 miles, they initially brought Truck# with 93,000 miles). The person working was rude and dismissive, telling me to â€œtake pictures for documentationâ€ when the website wouldn't allow me to change the mileage from 36k to 93k. Again, this took 3 conversations before the person working realized they brought up the wrong truck and swapped it for the correct truck. 2. Within the first mile of the actual trip, the check engine light came on and stayed on for the duration of the drive from Texas to Illinois. 3. Within the first 3 hours/175 miles of the drive, I experienced a right rear blowout traveling on a 75mph interstate. 3 hours and 2 new tires later we were back on the road. 4. Not long after the blowout, an exhaust coupling worked itself loose & fell apart at the header/catalytic converter. Ever driven a straight header U-haul truck? IT'S VERY LOUD. Roadside assistance told me I could stop and wait another 60-90 minutes for help in Little Rock, ARâ€¦ or keep driving it as is. I made it through one tank of gas before digging my own tools out of the truck and fixing the exhaust myself. I have used this company for cross-country moves dating back to 2012 without issue, but after this most recent adventure (October 2021) you could not pay me to drive or tow anything with the U-Haul name on it. In summary, if you also neglect routine maintenance, hate safety inspections, or have a general disregard for the safety of yourself and those around you: rent from this U-Haul location. 0/5 stars.Devin F.

Encourage allll of the front desk/customer service agents to be more helpful. My rating is based on my most recent visit. I rent a truck at least 1-2 times a month. Recently I rented a truck and purchased a storage lock on 9-18 while driving the truck, I received a call that my grandson had passed away. I became distracted and dropped the lock behind the seat and failed to retrieve. I asked the female rep on today if she could look in the truck, the customer service agent next to her advised that she should replace the lock. Have used Uhaul over the years several times for local and long distance moves. Had the usual problems with the car hitch, so would suggest better maintenance instead of sending out. At Texas location was advised that THEY made a mistake, and gave me a storage that belonged to someone else. Told me they didn't have any more available units and acted as if that was final. I drove from Maryland, with the 26' truck, and car hitch to add and you telling me I have no place to store my belongings. Unacceptable and only after me advising what needed to happen was I accommodated. Sensitivity training needs to be given for one, and critical thinking skills need to be taught for two. I will be relocating again in a year, but probably won't use Uhaul in the future.SHERRI D. | First Impressions

The staff here at this U-Haul location on East Loop Souh 820 and I-30 in Fort Worth, Tx. Is the best location!!!, the manager Mr. David Willey, he is a great leader for his team, excellent customer service skills and fast and friendly service each and every time I come inside the facility it's such a level of respect and it's very clean and organized, especially with the covid-19 6 feet apart restrictions.
