Reserved a 26' truck 3 weeks in advance. My truck was not available with no warning. There were no 26 or 20 foot trucks available. I was offered to drive 20 miles to pick up a different truck. Instead had to take a 17' truck that quadrupled my job. No apologies. No help. Nothing. Awful experienceThomas P.

The truck needs an alignment, it was very hard to drive. It also needs new tires, at least in the front. I was driving in the rain and it slipped around quite a bit. The people at that store are very nice and helpful.MELISSA A.

Accuse me of not returning a truck threatening to call police and report stolen call back an apologize then ask when I drop the truck off so I don't get charged on my receipt it says I returned it tues when I returned it Sunday the same day I got it today is Wednesday when they start calling me threatening me when the truck was there the whole timeLakisha G.
Uhaul was terrible to work with even though I had reservations way out in advance I was still forced to drive 45 minutes both ways to get the Uhaul. I had to drive it through downtown. It took me 3 hours to get a Uhaul when there are 3 Uhaul places in my town and the price went up. The first quote said $1330.00 when I reserved. The second was $1370. And finally at pick up I paid $1415. Uhaul has terrible costumer service I won't book with them again.Benjamin M.

The 26ft truck I received was in horrible running shape. Didn't realize how bad until I was already on my way. Told the agent the problems with the truck, Didn't seem to concerned. 170,000 plus miles..front end shook so bad my seat belt was always locked. The alignment was off so bad to the right, couldn't use turn signals and after unloading, a few of my boxes in the attic area were wet.Donald E.

The truck had a tire monitoring system warning light that came on and off. It seemed to threaten our use. When I presented to the associate, she said it was known and needed to be addressed. Disclosing it or providing an alternate truck would have saved some anxiety.Tony B.

When there is a delay in picking up rental do to computer systems shutting down the rental should at least be automatically updated to the exact time one completes final checkout in mobile access..reservation 645 by time I could get access to key and leave 830 and almost two hours delay which should had been and extra hour extended do to not being able to start moving until next day and having to pay for one more day which on another note I locked keys in van and it took almost 3hours from time roadside assistance was contacted by me for someone to show up which in turn caused me to not be able to finish the project I needed this extra day for,my problem yes locking key in van but had I been given at least and extra four hours from original drop-off time do to system malfunctions I could have finished moving everything Wendsday night instead of paying for extra day and slooooooooow response to getting help. Worst experience ever for roadside service but system malfunctions are more understandable not the tell me for 2 hours someone's coming then find out from towtruck guy you all just contacted him 30minutes before he showed that was bullcrap I could have gotten a towtruck driver there in 30 minutes but had to waste money on waiting 2hours of being lied to.aniut someone coming? The mobile check in is horrendously slow. Was shocked at a company like Uhaul it was that bad. Secondly, I put in approximately 40 miles to be driven on my rental, to be safe. I only used 20 exactly. When I got back the guy was trying to tell me I went over my mileage and overcharge. I told him that's impossible and that I only went 20 and marked 40. He didn't even respond and say he was wrong and just gave me my total. Inferring to me he was just trying to overcharge me just because he could. I will not be using this location again or even uhaul for that matter.Dillon Z.

I don't really understand the purpose of pre-registration process (entering drivers license information, taking pictures of ID, etc.) when you have to wait upwards of 20 minutes at the store â€œAwaiting Approvalâ€. Went from a quick rental pickup to a 20-30 minute waiting game when it should have been much more streamlined.Cameron M.

The store had no storage units available (all units had physical locks on them), despite the computer system saying that they did. I was trying to get a storage unit to move into that day and there were a couple other options that were open on Sunday. I'm on a really tight schedule and lost a critical day due to this error. Staff in store was unable to contact their GM to resolve the situation at the time and stated that GM had limited availability the next day to get a resolution. Thus far I've spent over 30 minutes of my work day on Monday on hold in the hopes of getting this resolved. Seems unlikely, hoping for a refund at this point.ROBERT D. | First Impressions

I moved out of town approx. 100 mile trip. U Haul helped me to accomplish everything and they were so friendly and explained all the details to me. I purchased from U Haul all my moving supplies needed to pack up my home. They had so much to choose from I did not have to go anywhere else to get one single item. I rented a Truck for a one-way trip that process went much smoother than I thought it would. I was also able to get a dolly and packing cloths to cushion my furniture and glass table tops for a very small fee. Then finally I rented a storage unit in the new city I moved to; it was large enough to hold all my furniture, household items, clothes & boxes. And the 1st month was free of charge!! By now I am exhausted from the move and I originally was supposed to drop off the truck at a different location closer to my new home. However, they allowed me to return it at the U Haul storage location. U Haul made this overwhelming move to a new city smooth, calm and friendly. Mind you I just buried my Mom a few days prior. I received excellent customer service from 3 different locations. With my Mom's death my emotions were on edge not to mention all the work to move to a new city. U Haul is to be commended on how much they helped a single women and I admit I was a emotional mess the entire time.
