The store had no storage units available (all units had physical locks on them), despite the computer system saying that they did. I was trying to get a storage unit to move into that day and there were a couple other options that were open on Sunday. I'm on a really tight schedule and lost a critical day due to this error. Staff in store was unable to contact their GM to resolve the situation at the time and stated that GM had limited availability the next day to get a resolution. Thus far I've spent over 30 minutes of my work day on Monday on hold in the hopes of getting this resolved. Seems unlikely, hoping for a refund at this point.ROBERT D. | First Impressions

The person collecting the keys at the end was very rude. He told me I was lazy after I didn't move the truck into the correct place. He was overall just aggressive. In addition I was charged no disclosed fees after the aggressive encounter I had with him. I'd recommend going to a different location if you need a uhaulSETH D.

The people and this location were fine. Our bigger issue was with the truck size that we received (out of the location's control). We had reserved a 10' truck (and we had wanted a van but those weren't even available.) When we went for pickup, all they had for us was an "upgrade" of a 20' truck - we got no heads up or options from Uhaul ahead of time. This was bigger than we needed and frankly bigger than we were comfortable driving. We reserved a truck of a certain size for a reason. For Uhaul as a company to not be able to honor those reservations and not give any advance notice for us to figure out other plans was extremely disappointing, as customers who have used Uhauls 3 times this year alone.Wesley R.

I arrived at 6:45pm to a closed facility that states their hours (two places at the site and online) as closing at 7pm. I was quite annoyed and better not be charged for doing the online checkout since I arrived during business hours.Julie C.

I've used U-Haul about 6 times over the last year via a corporate account and on my own. Not one time did I not have to have my license uploaded 3-4 times at each visit even when pre-checking in. It is literally the worst system I've experienced anywhere. I've never been out of any location in less than a half an hour. Checking the vehicle in after hours when using a corporate account is nearly impossible and always ends with our having to call and get it resolved that way even though the signs everywhere all over the lot are promoting the easy to use internet site. After loading and unloading trailers and trucks by myself, the last thing in the world that I want is a hassle on returning the truck or trailer, yet every time I'm there for 40 minutes in the parking lot trying to figure it all out so I don't get billed for more, because of some accidental missed step in the process. Check in and Check Out should be easier and nobody should be excited to have someone in an iPod device making 6 picture copies of the front and back of their license. It feel sketchy and like I'm just asking for fraud later. Most people are very private with their license info and while I understand why you need it to rent, it's ctazy.Chris R.

Only issue was that the front right tire was quite low. I noticed this after pickup before i left to drive to GA. It had a reading of 25 and required 80. I added air and it maintained during the trip.GREGORY B.
Called and changed my pickup appointment from Saturday morning to Friday evening and was given a time of 7:45. Arrived at 7:45 and the door was already locked with the lights off. Called the customer service line and waited on hold for an available representative for almost 15 minutes before hanging up. At 8:00 pm (listed closing time) an employee came to the door and stated that corporate does not allow any OT so they have to close and start shutting down by 7:45 to be out of there on time. The employee said they were not sure why an appointment would have been set for that late then made the comment that "most people show up at least 15 minutes early anyhow so I should have been there sooner." Went in Saturday morning because I still needed the trailer and the employee who ended up processing my rental stated that the system did not reflect who made the change or have some of the information I entered and updated online. They gentlemen who help me check in and check out was awesome even though he was having a bad day because of rude customers he was still professional and courteous. I am however upset I was charge $10 extra for being 15 mins past my return time. I called and informed the location I was running late due to a cargo strap breaking. I was also held up past 20-30 minutes past my pick up time of 6pm due to errors in the computer system and the guaranteed reservation that I was promised wasn't what I got. I reserved a motorcycle trailer and received a 5x9 trailer. The oversized trailer was the cause of my straps breaking. A motorcycle trailer doesn't allow movement of the motorcycle however a 5x9 trailer allows the motorcycle to move back and forth.Jerad W.

When using the app, it should specify if there's a depo6 and how much the deposit is prior to reserving. My experience was a bit of a financial inconvenience which caused a domino effect with things that needed to b done after getting rental. I was told by drop off location there it shouldn't have been a deposit unless I was paying with prepaid card. I paid with cash & was also told that it would take almost 2wks to get deposit and I was STILL charges for the appliance dolly althought it was note on my account and on my paperwork that I would not be charged. So instead of $100 refund (for deposit), it should have been a refund of $112.00. $100 deposit refund & $12 refund for dolly because I have to use gas & waste time to come back to establishment to get dolly that should have been on the truck prior to rentalShawnte T.

You seem to be making your overnight returns experience (from a corporate-level not location specific) more difficult each time I use it. The inclusion of this new bar code scan on top of sharing my location is a bit excessive. Having to allow access to my location and camera is not preferable to my personal ideals on privacy and security. I haven't tried the call in method yet, but I thought I should share my thoughts on what seems to be a bad trajectory away from what used to be a convenient and less intrusive process.Scott S.

I moved out of town approx. 100 mile trip. U Haul helped me to accomplish everything and they were so friendly and explained all the details to me. I purchased from U Haul all my moving supplies needed to pack up my home. They had so much to choose from I did not have to go anywhere else to get one single item. I rented a Truck for a one-way trip that process went much smoother than I thought it would. I was also able to get a dolly and packing cloths to cushion my furniture and glass table tops for a very small fee. Then finally I rented a storage unit in the new city I moved to; it was large enough to hold all my furniture, household items, clothes & boxes. And the 1st month was free of charge!! By now I am exhausted from the move and I originally was supposed to drop off the truck at a different location closer to my new home. However, they allowed me to return it at the U Haul storage location. U Haul made this overwhelming move to a new city smooth, calm and friendly. Mind you I just buried my Mom a few days prior. I received excellent customer service from 3 different locations. With my Mom's death my emotions were on edge not to mention all the work to move to a new city. U Haul is to be commended on how much they helped a single women and I admit I was a emotional mess the entire time.
