They gentlemen who help me check in and check out was awesome even though he was having a bad day because of rude customers he was still professional and courteous. I am however upset I was charge $10 extra for being 15 mins past my return time. I called and informed the location I was running late due to a cargo strap breaking. I was also held up past 20-30 minutes past my pick up time of 6pm due to errors in the computer system and the guaranteed reservation that I was promised wasn't what I got. I reserved a motorcycle trailer and received a 5x9 trailer. The oversized trailer was the cause of my straps breaking. A motorcycle trailer doesn't allow movement of the motorcycle however a 5x9 trailer allows the motorcycle to move back and forth.Jerad W.
Truck had terrible brakes had a coolant smell and the driver side turn signal was not installed properly it was the only 10 foot van this location had so I took it anyways but the staff was very kind and got me in and out quickly and got me checked in quicklyJared L.

When using the app, it should specify if there's a depo6 and how much the deposit is prior to reserving. My experience was a bit of a financial inconvenience which caused a domino effect with things that needed to b done after getting rental. I was told by drop off location there it shouldn't have been a deposit unless I was paying with prepaid card. I paid with cash & was also told that it would take almost 2wks to get deposit and I was STILL charges for the appliance dolly althought it was note on my account and on my paperwork that I would not be charged. So instead of $100 refund (for deposit), it should have been a refund of $112.00. $100 deposit refund & $12 refund for dolly because I have to use gas & waste time to come back to establishment to get dolly that should have been on the truck prior to rentalShawnte T.

You seem to be making your overnight returns experience (from a corporate-level not location specific) more difficult each time I use it. The inclusion of this new bar code scan on top of sharing my location is a bit excessive. Having to allow access to my location and camera is not preferable to my personal ideals on privacy and security. I haven't tried the call in method yet, but I thought I should share my thoughts on what seems to be a bad trajectory away from what used to be a convenient and less intrusive process.Scott S.

Great trailer that I used and worked well! Employee even hooked it up for me and knew what ball mount I needed to have for my truck. However, when I was returning the equipment, it took more time than it should have because there were not enough employees.HAYDEN G.

When I called to try to make a reservation I was on hold for 20 minutes as I walked into the store I was still on hold and both of the representatives that were there were not on the phone and there were no other customers there all the phones have been forwarded I assumed. After I left to go pick up the things that I needed to use the U-Haul for I realized there was no Dolly inside the back of the 15 ft U-Haul after the representative told me that there was my 11 year old son and I had to move a dryer and several other items a chair by ourselves I have asthma and that wasn't really a good experience I tried to call the store to see if I could come pick up a dolly I called three times was on hold for about 20 minutes each time I ended up going back up to the store to inquire about the dolly and again both representatives were sitting there no customers no one on the phone and that's when they both checked and said yes the phones were forwarded not sure how that happened is what they said but I tried a couple different days before that and had the same experience and just hung up so I added mileage to my trip to go back to the U-Haul I picked up all the stuff that I needed to from where I needed to by myself with my son and then I was able to get it to my house I bought a dolly. so it wasn't very customer friendly. When I told the representative that there was no dolly in the truck she just stated that's weird they're normally are.JENNIFER J.

However the Coldwater Road location is absolutely Terrible Customer Service! Every time I go to that location. From the assistant manager to the workers! I hesitate each time I am closer to that location for rental. I rent a lot of equipment, kast time I rented from the Coldwater Road location I was charged an extra $50 dollars for a pickup truck rental that I had for 2 1/2 hours. $105 dollars and was treated very poorly! You need to fix the personal issue! Major issue!!!!BRUCE KEVIN J.
There was some kind of snafu where the truck was listed in the system as not available for allocation, and alo not eligible to be returned/made available for allocation: I write software, and it sounded like a software rather than locational issue. It took a bit of working around to get to where we could actually have it allocated to me, but in the meantime the employee was courteous and gave a rough outline of next steps as she attempted to troubleshoot. She did successfully resolve the issue, after allocating a different vehicle to me and then exchanging it for the correct vehicle. That did the trick for some reason. She was pleasant to work with and I felt I was in good hands at all times, but this issue would make me really nervous to attempt a u-haul rental from any location that did not have an employee on site to assist. What if I had shown up a couple hours later and self checkout had been my only option and I had this error? Would have completely wasted my evening.PATRICK C.

Do not rent often, overall good experience until end of rental. while on-line return was not too bad once I was able to use a cell phone that U-haul would locate. Showing up for return at 18:48 (Google maps)18:49 (Verizon) and being told to return on-line because "we closed the office already" was a little rough to hear after, well, moving. This is the second truck I've rented within a 2 week period. I've rented from 2 different locations, and returned both trucks to the same location in Bluffton, IN. The process to rent the vehicles was different. The location of this rental was more reliant upon a self-serve approach, while the first pick up location and drop off location is all about serving the customer.robin H.

I had an after hours return. I went to your website and did everything I was supposed to do for the return. After entering the mileage it told me there was an error on your end and to try again. I did it three times and it had the same error every time I tried it. I got charged the 20.00 early return fee for not using the app. I don't think that was fair since I attempted to do what I was supposed to doe 3 times and the error was on your end.Richard K.

I moved out of town approx. 100 mile trip. U Haul helped me to accomplish everything and they were so friendly and explained all the details to me. I purchased from U Haul all my moving supplies needed to pack up my home. They had so much to choose from I did not have to go anywhere else to get one single item. I rented a Truck for a one-way trip that process went much smoother than I thought it would. I was also able to get a dolly and packing cloths to cushion my furniture and glass table tops for a very small fee. Then finally I rented a storage unit in the new city I moved to; it was large enough to hold all my furniture, household items, clothes & boxes. And the 1st month was free of charge!! By now I am exhausted from the move and I originally was supposed to drop off the truck at a different location closer to my new home. However, they allowed me to return it at the U Haul storage location. U Haul made this overwhelming move to a new city smooth, calm and friendly. Mind you I just buried my Mom a few days prior. I received excellent customer service from 3 different locations. With my Mom's death my emotions were on edge not to mention all the work to move to a new city. U Haul is to be commended on how much they helped a single women and I admit I was a emotional mess the entire time.
