You can refund a large portion of my move- I will be calling customer service to create an incident report on the following: My UBox was not available when my movers arrived. It was then a day late, resulting in me having to take Monday off to move (I don't have accrued time so had to take the day unpaid). The box was late by 2 days arriving to Denver on top of Uhaul mysteriously replacing my lock with that of a new one (I had a heavy duty lock on there) so the movers had to go back to the facility to have it cut, THEN come back to they could finally move me in, 2 hours late. If this is UHaul's idea of a good move, I can't believe you're still in business. UHaul owes me a discounted move as well as a new lock set.

The personnel at the store were excellent -very helpful. My only complaint is the on-line U-Haul website and the U-haul phone service seemed to lack coordination. The costs seem to vary and I could only put it together at the U-Haul store (the employee was also having difficulty with the U-Haul website!)

The Bryant Street rental location is the best. They make sure that you have everything you need and that you are happy. I have been going there for years and they make it so easy.

The negative experience was with the pick-up process. The person who checked me in was rude. The first truck that I got assigned to had no gas. When I brought this to the attention of the counter person, she advised me to mark the gas level as empty. When I asked for a new truck, she seemed annoyed. She literally threw the new key towards me on the counter. When I had asked her what Row it was in, she rudely told me (like I was supposed to guess). She was incorrect, as the truck was in a different Row. I made a comment that she was rude and she got defensive and snapped back at me. This 2nd truck also didn't have the level of gas indicated. When I went back into the office, I was ignored. I found this to be very unprofessional and I now question renting from U-Haul again.

I feel that I have been ripped off everytime I have rented with uhaul. This time while I am a senior disabled. Every dollar matters. I was told at the time of rental that it is only $19.95 plus $10.00 insurance, plus the one hundred miles @ .39 cents a mile ($ 39.00 ). A total of $68.95 and then tax. I was told then the $100.00 deposit charged at the time would be recalculated and my account credited. They charge d me a total of $160.00. And when it was returned above the level of gas when I started. He did not close it out right away and show me any other charges. But today I noticed instead of my $91.05 credit back on my card . There is an additional charge of $3.89 fir who knows what. Thus us upsetting, and I feel should be investigated by FTC, also better business bureau. There was nothing wrong with vehicle or service. I just feel decieved, lied too and injured by this. Once before about 10 years ago. I had them steal $409.00 over charging me on a rental on Bryant St, SF.

The UHAUL pod that is described for 1-2 bedrooms is more like a studio apartment. We could NOT fit all of our boxes in the pod - had 7 large boxes left behind that we had to last-minute figure out how to ship- and only had a small 1 bedroom apartment. It's incredibly misleading that this pod could fit as much in there as described. PLEASE update your listing!!!

I was given a truck with less than half a tank of gas and was later charged for not filling up the tank to over 3/4 full. I have attempted to contest my bill by emailing the location but have yet to get any response. This service was bogus, and I need a refund for the gas charges. I don’t expect to ever use Uhaul again - it feels like a scam.

The origin location (San Francisco) went smoothly for the most part. Re SF location: yard staff were super friendly and helpful. Inside store staff were competent, but not friendly or motivated. Web site for tracking uhaul containers, etc. is confusing. I had multiple order numbers for the same uboxes. Price quote had t0 be chnged because website randomly changed original price. Reaching uhaul via phone takes at least 20 minutes. Once I connect, all experience with cs staff has been good. But uhaul cll center is woefully understaffed.,

The wrong ubox was delivered to my apartment. Then my ubox was never delivered to the local place on time. Then no one at uhaul was able to give me updates about my ubox. I was transferred over 10 times in an hour and still was unable to reach someone.
