My truck unfirtunately was not thoroughly cleaned and had belongings of others behind the seat (Gatorade, Pepsi bottles, etc.). My pre-ordered 20 foot truck by a week in advance was not available and I was forced to take a 26 foot truck as it was the only available one-way truck. The truck did not drive well, too large and created an EXTREMELY higher gas expense by over 300 extra dollars. This was not credited back to me and it certainly should have been as my reserved truck was not available. The worst part is I was told this truck was safe and had gone through the highest maintenance check recently yet not even an hour into the drive, the tire blew out and had to wait 2 hours for roadside assistance which delayed my trip considerably. I would like corporate to call me as I would like a full refund given the multiple problems involved in my case.TANYA M.

The reservation process through the website was easy and straight forward. The location is in a very convenient spot with easy access. The staff were helpful in explaining the process and I would definitely use this location again should the need arise.Robert L.

My reservation was not ready when I arrived. I was misquoted and overcharged. I was quoted $14.95 per day by Uhaul customer service when I booked the unit and was charged $18.95 per day plus tax. Waited for nearly an hour to pick up when I arrived because they couldn't find my reservation. Waited again for over 30 minutes dropping off because the guy at the drop off place was on a personal phone call. I had to drive past 4 Uhaul locations near me to pick up the 5x8 enclosed trailer that was 50 min one way from my house. Totaling 4 rounds trips. When there were available units just 5 minutes from my home. The Uhaul agent lied to me and told me they didn't offer the 5x8 trailers there. I specifically told her that I had seen them multiple times. After speaking with another customer service agent with Uhaul she confirmed that there were several trailers available at the closer location that I could have rented that would have saved me 4 hrs of drive time picking up and dropping off. Also they screwed up my drop off dates!! And I was charged for two days that I didn't get to keep the trailer. It was a 10 day rental. I will continue to contact the corporate office until I am reimbursed or credited for these bogus charges. If that doesn't work I will dispute the charges with my Credit Card company. I have been using Uhaul for 20 plus years and after this experience, I don't believe I will be using this company again. I'm very disappointed all the way around in how everything was handled all the way around. Lastly the trailer they tried to give me to begin with was in awful condition. I refused to take that trailer, so they gave me another one. I had to hook up to the trailer by myself with the assistance of my grandfather. The drop off location was not a place I felt comfortable dropping off ! I called because I had a bad feeling about the place then they charged me a extra fee when I brought the truck back early and did everything that I was supposed to I already lost out on a lot of money throwing away items because they didn't have the first rental that was promised 26â€ then they charge me extra for what I will never use uhual ever again.Tierra A.
The initial encounter with a customer service member (and I use the term "customer service" very loosely) resulted in being ignored for over five minutes while he worked on his computer terminal as I stood there and watched. Apparently "I'll be with you in a moment" translated to "I cannot be bothered by you, so you must wait for another U-Haul employee to serve you." When his colleague eventually appeared behind the counter, I was then able to begin my equipment pickup.Daniel D.

I had the pleasure of receiving assistance from the Manager Kiersten. She went above and beyond to help me today! I had just recently installed my new trailer hitch attachment for my wife's Honda CRV. I had not installed the breaking light system yet, but that did not stop Kiersten from providing U-Haul service/business. She completely installed my breaking light system while simultaneously training/working with her team to assist other customers with orders/issues. I am so appreciate of U-Haul's help today! Was billed for a damage charge of $636. No one informed me of an issue. The receipt was not emailed to me like my other receipts. I found out when I saw the charge on my credit card. I have opened a dispute with uhaul. I was supposed to hear back about the dispute within 3 business days. It's now been 6 business days with no update.MICHAEL F.
I had the 9X5 with ramp and so any one has a question, we used it to haul a Yamaha Golf Car with a rear seat. We had about 1" in the front and 1" in the rear to spare. Fit perfectly.Steven H.

Make the app where it stores your credentials to get access back into your login. Every time, I responded to a text, I had to log in. That's unnecessary. You sent a text to the phone I have on file and I responded with the access code. Now anytime something changes, I shouldn't have to keep logging in. Also, when a reservation is made, there should be NO FEAR or concern that a person will have to change their arrangements. I made mine a week prior and for some reason, got sent to another store 11 miles (total) out of my way, the day before, in the opposite direction. I then arrived the day of reservation and was told I possibly wouldn't have the truck at the new location. My charge per mile was adjusted to a lower rate, but am really unsure why there were 5x 26 footers sitting there and only 1 available (by a hard push to get 1).Ryan G.

They charged me for over mileage but only had over mileage because they gave me a drop off location that would not take my truck and trailer so we had to drive around two cities trying to find one that would and when we couldn't find one because there's only one location that takes the transport trailers which is the original one we went to we had to make them take it! Then I got charged $100 for missing/damaged which no one had the decency to call me and tell me what was missing or damaged because nothing was but still charged me. I also returned a day earlier we had three days with the truck and trailer and have not been refunded for the third day of not using the trailer and on top of that was supposed to get a dolly to begin with which we did not receive so I called and informed them immediately that we didn't get it and the customer service representative noted this and they did not refund me for that either! I have contacted the location we dropped off at which is 15334 Cortez blvd in brooksville fl and the lady told me she would get back with me but has not!Olivia P.

The 24/7 website did not allow Mobile drop off as it kept stating that I wasn't sharing my location to determine if I was at the correct location. Despite us trying repeatedly over 15 mins, knowing that our location was enabled on out iPhone, we simply dropped the keys and were forced to pay the $20 plus tax Convenience Fee which was not appropriate. There was no number or contact info for after hours assistance.William E.

Staff was not knowledgeable concerning the insurance requirements (type, coverage). After providing proof of insurance via a 3rd party, the staff was unhelpful In resolving an internal I haul system conflict requirement that required information not pertinent to the insuring organizations. Instead of resolving the problem through a creatively solution, the staff pushes responsibility back on the customer to remedy an issue that affects uhual. I find issue that requirements such as the insurance and specific lock requirements to be highly irregular for uhual rentals I've under gone in the past. This information is not disclosed during reservations and seems to serve as a snare trap for customers already under going a stressful activity with relocating.Seth M. | First Impressions
There was only employee working on a busy Saturday morning. The employee maintained his customer service with an exceptional attitude. However, the waiting in line period was too long. I was there at 820am for a reserve pickup 830am but I was not seen until 900am. There were 7 customers waiting behind me and 3 in front with 1 employee on the site. That's unsatisfactory.
