Hire more competent employees. There was only one person working the store when I picked up and dropped off the vehicle. My vehicle was dropped off and given to me without being sanitized. Received vehicle with less than a quarter tank of gas. No one from the uhaul store or headquarters where on the same page when they quoted me my deposit or vehicle pickup.

Stop advertising 19.99$ on your truck. This is fraud and false marketing. It is very deceiving because no one ever pay close to 20$... I thought I was paying no more than $50 with mileage considering I am only driving 30 mins round trip. My total is over $240. This is ridiculous price. Please provide fair pricing a for local people and remove the 19.99$ logo from your trucks. You should be sues for this kind of deceiving business model. Also when I booked my location online, I picked route 46 totowa ni location and someone from your main office called me 15 minutes before my pick up time and confirmed I am still picking up and never told me that there were actually no Uhaul location on the address you provided on your website. We wasted our gas running around using google and iPhone maps and both could not locate the route 46 location I choose online. We wasted our gas and one hour of our time looking for Uhaul location you gave on the website and my confirmation but there was nothing there. This is fraud. When I Checked my text, I noticed, Uhaul sent me another address in Paterson to pick up .. I never authorized this location nor did the representative who confirmed my pick up mentioned Paterson: stop running your business like this. I called customer service and long wait time but no resolution of my concern. I also tried to drop off the car by 12am with my phone but your website could not locate my location and I was unable to make my return through the phone. I am using the most up to date iPhone in the market and checked my settings and my location service and everything is working fine. I should not have to share my personal information like location from my cell phone and give you my personal data. You should check your cameras to confirm location ... please rearrange your business and do better

Tire was flat in trailer - had to drive 10 minutes to another location to get fixed. Took 45 min to fix. Uhaul did give a $15 credit (I did not ask for) which was nice None around at pickup location - had to call Uhaul. Overall it is a trailer rental - the trailer did what I needed it to. Good price. Would do again (despite the few issues above)

The first night I came in to load my stuff in from the truck but the office was close and no one answered the phone number listed. I was frustrated and could not get the truck out of the driveway so I left it. The next morning I got there and the GM aided me along the move in process and explained everything. She came to check on me twice to ensure that everything was going well. She was kind and very helpful.

The experience in dropping off the auto transport was rough. It was a few days after the snow storm but there was black ice every where. I had to park the vehicle on the street first. We had to climb under the auto transport where the floor was icy and wet and was freezing and soak when it was done. We had to unhook the chain. There were a bunch of uhaul returns parked on the left leaving no space to slide or we would hit another vehicle. It was so full in there but I had to leave the transport in order to unload the truck. I called the GM the night I tried to gain entrance into the uhaul storage but no one answered and the mail box was full. I had to leave the truck because I could not get it back out. What I will say during business operation hours Mrs. Paulino was great. She personally aided me along the move in process and explained everything in detail. She was very professional and took the time to come back twice to check on me and ensure I was okay.

If they call to extend time let them know they will need a smart phone to return the equipment after business hours. Also if they need to call customer service after business hours when on hold it should give an estimated amount of time someone will be on hold. I was on hold so long since I had difficulties returning after hours and I was unsure if the customer service was 24/7 when I needed to speak to a rep.

I was very happy with this uhaul !it started when I walked in the door and saw a very clean place,I was happy how the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Then when I received the vehicle it was sanitized and a nice new vehicle thanks U haul U R the best!

You did not have the truck I reserved. The truck you gave me was in poor shape. Brake light kept coming on. Suspension was shot.Girl who helped me went the extra mile to get me a replacement truck.

Great service using app. If I had to go stand in line, there was a line of 5-6 people and only one person on duty to handle them. Using the app, though, I had no problems. The truck was clean, and return was smooth (again, using the app).

Great customer service “AMBER” catered to all our needs along with another gentleman sorry we forgot his name but was a great help as well. First off we want to comment the rest room was clean like no other rest room I've seen before in all honestly the entire store was so clean it just smelled fantastic made the whole process a bit smoother aesthetically because seriously who wants to move out or in its such a hassle, but our truck was given to us clean even though it was a rainy day it was still spotless and smelled great again just made the process better aesthetically. they explained the check in and check out process and the insurance policies to me and I was in and out with my truck ready to start our move no longer than 15 minutes and maybe 6 of those minutes were my questions on the pricing a bit confused at first but amber and the young man explained it and I understood the 2nd time around, ALSO this place even has STORAGE !! EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY SOMETHING SOME BUSSINESSES LACK I DONT KNOW UHAUL POLICY BUT DEFINITELY A RAISE OR A BONUS WOULD BE A GREAT INVESTMENT IN THESE TOO WORKERS BECAUSE MAN THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME !! The employees were nice and the process was very quick. The truck was absolutely horrible. The truck was not clean, passenger wiper was broken off, couldn't use the windshield wiper fluid and salt was all over windshield. The truck should not have been able to be rented.

I wasn't able to find a trashcan and I was told that it would cost me $20 extra to put trash in the dumpster on location.. There was absolutely no trash bin nor no toilet tissue in the bathroom 2 days in a row.. The sensors for the storage area is by the elevator, so you would have to walk atleast 150 feet to the sensors so you can have lights to the storage space.. The timer on the lights to the storage rooms area is like no more than 10min, so you would have to walk that 150 feet to get the lights back on all the time... Thank you for letting me explain...

The gear stick light that shows the letter at night need to be fix and try and supply vehicle with a full tank and have your receptionist acknowlege customers of what type petrol to refill the tank with.

Great service, the 20ft. truck originally requested had to be changed to a 15ft. due to lack of availability the day prior. However, on the pickup day, a 20 ft. truck was available, and Ms. Paulino was very helpful in updating our order and ensuring we had a more suitable equipment. Overall, it was a swift and professional service.

I rented two trucks within 3 days. Today was not a good experience, I was given a truck blocked by another truck and then ask to switch the truck because they couldn't find the keys to the truck blocking the truck I was in...upon return the lady took the keys and said I would get a receipt by email I told her I didnt like suprises so I would wait, I had a friend that wanted to purchase a wardrobe box and wanted to know the difference in the sizes of the boxes and pieces and she wa given the wrong piece to the box and the sales rep had already walked of the floor and didnt want to assist although the truck was more expensive on Saturday than Thursday I do thank Uhaul for helping me make my move . Thursday staff was really profession.

The reservation was for pickup in Little Silver,NJ and actual pickup was in Paterson, NJ, over 70 miles away. Drop off was arranged for Wayne, NJ but I had to return it to Paterson. 25 miles away rather than 5 miles away. The reservation was for 60 blankets, the pickup location had only 17 blankets that were not ready for use and hand to folded after I arrived. Pickup took an hour due to not being ready for me, bay door pad lock was broken, no blankets and I had to pickup 70 miles away from where I had planned just adding more unnecessary milage to my trip. The staff at Paterson was friendly and apologetic, but I'll avoid using U-haul the next time.

This was the worst Uhaul experience and it is Uhaul's fault not the Paterson location. First, I was charged for an additional day by Uhaul even though the Paterson location has confirmed that I returned it early. I was charged for cleaning when I cleaned the vehicle. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I will be sure to follow-up until I get my refund. Additionally, I will be letting everyone who asks know.

I was assisted by Assistant Manager Amber V. She helped me to select the best vehicle for the amount of property that I would be moving and gave me detailed descriptions of the storage units that are available at this site. I will be moving soon and will definitely return to use the on-site storage facility solely based on the quality of service she provided today.

This this location is a joke the manager charged me for stuff and then give me a detailed bill I'll go back to return the truck the workers were outside arguing like they were enemies I had six trucks in front of me I'm sitting outside my truck waiting to return it the girl that accepted my truck runs over there to me with an attitude and tells me you can leave with a smart remark I don't think they don't have proper training and if they do they need better training I don't think I'll be coming back to this location the workers there are not properly taken care of customers they're in a rush and are using foul language and driving the vehicles because they're in a rush fast and dangerously coming in and out of the parking lot the manager never sent me a detailed bill of the charges that I was being billed for and for this reason I think I'm never going to use this location or maybe not U-Haul again

No elevator had to carry everything up two flights of stairs, exhausting. Lighting is terrible. Too long to turn on while walking to unit. Tripped and fell on a 🛒 cart left in the dark in hallway.
