First of all, the truck I reserved from the Old Hickory location was given to someone else. Thankfully the staff at this location was able to locate a truck available at Airways. I lost over 2 hours of time though waiting, and this location was further from my move. Second, the back of the truck was not clean. There was dirt and broken glass we had to clean up. More lost time. Other than that, the truck at least was in good shape and handled well. Third, the mobile return process is terrible. The Uhaul app kept crashing and starting over. The web site kept giving errors when trying to load pictures. It took more than 30 minutes to complete this process and no help was there since the location is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Very frustrating and more lost time. This was by far the worst experience I have had with Uhaul, and we have used their equipment many, many times.

Before arrival I called to ask what trucks were available & was told that there was only a 26” truck but online it stated there were more. Book the 20” truck online. Upon arrival, the guy was was rude. I rented a $7 dolly online but once got to the store the worker stated there were none which had to pay $10 for a bigger one. Once he brought the truck out, there was a dolly there. I stated “Oh here's one right here” he said ok well.., and started rolling the big dolly back inside and I told him to wait because he charge me for the bigger one. First he ignored what I was saying and I had to keep saying wait. He turned around with the appliance dolly came towards me with it. He left it there and walked off and went back in building. I had to load appliance dolly myself. The customer service was awful. & I would like a refund.

Truck was very dusty in storage area. They were not open for 2 days during my return so it looked like Inturned in a day late when we actually turned it in a day early.. I received an email saying I am getting a refund but my bank account was charged an additional $73.24 on top of initial hold of 235.54. Was told have to call customer service because they dont know what I am talking about.

TRUCK WAS DIRTY, AIR DID NOT WORK, WOULD NOT START AT TIMES HAD TO WAIT AWHILE THEN TRY AGAIN. ONE TIME COULD NOT TURN THE KEY OFF, KEPT PUTTING IN DRIVE AND THEN PARK AND FINALLY GOT IT TURNED OFF. WILL NOT USE OR RECOMMEND UHAUL EVER AGAIN.

The truck had the check engine light on, and the "change oil now" indicator was on too. There was only one person working on Saturday, and even though we checked in online it still took more than 40 minutes to get assistance and get the truck. Please maintain your trucks and hire extra people to work weekends during moving season.

I emailed as well as called the location asking about if I would be received a deposit back a week ago. I received no response but now I'm receiving emails of a invoice saying I owe more money. The man was very unfriendly and acted as if he didn't want to be there or i was coming to rent his own personal vehicle to move my belongings. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Get a better customer service rep. The guy who worked this day moved so slow and was so rude. The energy was terrible, he didn't let us know what options he had available. He got upset because we didn't have a reservation and tried to give us equipment that wouldn't work with our moving. He was just overall rude. When asked what we were driving, he just pointes at the car. No words, just pointed. He was rude. As long as he's at this location, I'll be going to another.

When I rented the van I was on a daily rate, I turned the van in early, and they switched me to a weekly rate to get more money from me. They even confirmed I was on a daily rate when I called them to return early. Be careful!!

Ask the gentleman that was working that day to not be so rude. I'm glad I did everything online...I wouldn't have wanted to do the old process with him. And we were 20 seconds from the your location when we realized there was no dolly. Turned around immediately and returned to get one from small fenced area that van was parked next to. Was "fussed" at for doing this and I give him that....but the attitude was already in place. Over all I like the new method. I have always went with Uhaul and everytime it was an easy process. BTW....he may have just been having a bad day...or jealous that the new system may do his job too well. Thank you!

Rude services! Return policy was not explained and cost me $45 extra! After hours drop off sucks, website was not clear and wasn't able to figure it out! This was a partial move and I will look for another rental service !

I called the customer service line to let them know I would not be returning the uhaul until a later time however it was still less than 24 hours and I was charged for 2 days. The customer service rep was rude when I inquired about the charges. Oh and the lock on the uhaul stuck and I couldn't open it.

Customer service was very unprofessional. The two gentlemen were very rude. The gentleman that was assisting me tried everything he could to not hook the trailer up to my truck. Tried telling me the ball hitch was the wrong size when I knew it was a 2in ball, then said the position of where I had the hitch wouldn't work.... etc. They were not very friendly or professional.

The equipment I reserved was not available and a substitution was made without one word said to me. I reserved a car hauler trailer and they gave me the tow dolly instead. When I went back and asked why I was told none were available in Jackson. That was a complete lie as I had driven by another Uhaul dealer and there were 3 of them parked at their lot. I made the reservations a full week in advance and this is how I was served.

my UHaul representative Donna Pinner at the Whiteville UHaul at her Pinner's Farm Garden and Sport was wonderful. She helped me locate and took care of the cargo van I wanted, that she didn't have onsite. However, the gentleman....no he wasn't that.... that rude man at the Airways location in Jackson was extremely unhelpful, rude and racist. He spoke ugly to my sister and I, but when African American customers came in, he was sickeningly sweet and over helpful and apologetic. And he was rude when I returned the van a week later. The van was dirty, I returned it much cleaner than given me. it was a great van though.... I'd rent one again but will use a different location. I expect to be treated well when I spend over a $1,000 or $1. My final bill was way over a grand.

Customer service failed !!! Attendant could have cared less that I rented , was zero appreciative and sorely not in a good mood . That was at pick up! At return I decided to use the electronic return app, so I would not have to encounter “Mr customer service of the year”. I turned the vehicle off but had to turn back on to get mileage pic! Then I took outside and inside pics! Then the pic of where it was parked! Successful returned! Last notification... lock truck and drop key in slot ! I locked the door but was holding the wrong key! Locked key inside Truck! Frustrated at myself for having done this, I go inside and told the attendant ! I should have been speaking Chinese. He had a blank look and said, “man I don't know...what you should do?” Really !!!!!! Then the attendant I dealt with on the pick up entered!!! His response was shrugging his shoulders and went back into the break room mumbling, “I guess you need to call a locksmith!” Nothing .... maybe , “sir, I am sorry to hear that. It happens on occasion. You will need to call a locksmith and here are a few numbers of locksmiths that have made service calls here for the same thing!” Easy, simple , not requiring a rocket scientist Background to provide alittle customer service!

I used after hours return and was charged for another day and told that was clearly in the contract. I have re-read the contract and cannot find SPECIFIC language that says another full day is charged with after hours return.

The floor of the Box truck Looked like someone had smeared mud all over it and it had dried. And the truck itself was in very bad shape. However the movers we hired through you were amazing!

The Jackson TN location has poor customer service. The man working was rude. Tried to over charge me. Would not explain charges. I had to argue and demand he remove charges I knew I was not required to pay. Manager was also very rude. Telling me it was my responsibility as a TN resident to know all rental taxes and was not his job to explain it to me. When I returned the van, was overcharged by 4.5 miles for mileage.

Hire help! Truck was pos. Had to doo PO ST spend half a day trying to get out of park. When got it out of park was scared to put back in park so just used e brake and put in neutral. Called for help and was put on hold for over 10 minutes, so I hung up and fixed myself. When got to uhaul store my complaint was dismissed like I was ignorant. Was charged 4 times at 29.95. Had from approximately 4pm Tuesday til 4pm friday. Only put 47 miles on truck. Had no clue I would be paying for dolly and blankets that I didn't ask for. Very unhappy with service provided and most of all didn't get done with move bc truck wouldn't come outta park.

The man the rented me the U-Haul has a very nasty attitude, very impatient and made me look at the company totally different. He had no kind of customer service what so ever attitude got worse as I start asking questions. The man that accepted the truck back didn't greet me put my change on the counter overall it was poor customer service and I will not be returning or refer anyone to come to this location.
