There was only one employee to help multiple customers, so there was a long wait to get the equipment after I had to travel to a location I didn't plan to travel to. I reserved a 15' truck but was switched to a 10' truck at the last minute, which was far too small for my move and I was forced to make multiple trips, thus racking up additional miles that cost extraAntonio M.

i only go to this location when they have equipment i need since unfortunately i have received poor service from both female front employees. guest service is certainly not a focus for these employees; fyi i received exceptional service from 2 male employees who received return of equipment - both were extremely helpful and very friendly. these 2 employees are definitely the ones that should be front facing as they clearly understand being polite and positive with the guest. thank you for receiving this feedback.JEROME S.

The staff at this location was helpful, friendly and efficient. The car hauler we rented was well priced (about $75 with insurance for 12 hours) and VERY well designed and easy to load and secure, and tracked, turned and stopped very well. I rented a 6 x 12 trailer and two of the tires did not have legal tread one blew late at night out in the country I had to wait by the side of the road for 2.5 hours. Then I rented a car carrier the tires were good but two of the tires one one side were low 30 psi not 65 psi I had to unload my car and fill up the tires before I could tow. The people were good the equipment was shit. I would tell some one to run away fast !!!!GLEN M.

Ridiculous that they won't let their customers use the restroom during the pandemic. This is poor customer service. It doesn't take much for a company to add an additional step in sanitizing for the convenience of their paying customers. Since sanitizing each truck after every rental is standard procedure, this same step can be done for any customer needing to use the restroom. Spraying Lysol on surfaces and letting air dry is not time consuming.Joe M.

Didn't find out until the morning of the pick-up that the location had changed. No phone call to alert just happened to check e-mail. However, service was great and folks running the location in Fairfield were very friendly and professional.Paul C.
I wouldn't ask for the driver's information and a second person's information. Why was that needed? We have used other locations, and this has never been required before. Another issue was when we brought the trailer back, the gentlemen who did the inspection wasn't wearing his mask. It was hanging below his chin and he was standing about two feet from us. In the future, I will go to any other uhaul location, even if it means going way out of my way.CARMINE V.

The person who checked my truck in charged me an additional 10,000 miles in error. My credit card was charged $12,000 when I rented the truck for 8 hours and drove 25 miles total. I have to deal with my bank charges (over limit fees) and no one at UHaul cared. They said I had to â€œtake it up with my backâ€ even though it was their error. I'm pissed! I'll never use them again. AND I'll tell everyone I know what scum they are.Tracey C.

Called and Offered an earlier pickup. No mention of additional charge. Lock on the back is broken. I didn't know until I caught a stranger trying to break in. It does not lock. The van had unmarked big scratches both sides, exterior wasn't washed, interior was nice and clean. The van (26') was high mileage (192K), and the ride - depending on the road surface- was rough at times with big forward/backward roll/shake, looked like suspension/shocks needs servicing. Note: I walked in for a 20' van without reservation, they seemed to be fairly booked, I was happy to they could accommodate me. Service was excellent and courteous, return was super smooth.FERENC L.
