I picked up the truck, it broke down 1.3km from the uhaul store within 5 mins of having it. I was left stuck in a parking lot for 4+ hours till they came to fix the truck. They did not offer to help me at all and when I said I wasn't happy the manager said “ we could have taken of longer” and today I got the bill for $33 for nothing... i am not happy and will not be using you guys again.

Photos for the online check in were a different vehicle and it was snowing in the pics. Prices for the pads were half as much in person vs online Truck had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked up, making it very difficult to predict how much fuel I needed to add at the end and I had to gas up before I even got to the first location... It felt like I was being ripped off as if I under fill I get charged but if I overfill you guys pocket the difference. 1/4 of a tank of gas is barely enough for a in-city move. This pissed me off the most to be honest. Return process went smooth.

Just. Quick walk thru so the renter can understand simple things like turning tow switch off when not loaded and covert safety markers etc provided in the truck. Staff was very busy and I left with the van without any tutorial etc. Love service and very pleasant staff.

Trailer I rented was in disrepair. The pins to hold the gate were broken. The check in process is painful as usual you complete everything online only to have to redo it all in the store. The attendant who helped me was great. The gentlemen who works alongside her always seems very pushy and dismissive. The store manager calls everyone sweetheart which is not appropriate.

The process of picking up the truck was very easy. The only issue I had is that they changed my drop off location to a place that was a half hour away from my final destination, and the location I originally chose was a minute away. Other than that my experience was great.

Figure some sort of incentive or disincentive fir customers to come back in time with the rented equipment. Incentive usually works better. I had to wait 1/2 hour to collect my rental truck because previous customer was late returning. Put me right in the middle of rush hour traffic which I had planned to avoid. Also a better explanation of payment options ie base rate plus mileage vs flat rate, mileage included for the day. I ended up paying more than I needed to. No big deal, but it would have been nice to know

The truck died twice. No one told me not to use the hazard lights, I didn't think it was a taboo to use when trying to park a big moving truck in the way. After waving someone down to help boost it, I needed to leave the truck running to charge the battery. The doors got locked (that's my fault, its a habit when parking in that location), and it took an hour to get a hold of someone to actually help me. When I returned of the vehicle, the manager of the store was very patronizing, and did not believe me that the truck died twice. She made me feel like I was an idiot for using the hazard lights, basically blaming me for the truck dying both times. After the exhausting day of moving, with the added stress and emotions from being stranded TWICE, then being made to feel that it was all my fault, and being paid full price for everything I do not think I will use U-haul services again.

1) purchase vehicles with USB plugs and phone paring capabilities 2) I rented vehicle on Friday and clearly noted it was to be guaranteed until Sat 19:00 hours At 10:50AM Sat rec'd a somewhat aggressive vmail that truck due back and others are waiting for it NO NEED OF THIS (While making my reservation,I heard this older gentleman making these calls to others-I realize you likely have lots that take advantage-BUT-Not your right to assume that ,when calling others Otherwise all was well, young lady on front counter pleasant and efficient,other staff encountered same.

Park trucks so they don't block other trucks. Another truck was trying to leave during inspection, but we had to be thorough. Be consistent with info. We were told we had local truck with furniture pads and dolly. Got to lot and were told it wasn't local. No pads or dolly.

The truck was in terrible mechanical condition. Felt like the front end was falling off. Shook bad and pulled so hard to the right, I could barely keep it on my he road. Staff were driving these vehicles around the yard like they were in a race. The process of calculating the mileage is flawed and cost me more than $1 extra. ( 100,000 customers =$100,000 over charged). .69 per KM converts $1.10, NOT $1.11 as charge. You ALWAYS round down below 5. Not happy with this tactic And will make others aware of this.

Used it for 4 months, and everything was perfect. No mold no must and I got to keep the lock! Move out process was beyond simple. If I ever need storage again Uhaul is the only place I will use.

I was somewhat confused with the "check-out procedure" upon returning the rental after hours. I was directed to www.uhaul.com/share but when I "went" there I had to hunt for direction. The closest that I could find was a page that indicated something about a return but all that I found was a comment box. I filled out a brief descriptive comment and submitted it. But there was nothing that definitively directed me to electronically "return" the rental. Otherwise, the rest of the experience was fine.

There were few charges that i was unaware of like cleaning charges 25$. I was just having a small coffee spill in the trunk and i got charged for $25 that i was unaware of otherwise. I would have clean it myself. Otherwise, I don't have any issue with the truck.

Well, my opinion has changed from my previous post. My goodness what a difference. Staff were wonderful and handled my request quickly and so efficiently, and such a great atmosphere, you couldn't help but giggle along with them. Safety barriers in place and they added more storage units!!!! So very imressed with the difference, I absolutely recommend this store now!

I was disappointed with the fact I had a reservation for about 2 weeks and requested two furniture dolly's, appliance dolly and a regular dolly to not get it for my move. Made it significantly harder and more dangerous for us because of appliances and large furniture that has currently left a few people hurt from strain. For future reservations I would say make a priority check for dolly's and what not, I do not know the circumstance as to why it happened for myself but if there was a reservation in for two weeks a day or two before hand the equipment should have been put aside for that reservation. Other then that, the truck was clean and good customer service.

Oh my gosh, Kim and her staff were so helpful. Moving can be stressful at anytime, but Kim happened to be at the front door when I entered. She warmly greeted me and took care of me through the whole process. I was set to go within a very short time. on line pick up didn't work, had to go into the shop for assistance. dropped off after hours, again the on-line drop off didn't work. had to call the help desk and sit on hold for extended period of time. took over 1/2 to drop off when it should have taken less than 5 minutes. like the concept of the system had it worked.

First thing: i asked at the counter to book a truck for the next day and pick up in a town 80 kms away. I was booked for a week away and pick up in the city the office was in. I canceled that order, messaged the office and i was not contacted about the screw up. Second, when i got the truck a few days later, i rolled into the storage area and the alarm was going off. The security intercom system was utilized by me to notify the office next door. I was blamed for setting the alarm off. It was certainly not me. Everything was dealt with about 45 minutes later when staff were running around trying to figure out the issue. Lady at the desk was awesome yesterday.

Kim was awesome!!! Helped me out when my reservation was messed up. The staff indoors at the office were NOT wearing masks. This is twice I've been in in a month and I can say I do not feel comfortable going back in knowing their lack of pandemic responsibility. Only 2 screens separated customers but those lines were not open, only the wheelchair and the one next to it. No sanitizers next to debit machines or desks. Uhaul is a HUGE company and am disappointed. I will be using a different company next time.

Staff was superb, I forgot a laptop in the hallway outside my locker and when I called about it the girl in the office went across the street to the locker site and brought it back to the office for me to pick up the next day. When I first rented there was a keypad access that unfortunately broke. It broke around December if I recall correctly and as far as I know it has yet to be fixed. I was told that they were waiting on a replacement part.

I have a new mattress and an electrical adjustable bed that have sustained water damage which will null and void my 10 year warranty. The mattress cover is also stained. This bed and mattress cost approximately $5000.00.

I rented a storage unit sight unseen. When it came time for moving the belongings to the unit, it became clear that the unit was inaccessible. The staff quickly gave me a better placed unit. Thanks.

Glad I checked the U-Haul website and found out about the U-BOX option. Whole move went very smoothly, and I would recommend U-BOX to anyone. And it was half the cost of other options I looked at!
