I have rented a van from this location for about 25 years now, they are very reliable.LOIS R.
You had only one (1) employee receiving equipment returns and dispatching equipment rentals on the afternoon of Monday, October 11. There were more than 10 customers returning trucks, vans, trailers, etc. and another group wanting to take delivery of their reserved trucks and vans. The sole employee kept fidgeting with a malfunctioning bar code on some wooden box for over 45 minutes instead of postponing that and servicing the customers as well as clearing the grounds of equipment coming in and going out. The line of cars went around the block. I got there shortly after 4:30 pm and left at 6:15 pm and he had only taken care of two customers, the guy in front of me and myself. They were to close at 7:pm, but there was a long line of vehicles waiting to be attended to. This is not acceptable.fernando L.

My reservation for a van was at 16500 S. Dixie Highway for 2 PM. I had to drive 6 + miles to the location at 6701 S. Dixie Highway to rent a van because my reservation at the first location was not available. I incurred extra cost, extra time, and had to deal with a poor attitude from the employees at that location. I asked if I could rent a 10' truck, as there were 6 sitting outside and was told no. I will never use U-haul again, and will tell everyone I know about the poor experience I had.Josh R.

Every other month I need to take some boxes to Fort Lauderdale. I usually do 2 trips on my car. It was my first time renting a van in order To save time. First thing, the person who handled the car to me was dirty, unkept. It was 8 AM i would kind of understand it was the case by the end of the day. Maybe is not his fault. He was polite and courteous though. I recommend you guys to give uniforms to your employees. Maybe you can have a changing room w a shower. I felt bad for the guy . The car look dirty and as I used a wipe to clean the wheel , it came out gray. The inside looked ok but not clean as well. I am. I don't have phobia to germs neither I am a picky cleaner. I have seen commercials of you guys and to be honest the pick up and drop of it the truck was an easy process but bellow what was expected. The experience as a whole, would have been better if it was clean. Plus the stirring wheel was not aligned but was ok.Rosa B.

The service staff at the front counter were horrible. I did the option to do online pickup so all I needed was my key and the two staff completely ignored me another customer. We both politely said that we were there to get our keys and the counter staff did not even acknowledge our presence. When they finally did acknowledge us they were unprofessional.Carrie G.

I rent pick up trucks from this location on a regular basis. I have never rented one that I did not have to clean the inside of the windshield so I could see while driving at night. The trucks are never cleaned. This truck stunk like sewage passenger seat was disgusting. They tried to cover it up with a spray instead of cleaning itFrederick B.

The online check in is a little redundant with the representatives who stand outside to help people with check ins and returns, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it has taken around 30 minutes to get my truck both times I've used this location even when I fill out paperwork ahead of time, which is a little slow.Courtney C.

The UHaul representative that assisted me at the store was horrible to deal with. Did not know how to explain the options for the rental - one way price option and locations for drop off. The worst customer service skills ever. This location seemed to have a serious bad culture starting from the manager down. Not sure if they are having Covid fatigue dealing with the public that I assume is not treating them well. I was trying my best to ask for an explanation but the lack of patience and empathy of the representative to describe how the process works made the experience horrible. My day was completely turned upside down as I did not understand the one way prices (the representative gave me 3 different prices). Out of frustration I just wants the get the rental and leave. Upon calling Uhaul another representative gave me the explanation on how the one way trailer rental works but then it was too difficult to change my rental - even though I was willing to pay the extra fee. I could not get through to speak to the local coordinator or whatever you call it to make the changes 40 minutes trying to get through and even left a message with my call back. No one ever called me. I will be seeking an alternate company going forward for any of my rental needs (which I have several coming up due to a move). The experience was not a good one and I will NOT recommend using your company to any of my clients as well ( I will as a corporate real estate advisor) Sorry to see such a big company loose control of leadership in this manner but I guess it is a sign of the times.Ivan M.

I have been to this location twice and always have delays in the pick up and drop off portion of my rental. The counter service is courteous and efficient but the yard staff seem like they are doing me a favor by getting my rental.George G.

I used the app to pick up and drop off the truck I rented. I did not have to see or speak to anyone. My recommendation is that as a client take the time to read and/or see the u-tube video on using the app. If you do, it will be a breeze; if you do not, you might be frustrated as some of the reviewers have commented. I rented a cargo van, so when I first got there I went inside and the whole process took about 10 minutes to verify info and the customer service girl was very friendly . I went outside to look for my cargo van and just under 2 minutes another employee assisted me in finding the van. When I returned I was so tired from moving. As I used the van only for a few hours. But returning it was so easy I drove to the equipment return area and the same person that assisted me in looking for the van assisted me. It was so easy and hassle free. He counted the mileage and then told me my price. Was told my total amount and asked would you like a printed receipt or an email. I opted for an email and that was it. Overall everyone was friendly and very professional. I used them 3 years ago when I moved and I used them again yesterday I will definitely come back and use their services again if I have to move or to recommend to a friend or even a family member. Thank you all for making a hard part of moving and making it so easy.Arturo G.

I've had my stuff in storage for almost 4 years. A rat somehow got in there, but luckily it didn't ruin anything. I had my things packed pretty good. Hopefully it didn't get into any other units. I cancelled online and continue getting emails to pay. I got stuck in the elevator for over 45 mins I ranged the bell many times no one came. I called front desk 3 times and told in their way. We stored items for 3 months. We intended on needing to wash all the bedding and clothing. We have unpacked and everything is odor free. The facility is cleaner than I could have ever imagined. The person who I got my unit from gave me the wrong number unit, so when I unloaded my car and brought everything up to what I thought was my unit, it was apparently not my unit. I had to unload everything back into my vehicle, go into the store and wait in line to get my correct storage unit, go back and load everything again and bring my stuff up. The only issue we had this time versus other times was that when we registered online we could not automatically get the First month free promotional. In the past every time we got the first month free when we checked in at the office. However, the management has informed us that they will adjust the payment in the following month. I pay for a truck on Sunday May 8 2021 to take out my things from two storages that I had and two guys got stuck on the elevator been there for an hour without any help until we realize nobody was helping them and went to call a worker and he said that he was going to call another coworker to come but the guys were in desperte need of air and water since the emergency bottom was not working becouse no one but one went to see them since we were there taking our stuff from the first floor so they call the fire rescue who were the only ones to come and Open the elevator. No one of the staff did anything to try to help the guys on the elevator or fix the elevator after it was open. Because of that we could not take our stuff from the 4th floor when we already had the truck paid. I need someone to tell me how to proceed on this since it's not fair that I have to pay other truck to take my things from the 4th floor. When I ask the lady at the front desk if uhual could provide me with at least a van so I could take my stuff another day when the elevator it's fixed her answer was I could use the stairs which I find nonsensical.
