The staff was too busy on a personal phone (speakerphone) to explain the charges/ contract. I rent a trailer once a week and prefer to use this location. (U-Haul Moving & Storage of Dade County-Miami, FL) Their service is professional, and they meet my organization's needs.David W.
Did not receive the vehicle I requested. Ordered a 10 foot but they only had a larger size. Was not charged extra but didn't want a larger truck due to my loading areas. Desk person told me I had requested the larger truck when I had not. Also, although I did all the pre-registration on line, I had to repeat everything in the store. The most concerning thing, however, was the lack of pandemic cautions inside and outside the building. None of the staff (inside and outside) wore masks. There was plexiglass in front of the desk staff but the glass wasn't tall enough and didn't negate the need for masks. The desk person actually got up and walked into the customer space to go outside without a mask and walked very close to me and my partner. Then a different staff person came in from outside without a mask and walked close by. When I returned the vehicle later that day, another outside person didn't have a mask. It's not that they had the masks low on their faces, they had no masks in sight. This was very disturbing and totally unacceptable, especially as there was signage on the door that masks were required.HELEN H.

The staff were all helpful and did whatever they could to accommodate us. I had a great experience except for one detail which was not the fault of the employees at the store. When I called to reserve the storage unit I spoke to someone at the call center. This gentleman was very impatient and he kept cutting me off when I tried to speak. I explained to him that I was looking for a ground level unit because I had knee surgery and couldn't do stairs. He told me that he only had a 2nd floor unit and assured me multiple times on the call that this storage facility has an elevator and that I should be fine. That was a lie. I couldn't even change my location because there were no other spaces available at other locations. I had to carry all my belongings up 2 flights of stairs with a bad knee. My storage unit was riddled with mice and their droppings. I didn't have any food items for them to eat like i was advised, yet the were in boxes eating my books. I'm a Moving Helper. I do a lot of pick up truck rentals for Uboxes. This U-Haul location is the most horrible of all. The manager is a mess. She lacks organizational skills and always not in the office. The sale representative there seems like she lacks basic fundamental knowledge of relating with people. These types of people shouldn't be allow to handle day to day businesses. They're just too ghetto, and they think everyone have the same low level of understanding as them. U-Haul need to do something about this, for they're liability and bad image for such thriving entity. I rest my case!!Luz N.

Mice lined black trays and debris from a previous user filled the unit in which we had to clean ourselves, we were given a broom by the manager. To add insult to injury we were charged for an additional day for the truck because our items were not out even though the truck was on the property prior to the end of the contract. Had we not have to clean the unit ourselves , this would be avoided but the location said it was nothing they could do the system charged us, this is very poor services.Dino F.

As I was leaving the parking lot one of the employees was blocking the exit with her personal vehicle. After several minutes waiting i had to used the vehicle horn about five time to advise the employee to move. Once the employee got out of the vehicle she confronted me in a rude manner. The woman working that night went above and beyond to help us with our reservation. We don't recall her name but she had red hair and an injured arm in a sling. Please make sure she gets the help and support she needs because there was a line, some people were heated but she steadfast did her job and once we made it up she didn't carry over the rude customers rather she did what she could to make sure we were helped and able to complete our task. Good employees are hard to find. She is a hard worker and should be commended for that while injured ontop of it all.Christopher L.
Han cobrado demasiado Toll $ 6 despues $16 despues $22 hasta cuando piensan cobrar. Y esa violacion donde fue o clonaron mi tarjeta. Estan cobrando de una tarjeta que nunca uso. Me parece un abuso. El alquiler fue el 7/12/2020 y hoy 09/30/2020 todavia siguen cobrando me parece un abuso. Revisen bien pero eso no furon muchos toles en el recorrido. Inside truck front was dirty. Pick up was 7am. I left there almost 10am. First auto transport had a nail in the tire, second option had a broken tire brace do I had to get a third exchange. The link to take pics of the equipment kept expiring and I had to keep reminding manager to resend link for each exchange of equipment. Made me late to get home for the movers to load my truck at 830. Too much of a hassle. Plus I reserved the truck and equipment for a location next to my house and I had to drive 25 minutes to get a truck and auto transporter.Shanalee G.
