I was forced to use this location because the original location where I reserved my truck gave my truck away. That location, Wee Willy's at 1190 Jesse Jewell Pkwy SE, Gainesville, GA was an abysmal experience. They weren't apologetic and had no alternatives to the predicament they created other than to "call Uhaul". Luckily there was another location only 30 miles away that had a truck available and was open until 8pm. Otherwise I would have been stranded without a vehicle for my moving day.Jason K.
I had a terrible experience with this rental at time of return. I was charged almost $10 for gas (I am disputing w/ manager) even though I filled up to appropriate level. The clerk insulted me by saying I stole 4 blankets. I rented 12 blankets and 4 were damaged/lost in the move. I was happy to pay the $5/blanket charge for my error...but, the clerk should not have insulted me with implying that I stole her blankets. It was a terrible experience and I will not rent from this location ever again. I usually lease from McEver Rd/Oakwood GA (they didn't have the truck I needed on 9/11)DARLA E.

I had a flat on the trailer that we picked up from a different location because the truck was not available at the correct place. The trailer ended up having a flat even before we left on a 700 mile trip. The tire service man was spectacular but put me behind 2 hours. Not his fault just timing.Jason B.

This location is an embarrassment to the uhaul brand! Rented 200 uhaul trucks and I've never been treated like I was today! While they are the closest store to my house I will have to find another store! SO disappointing!DAVID H.

The only item I was not able to figure out on the FORD truck was how to disengage the Tow light on the dash which probably made the transmission shift a little rough. Maybe they can check to see if customer is actually towing something or not and turn it off if not towing.Winnie R.

Took a two truck from this location and had all roaches more than 20-30 some dead and some alive. I could also smell cockroach spray in it. I also have a picture of it. I had to broom clean it myself and trash the roaches before I could put my stuff in.Mateen Uddin Sid M.

When I rented the truck, it was parked between another truck and trailer, so I had to go back inside and ask someone to move the truck so I could leave. When I returned the truck at 6:57 PM, the door was already locked and the woman inside refused to help me; instead she insisted that I use the overnight key dropbox.Glen G.
On the first call, De'mon answered and he took care of our needs immediately. I couldn't have asked for a kinder, more efficient employee. Throughout this entire year he has helped us through our needs for storage, always with a smile on his face, and a wonderful attitude. 2nd time we have been screwed over on our bill. We returned the trailer after hours. Although the sales guy had highlighted that we needed to get online and say we returned it, after a long day of moving, we did not read the contract until it was too late. Got a $20 charge which is ridiculous. The sales guy should have verbally told us about hidden fees before we left the store.. This was our 2nd incident. On the first visit, we rented a truck. They sent a text to take a picture of the gas gauge after I was already on the road driving. Cant look at texts while driving. Got charged an extra $40 when in fact, the truck was returned with the exact amount of gas as when it was picked up. Will think twice the next time we need to rent something.James D.

I forgot the name of the gentleman on duty at the time; however, he did a great professional and courteous job in signing me in, hooking up the trailer and signing me out. He even advised me that the furniture pads I ordered to be rented were excessive and he kindly refunded my wife the following day for their rental fee after we indeed did not use them during the loading of the trailer. Service and location were excellent. Not able to have the trailer we reserved caused issues with our move. 5x10 is not 6x12. Could not transport all the items we needed due to trailer change. Had no options when notified less than an hour before pick-up. Honor the reservation!Robert S.
Noticed many complaints from customers who used helpers to load and unload. Companies cancelled jobs or didn't show up. Mine also backed out 2 days prior to my scheduled appointment. Suggestion would be to not to list companies that have done this more than 2-3 times. They are using you to get jobs but are not dependable which frustrates your customers.Alan H.

U-haul charges a full month for any portion of a month. They did say maybe one or 2 day additional will avoid paying another entire month. The do not pro-rate. That gives them the opportunity to collect 2 rent amounts from 2 different renters for the same space. It would be very good business to pro-rate so the renter could move when the timing works for them. I will probably look elsewhere the next time. The Management for this Cumming Office were very nice, but their hands were tied by Corporate. Also, keep in mind if you reserve a space or vehicle in an office the Corporate computer order system can negate your reservation.Robert A. | Overall Experience

De'Mon is sincerely THE BEST manager I've EVER dealt with. The 2-weeks prior to physically visiting his location, I had tried to call (6x) and get info about a 10x10 Climate Controlled Unit. The person on the phone said that didn't have any and I'd have to keep trying. So, a few days later, I physically paid-a-visit to the store and De'Mon was there. He did a little research and got me into a 10x10 CCU...in 5 minutes. Now THAT is customer service!! De'Mon is friendly, professional, knowledgeable & accommodating...all with a sense of humor. The following note DOES NOT apply to/concern De'Mon: My only issue is that, 8 out of 10 times, I can't reach a CSR at the location.Michael G. | First Impressions
U-Haul Corporate is great, but this is the second time this particular location has tried to rip me off. The first time they tried claiming that I drove over 100 miles and loaded a full large truck came back and unloaded it into the unit within an hour and a half. This was obviously false and corporate fixed the issue. This time I submitted online that I was ready to move out cleaned out the unit and submitted all necessary info including photos and the manager was not approving the move out. I almost got charged for another month because he wasn't doing his job and processing move out requests. I had to call corporate to get it done so I wasn't charged again. Again corporate is awesome, but this location has literally tried to drain me of hundreds of dollars due to ineptitude or malice with a bad attitude in the process. Whatever reason, this location just needs better management and live up to the level of service U-Haul corporate provides. I shouldn't have to go to corporate to work out the issues every time. I think this location just hopes people won't go or won't know to call corporate and will pay the money and let themselves be taken advantage of.Christopher B. | Overall Experience
