There was no fuel in the truck, even though they claimed there was 3/16 of a tank. When I pointed this out to an employee, they said they would change when I came back. Instead, when I returned with a 1/8 of a tank they charged me for 8 gallons and $75. They used the UHAUL APP to inflate the original fuel level and then charge me extra. Lairs.Joe S.

For some reason I was on some type of list that stated I could not be rented to, I had a whole crew coming to my home with movers which I had already paid for. If there's some type of list this needs to be made aware to the person at the time of booking otherwise it could cost someone thousands of dollars! Everything fine until I emptied my units. I had 2 units, almost $300 a month total, rent due on the 4th. I moved out of California, unfortunately June 4th only dat movers could come, was charged full rent till July 4th, including insurance on empty units, as soon as units empty they put ready to rent tags on, my daughter went to office to demand those be removed, she replaced my locks on and had to go back on June 27th to surrender units. Why the double dipping? Why insurance on empty units?? I never had problems before this, but will never use U-Haul again, no matter what. A bit more transparency on pricing would keep the experience at a higher level. I can only speak to my personal experience, but I can't imagine that it is unique. The rental fee is $29 and a certain amount, $0.89/ mile, over so many miles, 100. So the man says "we should take the commercial rate instead" because it would only be $0.39/mile over the 100. Here it comes, that rental fee is $89. This is the old bait and switch, not an unreasonable sales process, just disappointing. Most people are gonna end up falling into the commercial trip range, just offer that and downsize them if they're only using it for a short trip. This would give a better overall experience for more people, most of the time. Uhaul, if you're intrested, I'll be happy to teach you this process.JOSHUA W.

1. The AC on 2d floor did not appear to be working on 6/5/2021. 2. Too many cars were parked in the docking area. Uhaul trucks need access w/o having to wait. Regular customers should be instructed parking in dock is only for loading & unloading Uhaul trucks! There was plenty of parking in nearby lot. Nothing specific to this location but just in general...Please ensure all of your systems are up to date so there is not another hour and a half computer delay; we are renting moving vans so you obviously know our day is booked and mapped out already. Therefore, a delay throws everything off. Also, I believe that Uhaul can speed up some of its processes, systems and maybe better team training overall. It should not have taken them more than 5-8 min to deal with a customer who already has a reservation with ID and card ready to go.DEJONAE C.

I used the mobile phone pickup/dropoff service but was very disappointed at the user experience. The site didn't have a clearly labeled area for scanning the barcode (I'm not sure why that is even necessary). There was a QR code and a UPC code in two different posters and neither of them was recognized by the app. I dropped the keys off and took lots of pictures before leaving the truck. I then called uhaul the next morning and waited for 40+min before speaking to someone who was able to confirm my truck was received. I tried doing this on the mobile site but it didn't recognize that I had completed my order. Please do better.CHRISTIAN B.

I made a reservation and received email confirmation for a Uhaul in Arcadia. When I arrived they didn't have me in the system and helped me figure out that the reservation had been changed without my knowledge to Covina (another 30 min away in LA traffic). When I got there, the staff was good and efficient, but the dolly I rented was just loose in the back of the truck and nowhere to tie it or hook it. I was told to just let it slide around on the floor cause it wouldn't hurt anything. The truck was exceptionally dirty all over it. I think a simple rinse with a hose would have been good. I could barely see through the window and had to go to a gas station to clean off the window. I was just happy they had a truck available so I didn't complain.Joseph P.

Over all a "so so" experience. I'm not happy with the fact I was prorated on my month when I signed up but when I checked out in the middle of the month I was told no prorated month! So you take money for a half month, but you don't return money if you leave early?! That's wrong. I was told you pay for a whole month should've stayed for a whole month! Amy was very friendly and helpful when I reserved my 2 storage units. Everyone else I dealt with seemed like it was a nuisance to help me. I asked if I could pay a fee to dispose of a small nightstand. I was told the manager had to look at it on a cart so I walked back, pulled it out of the unit, and put it on a cart, and walked back to the office where I was told that they do not dispose of furniture.
