I give this rating only because of the gentleman that lives onsite. He came out after many attempts to contact u haul by phone, which don't waste your time, he came over and got us on our way after a long day of flying to get there. When we returned the truck we again had big problems with the 24/7 app and again he ran over and go us on our way. He is invaluable to this location.JONATHAN H.

The desk clerk was either lazy or incompetent with paperwork. The mechanic had to come in to handle my return. The pickup was dirty and had a tire which required more air every other day.POLLYANNE M.

My experience with U Haul on billy hext rd. was very good. Jacob was very helpful and cordial when I was looking to rent a space. More importantly he demonstrates the same courteous manner when I terminated my rental due to another facility offering covered parking for my trailer. That was the ONLY reason I chose to store elsewhere. I'd highly recommend U haul and want to congratulate them for having such an exemplary employee like Jacob. Your employee â€œBrianna Bakerâ€ is a thief and a liar. We left a white at&t hotspot in youths uhaul under the drivers seat, and we went to get it back hours after we dropped the uhaul off. When we got there she was outside and she claimed their staff cleaned the uhaul truck and didn't see anything. We double checked and it was indeed gone, so we left. We went back around lunch time to try to talk to the manager, (she was very sweet and nice) and we confronted Brianna right in front of her. Brianna told her when SHE cleaned the truck she didn't see anything, but we know 110% it was there where we had put it. So she was caught in a lie right in front of her manager, she told us earlier other staff members cleaned the truck but in front of her manager when her manager asked, she told her when SHE cleaned it there was nothing, and got nervous because she was obviously caught in a lie. She knew exactly what we were talking about and she is NOT a good liar.Savana H.

The steering wheel needed to be adjusted with the wheels. To go straight meant having the steering wheel crooked covering the mph dial. The back was dusty and needed to be swept. I would have noticed, but when I got the truck they were about to close.JOSHUA K.
I have rented U-Hauls before over the years. The unit was clean but the most uncomfortable ride ever. Gentle ride van is a joke. My husband is a long haul truck driver and had issues as I did during and after the trip. The truck beat us up from Texas to Georgia, literally. We both had days of discomfort and pain. Most likely look at another rental company in the future to avoid this horrible discomfort.Alison G.

This facility "DOSE NOT HAVE" a 10'x20' , climate control !! They rent you : ( "2") 10'x10' lockers. ( sometimes close to each other, sometimes not) When you have several items at 12' in length, and find out, After reserving, and On the day of move in, That the advertised 10'x20' DOES NOT Exist. The tow dolly was literally broken, one part dragging on the ground when it was brought to me to attach to the truck. I had to drive 20 miles to another location to get a different one, costing me time, miles and gas. The employee said they could not change the paperwork to reflect the later time (9:00 instead 7:00 when I was supposed to pick it up), the extra miles(20 miles which put me over the allotted miles and I was charged extra for them) and the gas used to go those 20 miles. I am very dis satisfied with the service I received from Uhaul as a whole. The associates at the Billy Hext location were great! They did everything in their power to help me. As far as my reservation being fulfilled was a freaking joke. I did not get what I reserved and I will not recommend any service to the Odessa area. Damien at the Billy Hext location was the only associate that took the time to help me. While he was training a new associate at the same time he still went the extra mile to help me.GILBERT M.

We do have an issue with the left side of the roll down door. It seems to put in at the bottom, like its out of the track?? Maybe UHaul could check on that next time we are by there? The front desk guy was so nice. I didn't have to go inside (I have cancer) so my friend went in with all of my stuff and he let her. They didn't have the one unit I thought I reserved but instead gave me 2 for the same price & size!
