My UBox arrived late. I called customer service on 7/3 to see about getting the refund they promised. Today is 7/15 and I’m still waiting. I did call again on 7/12 and I was told it was approved but hadn’t been applied to my account. Supposedly it was referred to a manager. Although the overall experience was decent, and the employees friendly, there were bumps along the way. The delivery driver to my original location forgot the lock I paid for, so I had to drive to the UHaul location to pick it up. As I stated, the box was delivered to my destination location late. The earliest they could deliver it to me was 6 days after it arrived. I was without my belongings from 6/14 to 7/9. In hindsight, I would probably have paid a bit more and towed my belongings. Hopefully I will get my refund soon.

Employee Stephanie was extremely prompt and super friendly. She was great at recommending the best option for my situation. Best experience with a U-Haul employee I have ever had. There were a lot of customers and other than her, not many employees to help. She tried her best to be quick but it would have been nice to have more employees on the floor for a shorter wait time.

Absolutely horrible experience. During the installation of a brake controller, two holes were accidentally drilled through our vehicle's brake booster (repaired by our local dealer for $1,500).

When we got there, all parking spaces were blocked by trucks, but they were just for show, not for actual customers. Had to park in the one drive area. Truck was parked up on the front of the lot, they gave us a key and go find it. The passenger side mirror was touching the driver mirror on next truck. Husband barely got it out. We were supposed to approve all of the damage from 4 photos that were taken from way back. Lot, lots of damage that wasn't marked. I asked a worker if I needed to take lots of pictures. We finally did to cover us, then someone can over and said, yeah we known about those but X markers won't stick to it.... But I finally did take pictures they would ding us. Then gas level was over marked so submitted a new photo. Then we had to drive around to another area and load our room and blankets and furniture dollys. Worst customer service ever from Uhaul. Terrible.

Using my phone for the vehicle check out was awkward. Due to the reflective surface, it was very difficult to see the images that I was supposed to compare the vehicle to. And the whole process was rather clunky and I had to ask the counter person a few times to get things squared away. They were very helpful, but the check out process took over 20 minutes instead of the 10 or so before whenever I just had someone go over it with me on previous rentals.

I guess I wish the lock boxes would be closer to the vehicles, especially those reserved for self-check in and self-check out only. This location frequently has multiple personnel checking in and out uhaul vehicles so it can get confusing for those who are only doing self check in/outs. At locations like these, a good reminder would be ...Remember you are doing self check in or self check out; so you will need to complete everything yourself and not turn it in to any person on the lot. The grounds are confusing for driving. You can't tell where you are allowed to drive and which way vehicles can go. I wish it was better arranged. This is now the closest location to where I live; but I may go elsewhere for ease of use.

Employee who assisted with trailer was very rude and visibly annoyed. Was very impatient with me, gave unclear instructions for the damage assessment, and just walked away when finished. No thank you or have a nice day. Just plain poor customer service

I did not notice but one tire was warn almost to the replacement 5/32 tread on the tire. I was 20 miles from my destination and the tire blew out. I called for Road service and it was awesome, it was the 4th of July holiday. MTS commercial tire arrived in 30 minutes had both tires replaced in 20 minutes and i was back on the road. Great road service!!!

I showed up 1 hour early for my appointment as I did not know how long the drive was from my home in Sweet Home to Corvallis. The gentleman at the counter said he thought he could put the hitch on my car a little early. Thanks to Uhaul I was on my way back home before my SCHEDULED appointment !! THANK YOU U HAUL !!!

We had to walk around the large uhaul facility to find the truck and it was parked in a very narrow and difficult to get out of spot. The truck could have been brought to the front for the customer and made easier.

The description of the gallons needed to fill the truck back up are seriously backwards! Because of that of course I ended up putting in probably two extra gallons that ended up getting charged for 8 miles that I went over you think there'd be a little bit of a credit allowance there.....thank u!!!!

Have more staff available for check-in. I made a reservation and checked in using the U-Haul app, and it still took 45 minutes to process our reservation. The guy was great, and moved as fast as he could, he just needed more help.

This was one of the most stressful situations. The overall hitch installation and people were fine. I’m giving a poor rating because I went to the Corvallis location to pick up a trailer after getting the hitch installed. The person I talked to on the phone set me up with a 4x8 and when I asked if that would fit a full mattress, dresser, and other boxes he said yes. I got there to get the trailer and saw it and realized there was no way it would even fit a full mattress. This location didn’t have the 5X8 so they sent me MAS auto body in Lebanon. They had one available and when they went to attached the trailer, they noticed that 3 parts were missing from my hitch installation. It was missing the ball, pin and clip and bar which I was charged for as shown on my receipt. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated that they charged me for the parts and forgot them. Then, I had to wait for an hour at the Lebanon location for the parts to arrive from another store. These individuals at MAS were amazing and incredibly helpful. Uhaul on the other hand, not even close.

The employees were completely professional and working very hard, however I waited in line for over an hour and a half to get my trailer. I understand that it was one of the busiest weekends of the year being the end of June in a college town, but having more employees would have made this process a lot smoother for the customers and a whole lot less stressful for the employees.

I made an early reservation which, apparently, meant nothing. I was told less than a week before my move that my reservation had to change by truck and dates of use. I had to forfeit my deposit on movers because of U-Haul's mistake. I will not be using them again.

The application sent to me to note prior damage to the trailer never worked, so I simply took date-stamped photos of the pre-existing damages on the trailer and called it good. The agent at the rental center did not seem to care that the app did not work.

The customer service of the lady who greeted me at 7 a.m. She had pink hair. There was no one else in the store. She appeared put upon and rolled her eyes at me when I asked if she could show me the dashboard of the van I had never driven before. She did not do a walk through of the van before I left either. Her attitude was like "It's 7 a.m. and I just got here, why are you bothering me?" because I am a customer and you're getting paid. Otherwise the experience was good.

The truck ignition must not working properly. You had to put the key in then pull it out one click, then push key back in and turn key while pushing in. Would work some times not every time. Very iffy starting situation. Very worry some. Can’t believe the ignition has not been replaced. Other wise truck was in good condition.

The $2 licensing and environmental fee was not a "big" deal since small dollars, but it was still annoying to find out about it AFTER the fact. Things add up, and we went to some lengths to try and do this as cheaply as possible. Overall though good bang for the buck, and nice staff people in Corvallis. Thanks.

The line was short, but there were not enough staff to handle the simple pick-ups/drop-offs. Employees were having trouble using the computer software to get the prices estimates provided by the website (not in my case, but I got to hear the whole story while I was in line for a half hour with just one person in front of me). The employee in the office (who seemed to be the manager) was respectful despite looking really overworked. The employee who helped me attach my trailer seemed very flustered trying to figure out how to put it on (maybe she was new?), but was very kind and respectful.

There was a lot of trouble at the front desk with my reservation. It took an hour to get my truck and I had completed the electronic check-out in advance. They finally got it right, but seemed a little understaffed. theyhanded me the keys and sent me on my way. I had to go back because the truck was not where it was supposed to be on the lot.

Odometer was in kilometers. This caused some issues when returning the equipment, as the "mileage" charged was not correct. Please check that odometers are set to miles rather than kilometers.

I have a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali - the trailer that I rented seemed to have a short in the wiring system - when I plugged the trailer into my wiring harness my monitor began to flicker and go black altogether. Once I disconnected the trailer from my car, my monitor/infotainment center went back to normal. I'm concerned about the long term effects that this may have caused to my electrical system. I did document the incident with the service representative a u-haul. I would like a manager to call me so we can discuss this. 971-570-0541.

Albany Oregon U Haul are the worst way do you even allow them to operate I live in Albany Oregon but have drive over to Corvallis to rent equipment In Corvallis there very help full always have what I need very good people In Albany Oregon they have no equipment and there very rude and have no concept of customer service why are they allowed to operate is beyond my understanding it would be nice if some one stepped up did something about it

With customer service so abhorrently poor you need a star rating system that goes far lower than '1'. I can not say enough bad things about my experience and I am telling every person I know and more. Stuck on the side of the road for four hours, uhaul.com/help couldn't determine my location and there was no place to enter my location manually, and after two and a half hours on hold, and then finally talking to TWO representatives on the phone, neither one of them actually sent roadside assistance my way. I had to call my sister to come rescue us before my phone died, and she dropped me off at the office location where they literally could not do a SINGLE THING to get me roadside assistance. So, your website didn't work, your phone assistance didn't work, your employees can't do anything except direct you back to roadside assistance, neither could the local manager or traffic assist. So where does that leave me? Fucked. You're lucky we didn't break down in a dangerous location, sustain any injuries, or had a kid or pet on us that couldn't handle sitting out in the sun on the side of the road all day. Fuck your company, I hope you get sued out of existence. I can guarantee that I will never do business with U-haul again.

Long lines, poor communication, our first auto trailer wasn’t working. Really hated there was no help with getting our auto transport on and in place. We paid over 1100 and to get told, “watch a YouTube video” to help get our car up was less than satisfactory. Unless I have no other option we won’t use Uhaul for our next move.

Transportation costs quoted were from a third party provider and inaccurate and incomplete. Damage from rats and mice from chewing and waste to personal items is extensive. No disputes, just subpar.
