Better Guidanceâ€¦.it's not everyday people rent a truck and know the ins and out of procedures. Y'all took almost all work from employees and put it on an app and customer is responsible for opening and writing and pictures it's just a hassle to a customer who is in a hurry. Clean inside and out of trucks mine was not clean by far and even once dropped off it didn't get clean just looked at and put back at the available spot for the next customer.Casey T.

Reservation was made 2 weeks prior to pick up day. Requested a dolly and two furniture movers for the move and wasn't informed until I went to pick up the truck that the location didn't have any furniture movers. They also informed me I would have access to a dolly but only if there was one in the truck which there wasn't. Instead of being told prior to my pickup the items were unavailable and able to make other arrangements I had to hurry to find somewhere to buy one and wasted rental time. Employees on location weren't overly personalble either. They didn't do anything wrong but definitely didn't seem eager to be there.LEAH J.

My handsome and I have rented from this location multiple times in the past. This last experience was different. I completed my reservation online no problem. However when I arrived the young lady was eating Chick fa la for breakfast. She assumed I was picking up a truck. If she had asked or I could have provided my reservation#. I gave her my license. She seemed unconcerned and bothered. The pick up hitch went fine however when we returned the trailer the young man was being accusatory. Implying that the trailer cargo was dirty. He took it to the bay area and begin to clean it mop etc. I advised that this is how it was picked up. We moved a queen size bedroom set without a mattress or box spring. That could not have caused the trailer to be dirty as he was stating. I told him next time I would take pictures myself before leaving. It's not what you say but how you say it that makes the difference.Mashell G.

When I arrived the keys to the U-Haul were not in the assigned box. I had to go inside completely defeated the purpose of online pick up. No one seemed to know where they were. Extremely unorganized and unprofessional. They also charged me for two Dollys knowing they'd only placed one in the truck. I had to enter the location 3 times total.Olga O.

Just want to say what a great job your people did the ladies went out of their way to find the correct hitch for my vehicle and schedule me an appointment . When the hitch came in Friday 11/12 21 the Tech called to inform me it was in my appointment was for Tuesday 11/16/21 he told me I could come in and wait , I went ahead and came up the tech got on it as soon as pulled in took about 45 minutes ,once again thanks for every thing First class crew , Thanks Bo Schneiderboe S.

There was a unregistered gun in between the passenger seat of the uhaul truck!!! My husband who drives trucks for a living was driving this uhaul with my 13 year old son and my friends 17 year old son. The whole time not knowing there was a gun left in the front seat in between the cushions. The uhaul representative called us and asked us to come back up to uhaul not even telling us that the former customer left a gun in the front seat. If the police would have pulled my husband over he would have lost his job, possibly went to jail, my son would have went to child protector services and a lot more! Not to mention if the gun would have misfired and hurt or possibly killed an innocent person. The only thing the manager did was claimed to take 30 dollars off of the rental! My son's life, my husband's life, and career, and my friends son's life is worth more than $30. I am so disappointed and need someone from corporate to contact me ASAP.Timothy H.
The pick-up location did not have what I requested (a hand truck to take with me) and the vehicle was not clean (particularly with COVID times, I had to clean it myself upon entry). I normally liked this place, but it was lacking in some of the services that I was expecting. Now the people were professional at the checkout and pleasant, I was just disappointed in the equipment and the availability of the equipment.JACQUELINE S.
My only issue was that I reserved a Appliance Dolly on my order and paid for it & when I picked the truck up, the cashier had given it to another customer & it wasn't available for me! Which was a huge problem because my husband had a massive heart attack & couldn't help with the move so I had to pay 2 people to help me due to me not having the appliance dolly! Did pre checkin on line. Got there at 7:40 was almost 8:20 when left. Walked right to desk, lost key. Said we'll give u a 26ft....no way too big for us to drive on interstate. Finally found key. The trailer I reserved did not have functioning lights. The 3rd attempt at an alternate trailer (the one I finally used) was covered in dirt on the outside. The alternate trailer was enclosed and did not have a utility ramp, which is why I needed the utility trailer in the first place. As a result, I had to get help lifting and lowering the riding lawnmower I was transporting in and out of the trailer. Customer service was awful and it took 1hr+ to pick up the WRONG trailer. What you can do to improve is have the equipment functional and ready for pickup when reserved. The whole process was awful and it pains me that I had to pay for such a horrible experience.Mathew K.
Although I was unable to get the storage unit size needed, I must say that the frustration experienced from weeks and weeks of calling the 1150 Dogwood Dr. Se Conyers, GA location was definitely made right upon my arrival. There were a few things that went wrong with me trying to reserve a storage unit from not being available, wrong unit, and then to no unit being reserved. Kayla was a blessing by being able to work her magic and honor the info. provided due to a mishap after not having anything available! Staff member Madison was EXCELLENT to include her thoroughness and knowledge about the reservation and unit process, her effective communication, professionalism, and patience displayed for all the questions that I had. Upon me returning the next day after realizing I would not need a storage unit, I was helped by staff member Shauntae or Shondra (please forgive me if name or spelling is wrong), but she was just as pleasant and helpful! This is a perfect example of why Good Customer Service is so important! The wait time was horrible. The truck was clean but the gas level was incorrect. I drove the truck for 26 miles round trip so you would think that the gas replacement should be under $50! No! The truck provided had a pants belt, a waffle fry, and paper waste in the drivers area. The larger issue is that the passenger side mirror was completely loose and would turn upon any momentum change. This is a major safety issue.Darius S.

The staff is excellent. My first time renting from them, I had used Hertz in the past exclusively. They had always been excellent as well. But when I went the their location in Conyers Ga there was new staff and did not receive a good reception that I've become accustomed too. I had chose them originally due to no logos all over the exterior, My main reason was they contracted all their van fleet to Amazon for The holidays. I like being able to have my signage displayed. Having said that, I'm in the advertising industry. I have clients, Coca-Cola, Nascar, Indy Racing league, and Primerica Financial Services to name a few. I would tell all my clients to have their logos plastered all of their vans. Great job Uhaul, you've got my business. Note: your return checkin process is much better. Was not the right unit i reserved. I was told my unit was ready but when i got there it wasn't available and i had to get one that was smaller than i wanted.I asked for a discount sincr mine wasn't available and i couldn't get one on that either so i was very disappointed. Experience has been positive. Staff was polite and helpful. It is clean and well maintained The biggest negative was that due to the very narrow hallways and low ceiling ductwork, we had one piece of furniture that could not be maneuvered to our unit. That single piece now must be stored elsewhere. Suggest that in future customers should be alerted that their large furniture may not fit into some units, even though the unit is large enough for the furniture.
