Becky or Megan managers at that time lied Cut lock off unit lock replaced with Uhaul lock key was sitting in Charlotte I feel as though once lock was cut off for late rent my unit had been entered and riffled through by workers This site do not answer phone calls often nor return call center messages Mailed payment in a second time it hadn't been opened just sitting in drawer SOME STAFF----2018- 2019 STAFF WASN'T ANY GOOD 1/4 HELPFUL. THERE WERE EXCESSIVE LONG LINES AND WAIT TIME. 2020 STAFF MUCH BETTER!!!!!!

At no point was I told I had to have a round lock until I was already checking in and they're with my merchandise. So I had to leave my personal belongings in the storage unit overnight unlocked because there was nothing open do the seats new hours regarding Cov- 19virus. So the next morning I had to wait time in line for 25 minutes just to purchase one of their logs when I could have been told that night So the next morning I had to wait time in line for 25 minutes just to purchase one of their locks when I could have been told that two days earlier when I first reserved the. When I received the truck in Salisbury it was dirty it had less than 3/4 of a tank and then they charged me because she mismarked the gas when I first got the truck. she didn't do a walk-through with me she just gave me the keys didn't check the fuel to see that it differed from what was marked on the paper. So then they charge me for fueling when I put it back as to where it was when I first got the truck. I also had to clean the truck from the previous person because they gave me a dirty truck. and if that wasn't enough they charge me for mileage when she told me it was unlimited up to 50 miles because it was a one-way rental. So next time I think I'll have to go see Penske or somebody else because this end up costing me more than they would have charged me not to mention all the headaches from the moment of getting the truck or trying to get it it was a big nightmare and it continued on to the storage unit. So no I would have to give you less than one star. I had been renting from U-Haul for over 30 years and this was very disappointing not to mention costly of time and money. the only one I can say that was nice was when I picked up the truck the lady was nice and the lady was nice at the U-haul center in the morning of the 29th however the man in the evening of the 28th was very, let's put it this way you could tell he didn't want to be there. Very dissatisfied customer a 30-year customer and you guys blew it on a truck rental and a storage rental.

Not related to this location but i ultimately ended up at this location because my reservation was for a 15’ one way rental at a location in Kannapolis NC for Sunday pickup. Got there and they were closed. My reservation was updated to a new location in Concord NC. They were closed. Googled UHaul in Concord NC and found this uHaul store. They told me that they had a 20’ for one way but got there and they didnt so i ended ip with a 26’ at greater cost. Should have more realtime info available in this weird time. Your 800 number was not able to help at all. However your after hours drop off process is great!

They did not give me a new truck for my 1100 mile trip, they rented out the truck I requested. We broke down during the trip because they gave us a truck with lots of problems. You had to send out a mobile technician to repair a alternator that was locking up, he had to replace the battery, and replaced a leaking oil filter that was loose and added 2 quarts of oil. I had to add 4 quarts of oil when I took the vehicle home to load, which left a oil stain on my driveway and the rental company charged me $100 out of my refund deposit. I am requesting a total refund for this rental!!!!!! I will pass this on in Facebook, twitter and instagram if no assistance is provided!!!!

I also purchased a dolly and 10 furniture pads, I was quite upset when I got to moving that the items I paid for were not in the truck. I was not able to go back as I had the truck for only a short time to move. Other than that the truck was clean and the online process made it easy.

This location then charged my card $21.40 extra and I returned the equipment 2days early! I called and asked why the employee told me I didn’t use the app and it was after hours. I asked what app? I never used a app before to return a truck he said he wasn’t returning my funds either. This information was NOT communicated with me with none of the 2 stores I had visited within this terrible move.

Make SURE your associates follow through on there words!!! The lady that handled my rental told me the towing trailer that was reserved for me had been rented to somebody else and that the one she gave me would be re-entered into the system to reflect that and that WASNT DONE!!! As a result I received a call from the drop off location wondering where the tow trailer was. And just NOW....I further see that a CHARGE of $20 has been assessed for extra time??? I returned the truck AND the tow trailer together a day EARLY!!!!

I walked in to rent a uhaul truck to move at 855 Concord Pkwy S, Concord, NC. Upon arrival, I noticed several uhaul trucks throughout the parking lot that were not being used. I met with an associate and stated I was looking to rent a truck for the day. I was asked if I had a reservation and I said no, never has been an issue in the past as I have just walked in before. I was then told that there were no trucks available for rent and they had 1 available but they had to keep that open in case of an emergency. I asked if he would be able to check any surrounding uhaul places to see if there was any availability and was told he couldnt look it up. I left the store, went into my vehicle and pulled up the uhaul website as I sat in the parking lot of the uhaul store. I chose the same location I was currently at and it stated there were several trucks available. I picked the truck I needed and reserved it. I went back into the store 5 minutes later and told them I had a reservation and left with a truck. Horrible customer service. How can I be told they have no trucks available to rent, only to rent one on the website while sitting in their parking lot 5 minutes later. I will not be recommending this location because the staff dont seem to want your business and only want to rely on reservations through their website. They had no problem taking my money though.

Check in process took too long. Upon return waited in line for 20 minutes only to overhear an employee ask if there were any drop offs to which ended my wait in line. If I was told I could just return the key (Dropbox) & leave & that a receipt would be sent to me while I checked in, that would have been ideal. Overall I will be back.

Literally the worst move experience I've ever had. I went to pick up my truck rental on Friday evening, the online reservation didn't work. I ended up spending 2 hours sitting in the parking g lot with customer service who ended up telling me they couldn't help me and then hung up on me after putting me on gold for 30 minutes. I then had to return at 7 am the next morning to get the truck. I also got movers through uhaul. Although my first movers were fast, they scolded me on the way I packed my dressers and by the end of the 2 hours I paid for, it looked like they started to threw my things into the truck. They also left without finishing which left my husband and I spending an hour finishing. My next set of movers to unload was not any better. They were very nice but I ended up having to unload the majority of the truck myself into storage. In the 2 hours we hired them, barely half of the truck was unloaded. We ended up asking them to leave because we were doing everything ourselves. I wouldn't been better off not hiring movers, and just asking family and friends to help with how things turned out. I spent money for help, and didn't get it. I am highly disappointed with the entire experience I had and honestly wish I never wasted my money.

When I went to turn in my uhaul there was nobody attending the desk for over 20 minutes I sat in line alone with another lady. The truck was dirty and smelled of cigs luckily I didn’t get blamed for it, but I don’t see how I would seeing as how they clearly don’t check them after use.

I think more staff would help. It’s kinda got backed up while I was there and one of the employees I think may have been in training so he was a little slow. The location is great though and very well maintained. Mr. Terry Woods was excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate me and assist me with anything I needed or questions I had. Good man!

As Jerry Seinfeld stated "You know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to keep the reservation'. Got there at 7:30 am to pick u a trailer. None available. Was given to a person that got there at 7. HI had a Guaranteed Reservation. Had to wait till 1 pm. When I returned it, all computers were down and they could not check it in. Big traffic jam of people trying to return trucks/trailers. My 2 hour job became an 8 hour Cluster****.

You need more employees at busy times. There were a lot of people waiting. When someone had to leave counter to help a customer the counter was not maned. I needed a storage unite and the unite I was assigned had a lock and stuff inside of it. There was a mistake of some kind and it showed empty.

I'm not sure if you could do anything to help. The amount of customer traffic was tremendous and the staff handled it well.

Rental process was easy, but once we started loading the pickup we realized that there was an excessive amount of dark oil or grease on the bed. The cab of the truck had a foul odor. The trailer unfortunately had lots of dirt in it. Otherwise all of the equipment functioned well. We had to use the after hours drop off, and the process online was quite and simple. We had a huge problem was that process since the key fob for the truck did not fit in the return box. On the phone with customer service for 45 minutes and they helped us with a security box. During that time they had us search around the building for a security box we never found. Overall I would reconsider using the service.

Vehicle would not start and the windows were frosted over. Had to go thru process for new vehicle which delayed rental and windows were frosted over. When I returned the vehicle, the customer service agent tried to blame me for damage which was existing on the side of the truck. Good think I had already paid for insurance or this would have been an issue.

The pickup truck bed was covered in motor oil. I couldn't even use it except to pull the trailer I rented. When I returned the truck there was very little concern. They offer a small discount of my total bill. My simple 2hr 30 mile move turned into a 4 hr multiple trip aggravation. Not happy at all.

You advertise renting uhaul on any mobile device but the bottom line it's only to hold the uhaul as an deposit and charge again on your pickup date.... Without refunding the deposit

When we picked up I showed them my reservation, the person checking n was nervous and the guy believe he was a manager was mean to her in front of us regardless if she was right or wrong. The guy was also not nice to me, he was rude and said it was my mistake even though I had the reservation and tried to show him. In the end I will NEVER rent from them and Never recommend. I feel as though they didn’t like women. you Could tell the girl had been crying, I wouldn’t work there just because of the way he treated her.

This place was a madhouse. I had no clue where to park my truck, there was a huge line of cars and trucks everywhere. The parking lot was crazy along with inside of the store. I just ended up parking the truck randomly hoping it was right because there were no directions. The area where people were cleaning uhauls was blocking the way to get around the building. It was an awful experience. I will NEVER recommend a person to use this facility as a drop off location.

I left my key locked inside the truck. We call the road side assistance and the stated that within 45 minutes the person would arrive. This third party who took the call should be investigated. Not only did he arrived long after the 45 minutes, when he arrived he asked that I pay him $50.00. I responded to him that the services was covered by road side assistance. When I went to sign I asked to see what I was signing and he stated “do you really want to read what you’re signing?” Then he asked me if I was a U-Haul employee.

Due to heavy rain and a leak in the roof there was some water damage to some of my things. I filed a claim but the employees at U-Haul was great about the situation

one of the female employees told me I could not rent the tow dolly, that it would not process the request and suggested I needed a car transporter! I filled it out online and the tow dolly was allowed, I called the call center and the customer service agent process the tow dolly as well. I own a huge truck! I was not too thrill that the female employee tried to convince me that only a car transporter was rated for my needs.

The process to pick up something you already online is far too long. Whether you wait for a person or do it online there are just too many steps. Same for the return process.

I was charged a $25 cleaning fee with no explanation and I know the truck was clean when it was returned. I won’t be returning using Uhaul again. A week earlier I was charged $43 extra dollars for a fee that shouldn’t have been charged. My truck was returned with the right level of fuel and it took two days to refund the money. Not happy and I feel Uhaul takes advantage of their customers.

Don't expect a customer to travel 15 miles to pick up a truck reserved for a location that is a 2 mile drive. Don't change the pick up time multiple times. Don't tell the customer you've been trying to call them when there is no record of any missed calls on the customer's phone. There's a male employee named Terry who deserves a rating of 5; however, overall, i was not impressed with the service that should have been provided but wasn't provided by other employees. My reservation was to pick up equipment at a specific location. Don't expect me or any other customer to drive/travel 15 miles to get half of the reserved equipment. That is a job for a Uhaul employee. When i finally got to pick up the equipment, there was a customer on the phone complaining speaking loudly enough for all to hear. When she got off the phone, the employee should have apologized to the woman in my opinion. Instead the employee seemed unconcerned about the woman's complaint/dissatisfaction/concerns.

Working a 9-5 the hours didn’t allow for me to talk to someone in person during the week. Forcing you to visit on weekends. Also being allowed to pay by phone but not cancel by phone is ridiculous.
