The uhaul wasn't ready at the first place and they made no effort to get me into a vehicle, just sent me to this place which was fine but the lady told me I had to go back to the original place to get my $50 refund which I did and they couldn't give it me and told me to call the 800 number. Staff was aghast by how the pick up location installed the trailer. "Most unsafe thing I have ever seen" said one of them. They recognized the problem instantly, along with the easy fix. They told us we were lucky to arrive without any major issue. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.BEN W.

All was well until the return. The man at the desk upon return gave me a sheet showing how much gas (in gallons) I needed to replace. My helper guy went to the gas station and returned as instructed. Upon checkin, apparently by the manager, he came in and told me the amt of gas was incorrect and I was short. Therefore, he would charge some exhorbitant per gallon price. I showed him the 'gallons required' sheet; he said I read it wrong. I told him the front desk guy stated ... The Mgr was unrelenting. I told him I would go again for gas if he was hell bent on winning a war and didn't mind losing a customer, goodwill, and online reviews. He was. The desk guy stated to me he had indeed told me as I said, and apologized. My helper left again for more gas. Who hires people like this? This guy needs some common sense and business acumen training.Joyce M.
1.Slef-pick process sucks. Your app was asking my passport, company contact, or friend verification. I was picking up on Saturday, where do you think I can find my company to pick your phone? im outside home and moving, do you think I should carry my passport while picking up a U-haul? or do you think I should have a friend always ready to help me verify U-haul call on Sarturday? or should I carry my property rental agreement with me? This is non-sense process. You guys need to improve it . or at least ask me to prepare the documents when booking the van. This U-haul experience will be my last.YUANDONG X.

Had to have road side assistance replace 2 tires, should have been taken care of before pick up. Truck pulled to the right even after adjustment and tires. Tires were not properly inflated. The gal was very helpful in trying to make it right but there were no other trucks in my size available so made traveling across the us difficult. There is still allot of confusion between the national call center and the local California U-Haul rental centers. I rented storage space B2052 for between 7 & 8 years typically paying at least a year in advance. In addition I've rented numerous U-Haul trucks and trailers over the years. On Monday 10/1 I checked out of my unit and was told that the difference in October paid rent ($77.41) would not be refunded. There was no manager available and since I was on my way to PA I had no time to argue with the personnel on site. The site manager had told me in the past when prepaying that if I moved out the balance would be refunded. This is completely unacceptable even if I hadn't been such a good customer over the years. Picking up a vehicle with 1/8 tank of gas was frustrating but worse when at the gas station multiple fuel pumps wouldn't work and would stop pumping repeatedly. It took 25 mins to add 16 gallons of gas. Something is wrong with the gas filler tube in the rental truck. I shared this difficulty upon return.Duncan S.

Check in process was cumbersome and took more than 20 mins. Requirement for having 3 phone numbers for an outstation customer was very cumbersome. Good to notify customers in advance that they need additional documentation. For customers driving a UHaul for the first time, would be good to give a walk through of the truck for driving.BISWADEEP N.

The customer service representatives were very helpful and the facility is nice. I would definitely come back to this location. Lastly, my car was damaged when pulling it off of the trailer. If I had known that the dolly wasn't compatible I would have found another option to transport my car. The trailer ripped off a large chunk of the plastic that protects the bottom of the car under the engine compartment. Not to the fault of this location but its going to cost me more to fix it than the Uhaul itself.DYLAN H.
