I reserved a 14 ft truck on line for 24 hrs. When I arrived the man told me that I could only have the truck for a few hours. Very disgruntled as I had plans for the 14 ft truck. I ended up with a 10 ft truck which did NOT work very well with my cargo. Ugh!!!Rhonda H.

Have the trucks at the right pick up location. Took us 4 hours to pick up trucks that were supposed to be picked up 15 minutes away from the house. Have both of the bills the same, as both were picked up and dropped off at the same location. The service person was not pleasant at all. Never again !!!Nancy L.
Picking up the truck on a Sunday morning was slow because there was only one person working. I'm not sure if that was an intentional staffing decision but only having one person on at a time is not a good idea especially since the employee was performing tasks with injury potential such as mounting trailers. I had trouble returning the vehicle online or through the app. I could not get help whatsoever. This process is terrible. Customer service took forever to respond. I spent over 30 minutes in the parking lot trying to complete the return process online.Joseph H.

They had no idea what to do for the return of the trailer. I was just billed for returning the trailer late when I returned it early. I have pictures of the dropped off trailer with timestamps and geo-location tag. This is extremely frustrating.Junaid E.

This comment is for U-Haul in general: customers should not be penalized for returning a truck because the gas level is barely off from its original amount. It is not like you give a discount when someone returns a truck with extra gas in it, so you should be a little lenient with the gas level. I have used U-haul many times over many years and have always returned my trucks with extra gas and I felt kind of slighted to be penalized when I was off by two gallons. Everything else was great, but that one things really bothered me.Denise H.

Made a â€œtruck shareâ€ reservation since the time was able to be earlier then the conventional but still could not pick the truck up until the store opened. The truck was dirty and marked as such on the customer pick up check list, when returning the truck I marked it was dirty and now the company is trying to charge me to clean it! The online process to check in is poorly designed. In 28 degree weather, I had to go through a lengthy online check-in process with verification steps that were not clearly stated in advance. I was asked to go find my vehicle (at the end of the lot) only to have to return to the store to retrieve the key. This needs to be updated with your customers in mind.Gerardo T.

My contact info was incorrect in the system and the employee working today said I could not update my info so it was correct. Also, the employee working Sunday told me someone else with the same name as me came an picked up my reserved truck before I got there, but eventually worked things out by making some calls. The Customer service was very poor at this location for both my pick up and drop off. I would not recommend this location to others.Shawn K.

I highly recommends this "full service" location as a customer. I changed locations from a smaller facility that had limited operating hours and limited trucks !!!! ---------------------------------------------- When people call into the 800 number , a closer smaller facility limitations should be noted. Bigger facilities should be identified , as an option, , in case the truck size or other customer needs change !!JOHN A.
I was overcharged for an 18 mile, two hour rental (121.00). Although, the key tag said there was 1/8 of a tank of gas, the clerk said there was 1/4. She overestimated the mileage to 26 miles. Central U-Haul company concurred with the 18 mile distance. Receipt for $10. gas took the tank back to above 1/8. Clerk was disrespectful, non-truthful, and unfair.Cheryl B.

I was told the storage unit was able to be accessed from 5am-10pm. I went at 9pm to unload the truck; however, the gate access key fob I was given did not work. I then proceeded to call the after hours number listed on the gate. No one answered nor did they call me back. This is the second time in one week (different location) where I’ve had an issue with Uhaul. I thought switching locations would help, but it didn’t. For the first 2 years i kept complaining that i could barely get into my unit because it was so difficult to roll the door up...3 times i went to the office or called the office from outside my unit to please come and open my door...all 3 times i waited over a half hours after i asked for someone to help...2 of those times i was berated and treated as if i was an obstinate child (I'm 66 and was very respectful) the 3rd time after they couldn't get the door open they told me they would make an appointment for it to get fixed...they neglected to tell me i would need to be there and i was to call later to see when. A repair person was available...so 2 months later i went to the office and was told i needed to be there. Finally a repair person showed up and asked me how long my door was this bad..i replied since i moved in...he was a new repair person,who was unbelievably nice,sweet and talented (so unlike 2 other U-Haul employees)and fixed my door in 35 minutes...he was appalled that i dealt with this for over 2 years...i was previously told this is how these doors are, you need some elbow grease...I'm disabled and have limited use of my "elbows" ...however after the door was fixed i could open it all by myself...so over the years i had 2 UHaul employees and mr fix-it who was wonderful...all the others shouldn't have a costumer oriented job...other then coming to place stuff into the unit or emptying the unit i probably only visited the unit 20 times in the years that i had it...so i don't think this UHaul faired well as a customer oriented business who's employees are told to be respectful of their long term customer's. ..DIANE M. | Overall Experience
