The office staff told me three times I needed to have the van back by 1:00pm. Not even halfway through my 4 hour time that I paid for they called to make sure that I would bring it back by 1:00pm which was the end of my reserved time. I didn't appreciate the excessive reminders. The reason I was given for the phone call was that â€œpeople steal their equipmentâ€. I won't be using this location to rent from in the future.Maren T.

I was charged for a dolly that wasn't used in the truck. I had ordered one but didn't take it since there was one already in the truck. I told the guy when checking truck back in that we didn't use the dolly and he didn't take it off the invoiceSHEILA M.

20 Ft truck very unstable on the highway. It was very difficult to keep it in center of the lane and had to grab the steering wheel very firmly with both the hands and had to constant sight on the road.There is something definitely wrong in truck's wheel alignment.Ashok P.

The workers at the time I picked up the truck were very rude and disrespectful. At first they told me they had the truck to rent, then they told me I needed to have it back by 3:00 the next day. They told me I could pick it up on Friday 10/23/20 by 4:00, which I did. Then at 7:28 pm that night I received a call from them wanting me to have the truck back by 8:00 am in the morning. Something about a customer refusing to bring a truck back and so they needed the one I had. I'm sorry but I feel I was harassed and then overcharged. Instead of being able to have it back at the original time we talked about, they said they wanted it back no later than 1:00. I will never use U -haul again nor will I give them a good recommendation to family and friends. instead of paying a reasonable price for local moving just a few miles I was charged over $100.00. That's insane, especially for the treatment I received. I'm sorry if anyone else is treated as I was.JANET L.
The process seems to take a long time. I don't know if it's the software they use or what. But it does seem like you are there a long time. Other than that, I'm completely happy with it. Wouldn't mind a rewards program of some sort for frequent renters!DEBRA L.
Given our experience with yesterday's uhaul rental, we were pleased with the service at 16th AVE SW and completely disgusted with the service at the uhaul on 32nd ST NE. On a day that was critical for our moving plans, thank GOD the folks at 16th AVE SW had a cancellation that could accommodate our reservation. Very stressful experience!!!!THOMAS D.

The temperature controlled unit was below 40 and the gate ( not even attached) and doors were unlocked, the nasty lady behind the counter said it wasn't going to be fixed in 3-4 days? After renting the vehicle and receiving physical paperwork saying the gas tank was all the way full. Upon returning the vehicle I went to replaced the gas I had used. After â€œfilling upâ€ I realized I had been told the tank was â€œfullâ€ when I signed the paperwork in the beginning but in reality the gas tank was not full when I took the vehicle off the property. Upon returning the vehicle I tried to explain my concern to the attendant checking me out and she said if I didn't take a picture of the fuel level prior to taking the vehicle off the property then it was my fault. Even though I received OFFICIAL SIGNED paperwork stating the vehicle I had rented was FULL. She continued to laugh and tell me sorry it's not her problem she can't do anything about it. So I paid an extra $20 for gas that I should not have been responsible for with a $20 rental with less than 20 miles total upon return. Not to mention I was called by U-Haul customer service at a very late time one evening prior to the rental date and the lady told me there was a truck only available at a location 12 miles from my house instead of the location 2 miles from my house where I had originally placed the reservation. While leaving to the SW side location I had passed the location near my residence and there were plenty of the same trucks sitting in the lot. As well as when I returned home, the same trucks where still in the same exact spot. I feel cheated out of my money and went through so much unreasonable work and wasted time just to get a truck for a few hours. My last experience with uhaul prior to this one was not something I enjoyed and ended up having to leave a bad review. With this experience this time, I am very upset with the company and am sorry to say I will not be willing to rent anything from uhaul again.NICHOLAS S.

Have wheel chokes by the canopy for after hours returns of trailers, I had to hunt one down from down the hill and I had to have one because the trailer return was on an incline, two other trailers ahead under the canopy. Otherwise great equipment, pulled smooth and U-haul makes great trailers.David G.

in the few months that I had my storage facility I had a 65 inch smart TV and a boxer taken out of my unit they claim to be the number one in security even stated that I shouldn't need any extra insurance when I filled out that the application to get the unit and yet had to grainy footage to even see who had taken my television on top of that I moved out in July having made my July payment they knew and didn't put anything down got a hold of me in August where I told them that I had moved out a month prior in the locket been off and proceeded to tell me things were fine that they would get it documented only to be really gotten hold of in September with the same issue when saying it for the third time I received an email stating that I was trying to shirk my bill on to someone else which is completely false just letting them know for people that did their their checks and drive-thrus of the facility should have seen that the lock was off let alone the numerous times that should have been documented now I'm to be charged a cleaning fee and I don't even know what because they don't give you any numbers figures or dates I would never recommend your facility to anyone else every time I had to go into the office to make a payment or rent a U-Haul which I also did two times it took forever ridiculous never again!tanya m. | Overall Experience

We left due to the rise in cost. It simply became more affordable for a shed. One other note, the truck rental operations often impede access to the storage, Perhaps by switching the large truck and trailer parking it would keep the path open?
