smooth as silk to get my trailer and return ,my light fixture did not accept the 4 prong plug so the attendant lent me her adapter saving me 20 dollars, thanks again

Would have been easier for me living in Marion IA to be able to pick up UHAUL Van in Marion instead of paying $35.00 to have a Cab drive me to Cedar Rapids Iowa on the SW side. Even the Cab driver asked "Isn't there a place in Marion to pick up a UHAUL Van in Marion?" I was told over the phone that Quinn doesn't own any Vans for rent. I could have walked from my house to Quinn for a Van pickup. The workers at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Cedar Rapids were very professional and I would do business with them again. I had no trouble with the Van which was very clean and ready to go when I arrived. Price was more reasonable than other places I checked into which would have cost way more. Now to figure out how to get out to 1550 16th Ave SW Cedar Rapids IA without taking a cab!!!!

There was a shortage of help when we went to pick it up. Only 1 worker and they needed at least 2. Also the computer was not working right, it was going very slow so some people had to wait a very long time! The worker was a nice guy and a hard worker though

Get the computer, working better and more help. Took 45 minutes to get what I came in for. Called 3 days ahead and had it all set up.

I ordered my truck a few days before my move. About a half hour before pick up time I received an e-mail with a different pick up location. So, I went to the original pick up location inquiring why my pick up location had changed. He said he did not have the tuck and that’s why my location changed. So, I went to the new location. The desk clerk was confused as to why I was sent there as he did not have the truck. He then called corporate and they had him send me back to the original pick up location as they had a smaller truck available. The small truck worked, but I had to make twice a many trips which in turn cost me more because I had accumulated more miles and used more gas. All in all, I got moved but I lost two hours due to all of the confusion and finished my move in the rain. So, it was not a good experience.

I liked it because i ran into a little mix up with the lady on the phone when i got my e-mail there was mistakes but when i went it the next morning they fixed issue with no problem.

Have corporate office be intelligent enough NOT to updated the computer on a busy Saturday! DO IT AT NIGHT when no one is using the system! I waited 1.5 hrs to rent a van. It was a tremendous hardship on me and the employee. Wise up.

Justin working the counter today was having technical issues with things moving slowly, but was very friendly the whole process and made it as painless as possible! Only complaint was that the truck reeked of cigarettes.

Verbally tell customers about the after hours return policy where you have to pay U-Haul to do their job if you don't self check your vehicle back in. it will cost you $20. This is a bull Shit charge. We have to pay through the nose for every thing else to get a truck now we have to pay you for doing your jobs lazy lazy lazy!

Have UHaul people at west Dell mall location not tell you the place on 16rh ave does not have any motor cycle trailers, and tey to charge you 16.00 for insurance when I already knew it was half of that, and that is why I told them to forget it I was going else where, and drove over to 16th ave, and they had 3 motorcycle trailers there.

The foundation of my 10x10 unit CRACKED and covered my property in thick dust and dirt. UHaul HQ gave no compensation at all. Local staff were helpful, did what they could and were always friendly.

It's a great place to do with. My ONLY issue was the mice. Make sure you have totes and sealed and covered furniture. They chewed through our things and droppings were everywhere. Beware of MICE!!!

I would recommend this location to anyone who needs a place to store their belongings. The only thing I don't like is the fact that they could remove a lock for you if you were to loose your keys.

Office personnel: very friendly and helpful. Unit: very clean. Property/ facility: clean and well kept up. Fencing, gates and many cameras: make me feel this is a safe place to keep my belongings

Overall a very good place. Longer summer hours would be nice. My one complaint is the placement of the exit swipe key box, it can't be accessed from your vehicle. Very secure and well maintained.

To access my unit outside of 7a-7p I would have to pay another $10 for 24hr access. I don't need 24 hour access, but may need access 7p-10p. I also had to pay $11 for a lame round lock per U-Haul.
