My ubox was picked up on Jun 14th, but did not get ship until the end of June. I tried to contact uhaul and ask about when is my box going to be shipped and is it still going to be arrive on time. But never really get accurate ship date. I was told it will still arrive on time but which is completely fault. My boxes was almost a week late. Which made so much issues and messed up all my following plans since this was a cross country move. Also the pick up location at Jamaica NY is so much worse. I was told box will be there and ready to pick, but my mover showed up then Uhual staffs realized it wasn't arrived. The second time, when my mover tried to pick up the boxes, I call the store a day prior and the same day morning to give them a head up about my mover coming in. So they can get boxes ready and stop wasting time. Which did not happen, I ask the manager what was going on, the manager start give me this attitude about why I was questioning them. Anyway this was worst experience ever, I read some reviews online about uhual and now I can fully understand. The Jamaica store is out of control.Chao P.

What a mess this order was! I called both Uhaul and Moving Help to confirm this move multiple times. I also increased my Ubox order from 3 boxes to 5 weeks in advance via phone. On the day of the move, Our Moving Help was supposed to arrive from 8-11am (confirmed via text). As of 4pm, they were still on another job. When they went to pick up the boxes, the order was only for the original 3, not the additional 2 boxes requested. The Uhaul agent at the Carmel Valley location somehow cancelled our Moving Help order in the process of trying to figure out the box discrepancy. Moving Help ended up leaving without the boxes and stopped responding to us. We didn't get a call from management at the Uhaul location until the next day (after we already needed to be out of our place) and the manager was only able to offer â€œsorry- in my 12 years I've never seen this happen beforeâ€. Uhaul and Moving Help both left our family in a very bad situation and I will never use or recommend them in the future.ashley K.

Morning crews (2 young girls) that help me check out the equipment was not very personable or friendly. When I did return the equipment (2 older gentle men)though was super friendly and attentive. Because them I will 100% recommend the location to friends and family!TAMMY B.

They first tried to give us a truck with less than a quarter of gas, then they gave us a different truck. When I did the review of pictures I had to disagree and upload new pictures to show the huge scratches on both sides of the truck. Then I had originally said I'd be going probably over 150 but I ended up not going nearly that far and I think I still got charged extra for itDAVID W.

I was called two days prior to confirm the address and equipment I wanted to rent. The day before, I was called because the location or the equipment wouldn't be available. I had to drive an hour away to get the equipment and six hours after my original pick up time. To make this right, UHaul should have either transfered the equipment to my preferred location OR offered a % off the final price. Other than that, it was average.KYLE H.
I didn't find the website to be flexible after creating my order. For example, once I chose truck delivery I couldn't edit that to self-delivery. Also, I did a gypsy moth checklist (for CA) three times and it never indicated complete.john E.
