Initially there was so much confusion about which facilty the u box would be available n artive at. I had to personally go to the u haul store to confirm.no one picks up the direct #@ the location. When renting an additional truck from naples to fort myers for unloading n pick up, the online app did not work.the computer system were terrible n in great need of upgrades.it took almost an hour, while others waited for our problem to be solved, bf the service person was able to straighten out the computer glitch about the rental truck pick up details, and then cancelled the online - a mess. Your workers are frustrated bc the computer programs u use are awful.spend money here, it saves time n the staff will benefit.in addirion, a out 1/3 of my boxes were water-logged.luckily they were mostly clothes n kitchen items, which I could wash.i did have to put in a claim for a tabletop,it was tripled wrapped but still had water damage.after reading the reviews for the ins company, I wasn't hopeful.however, i was surprised when they settled my claim.i have yet to receive the check but in all fairness it is still in transit. In summary, you need to upgrade computer systems, waterproof the u boxes, n allow phone calls to go directly to locations, where someone actually picks up the phone.LIsa R.

Moving Help in Denver to unload was HORRIBLE. MUV Relo sent only one of my three U Boxes. Two men, one of which argued with me, then with property manager about where to park. Then while bringing in furniture told me they would bring 2nd U Box same day but had NO IDEA when the third would be scheduled. I said I would release the pay code once the 3rd box was delivered and he went ballistic. Even with Moving Help customer service on the line with me, the man kept threatening to call the police because I had "stolen" the delivered furniture if I did not pay him immediately. Refused to leave my apartment. Finally left but took my sofa with them so did not even finish delivery of one box. Customer service set up new delivery of 2 remaining boxes as well as the sofa, but they paid MUV Relo for delivery of the one box. Inexcuseable!Margaret M.

First, you should be convicted of deceptive advertising. Although you have huge signs advertising $89 a month units, you don't actually have any for rent and there is a wait list so you won't have any to rent for the near future. When I rented, I had to take the bigger size for $249 a month (despite your bait and switch ads). The person who rented to me did not explain the card or how to swipe in and swipe out so I had no idea it would alarm if I entered my unit without swiping. While I was waiting, several units alarmed (according to the board) yet no one investigated and when I asked, they said it was common for people to accidentally alarm so they don't pay any attention. How is that secure? Somehow, I was charged an extra month for my unit and they couldn't tell me why and said there was no refund available. The aisles in the place are super overcrowded, making it dangerous to drive to the unit. Big boxes are perched precariously, looking like they will fall. The dumpsters were always overflowing, making the place look filthy and unsanitary. There is not enough help. I bought wardrobe boxes but they did not tell me I needed the pole and I had to make another trip back to get them. I hope I never have to move ever again, but if I do I will undoubtedly use U-Haul. My experience with U-Haul has been incredibly awesome from start to finish. From the Peoria office dropping off, picking up, and storing my U-Boxes to travel, storage, and dropping of my U-Boxes by the North Fort Myers facility I could not have been happier. The cost was reasonable and my stuff arrived in the same shape it was shipped in. Additionally, the customer service experience was fantastic. Thank you very much U-Haul for everything!!!!Timothy J.

Only one person working with many people in line at pick up. A cargo van was full of shattered glass in the back of the cargo area. So then we had to wait again for that to be cleaned out. Drop off was a nightmare there were so many vehicles dropping off at the same time and one poor kid didn't even have a uniform shirt on so I didn't even know he worked there was trying to get a trailer out with all of the returns in the way. You should be ashamed. Rude employees, no manager to talk to. The parking lot was so bad you couldn't move through it. Total chaos. Nobody to help us when we arrived for 20 minutes. I waited 15 minutes to get my rental when I was in the store. 4 different employees walked by me without even asking if I needed help. I understand they may not been able to check me in, but couldn't at least have paged someone? And then I got into my rentalâ€¦it was very clean but it was so filthy on the outside I wanted to write â€œwash meâ€ in the dirt. I also waited 15 minutes to return my vehicle. I even checked inside and no employees were even in the store. Finally someone came. That employee did everything well but never even greeted me or asked if there were any issues with the vehicle. This used to be a great store. The more expansions you do, the worse the service. I know it is hard to get employees but my times in the store were in the middle of the day. Getting bigger is great, doing it poorly sucks and your customers get the burden.Mark M.

First the air conditioning in the truck that I rented that was almost a 1,000 blew hot and cold air mostly hot air. It would blow cold air and then back to hot air. 19 hours of this almost 1400 miles. The air worked fine when I picked the truck up but when I left for Chicago the next morning it was blowing hot air. It blew hot air for almost 400 miles before it started to blow cool air but it didn't last long before it went back to blowing hot airCALVIN T.

When our Ubox arrived, it looked like it had been picked up and dropped without any care. The steel frame and bearings around the bottom are all warped, the latches that kept the door shut looked like it was hammered shut and I watched as they had to be pried open by the 3rd party moving company, and all of our boxes and things were in shambles and crushed. Ubox promised a "Gentle Ride" specifically and it got anything but that.Naomi D.

Honestly what a mess ! Got a storage online went to go see it and wow. Theres barely anywhere to drive through to access the unit theres wooden crates, trucks, trailer everything absolutely everywhere blocking any potential access to making it easy and nice. The poor staff... there was only two of them working and just completely overwhelmed with the amount of customers they have to wait on. They both did a great job and both very very very nice but they need help two people for this location is in no way working. I rented and moved out the same day because the whole place is so chaotic. Great staff but you might loose them if this is how they have to work everyday. The people working there were very friendly and fast. The only thing that we were unhappy about was that we didn't know that the storage unit was inside of a building, down 2 halls, and had no air condition. So, we were not prepared for the experience of trying to put everything into the unit. My husband almost had a heartattack. Also, They didn't really explain how much could fit in the unit and ours was way to small which made it more difficult. The U-Haul people in the yard when I drove up to off-load my truck were uniformly rude and unhelpful. For instance, when I asked one man how to get to my storage unit when the only apparent way was clearly blocked by parked cubes, he said "How the ... do I know?" The facility and employees were very nice but the set-up of the facility is HORRIBLE. Access to many of the units is through one small corridor that you have to drive into and one end was completely blocked off with storage pods so you can not leave without turning around three-point-turn style. If people are unloading, you are limited in your ability to do a turn-around and whatever you do DO NOT DRIVE A TOW-BEHIND trailer into the area unless you feel confident that you can back it up around cars and storage pods because there is no other way to get out.ALISON D. | First Impressions

The woman I worked with was funny and nice but she didn't give me enough information like how to disarm the storage unit. I set the alarm off 5 times trying to figure out how to disarm. Which was highly frustrating especially when the alarm is a screeching noise. I had to run through the facility back and forth wondering why it kept ringing. And I still do not know how I turned of the alarm. I'm worried for the next time I go for it to happen again so I'm going during open hours but I believe there should be a staff worker round the clock to watch cameras and help.ANDREA I. | First Impressions

The only issue was trying to load everything on the last day - as there is such limited space and there were several of the boxes on each side and another individual taking up much of one side trying to either load or unload that it was almost impossible to maneuver. The same time there were several semis trying to unload and tempers were flying from various customers. The only problem that we had is there was no one to ANSWER PHONES I CALLED 36 TIMES 5 AND 6 TIMES A DAY TO CANCEL MY STORAGE UNIT FOR OVER A WEEK. I was very disappointed i was treated very poorly at Uhaul in North Fort Meyers. ACROSS from Shell factory. Memorial day her name was Allishe not sure. She told me no storage units then I called the 1 800 number. She got me one same location was very friendly. Our air didn't work she told me not her problem. Very rude never go there again. We had our items stored from GA and it was there for 6 months until I finally offloaded in FL. The only negative I found is that the place is too small and compact. The facility and people were nice. However, your sales team is not fully trained on promotions OR your promotions are misleading. Advertising Free Storage after renting a trailer was wonderful idea. However it should have said Storage UNIT! Trying to clear this up lead me to 140 minutes on hold on the phone talking to four different people until my charge was refunded. Taking over two hours ion hold is unacceptable. But I thank you for refunding our storage fee at U-haul corporate. Also, although we had a reservation number, the facility said they had no reservation. Had to beg for a spot. How can this be? You take a reservation , no problem. But you can't HOLD the reservation. The covered area over the entrance to the storage facility was very helpful, especially unloading a truck on a rainy day. One area you could improve, the parking lot and access roads were very crowded with trucks and trailers which makes it challenging to drive a truck around your facility.James R. | First Impressions

My reservation was lost and the young man checking me in was not trained well in what he was being asked to do. After going through the reservation process a week earlier I had to do it again and the attendant had trouble typing and asked me the same questions over and over again. The computeR system seemed clumsy to use and attendant couldn't type very well. I was very frustrated from this circumstance. Then we were not given very good instructions on which card reader you use at the entrance to the facility. Ther are four card readers to use yet only one will work and there was nothing that helped you understand which one to use. It seems to me that the individual filling out the paperwork should take you to the storage room to make sure that all is workding correctly. The whole heck in process was laborious, time consuming and wrought with errors.david e. | First Impressions
