Everything went well except the after hours check in with the uhaul.com/share app. It FAILS on iOS devices when it tries to determine the location on it's own so that needs to be removed. I could not complete the check in because of that!Paul B.

The cab of the truck had not been cleaned and neither had the interior of the back been swept out. I also was surprised that the gas tank was just 1/4 of the way full. Normally when I rent vehicles the gas tank is full and you return it with a full gas tank. It's challenging to return a vehicle with 1/4 of a tank of gas. Everything was fine other than that.MARY B.

Our initial attempt at picking up the 1st uhaul trailer in InverGrove Heights was HORRIBLE! The issues: rental agent could pull up the contract Try to charge 2.5 x price In trying to resolve that issue was told we could not have the trailer! The details: We arrived at 1:00 p.m. We spent almost 2hrs. And left with no trailer. Initially the problem was the rental price was 2.5x what I had prepaid at 10:30a.m. (we rented a 5x8 but none were available so we were getting a 6x12)The rental place couldn't retrieve our contract, so input info for 6x12 and I refused to pay 2.5 times the agreed upon price. Thus began the pH calls. I still couldn't get anyone to see/agree to the original rental fee , blankets and taxes that came to $332 which I had pd at 10:30 a.m.! The MN rep said the best she could do was $408 (did not include blankets). While on the pH trying to find some one who could help with this issue, the MN rep called the rental place and got told 'don't rent them that trailer under any circumstances.' We asked why, no one knew. It took another hour before learning it was because of repair s needed on it. Very poor communication! This info should have been in the system and known by every uhaul rep we spoke to starting with the scheduler who I spoke with at 7:30 a.m. I spent 5 hrs dealing with the problem because of a problem with uhaul s system or poorly trained reps! As to the original cost, no one on the pH. Could help. The only silver lining in this ordeal was when I went to Brooklyn Park the next day, they had the original rental fee and it was a easy, hassle free rental process.Amy D.

You need to approve your gas policy I had a quarter tank of gas or less when I rented that car I came back with probably a full tank of gas and I was charged almost 100 bucks that's ridiculous I don't care what the policy isjoseph G.

Really like the way they coordinated the labor helpers on both ends of the move. Great job by all. ONLY thing I did NOT like was the minimum 2hr labor charge for a 10 minute pickup job and a 30 minute unload job. They got paid well for their time. But I do understand we have to make it worth their while.Steven J.

I rented a truck on January 1st 2022. The weather was in the negatives all day and got worse at night. I returned the vehicle at 645pm. I was told I was suppose to wait in the truck because there was another vehicle in front of me. I then said I had been moving all day in the cold and I was not going to sit in this cold truck and wait to get checked in. I said I'd wait inside and please let me know once you've checked in the truck. I waited inside for about ten minutes. I wasn't told anything so I asked Jason If he could radio the gentleman outside to see If he was done checking in my truck. Jason was very rude and told me to go outside and ask. I explained it's freezing and I noticed all the workers had head sets on, so I assumed they use those to communicate. Jason again was very rude and was reluctant on using the radio to ask the gentleman outside If he was done checking in my truck. I don't know If he was having a bad day, but I feel I didn't deserve to be treated like that. I've been a uhaul customer for years and after this experience I won't be coming back to this location. Lastly I thought I had dropped my debit card while I was inside. So I went to go check but the doors where locked. I tried waving at an employee who was at the front counter and we made eye contact. He gave me a dirty look and tried to wave me off. Again I was just in the building five minutes ago, so It wasn't like he didn't know who I was. He made me wait for over 15 minutes in the cold before I finally was able to speak with a older gentleman and ask If my debit card was on the floor in the entry way where I was standing. It ended up not being there but it took them 3 seconds to look and If they would of answered the door 20 minutes earlier I could of been on my way. Again this was the worst customer service experience I've ever had and I can't believe I was treated like this. Especially since It was below zero outside while all this was happening.Lamar W.

Size of unit change; Pick Up location changed 3x, one as we were on our way to pick up the trailer. Not the fault of this pick up location but Uhaul overall.JEFFERY P.
The location itself was great, the thing that I disliked was when I returned the vehicle after hours. I am 75 years old, It was late, and cold!! I was by myself, and had to get in and out of the vehicle to take pictures and get all of the information that was required to complete check-out. If I didn't do these things, I would be charged $20. Give me a break, what are your employees getting paid to do??? Also, when I have rented in the past, this location always had someone warm the vehicle up, and the snow cleaned off. Not this time!!! Over past sever as l months I have rented 2 storage lockers at your facility and I also very recently rented one of your trucks. Everything is good overall but I have noticed the front desk employees often seem disinterested or not very friendly. As a 40 retiree of a large telecommunications company that worked in customer service exclusively I feel I can evaluate customer service fairly well ! I had the truck for 2 days did not get a chance to move it at all because my place was not ready so I just basically used a truck to load all of my items on there and came to the u-haul to give a storage room to spend the rest of the day unload the truck into Yao storage room and I was charged for 3 days instead of 2 days. Not happy with the service cause I was there on the 3rd day unloading the truck they know they should never charge me for a 3rd day because they knew my situation.TYANNA Y. | First Impressions
