Manager was a little stressed. She was capable but lacked some people skills. She warmed up after a while but did not wear a mask and was generally pretty cold and not very friendly.

RACHELLE H.The lady I dealt with to pick up the trailer was amazing. However when I went to drop it off it wasn't the same experience. I was told to pull up to the gate to un hook it and when I did one of the works pulled through the gate with a trailer and was unhappy I was parked there for a minute. He pulled so close to the front of my car that he almost hit my car and being rude. I hurried into my car to more it and he pulled past me quick. I went inside to check it in because I was unsure what I needed to do since this was my first time renting. Had a wait awhile and the guy that was rude outside came in and asked what I needed. I told him I just needed to check in the trailer. He joked for a moment and I apologize for being In the way a little bit ago and he said you where good but if I would have been in hurry it would have been A different store. This definitely wasn't how I would have liked to been treated as a customer. Especially having to worry about my car almost getting hit by an employee.

BONNIE G.Staff was rude and unprofessional. Instead of approaching me and asking me a question, the gentleman at the desk yelled across the store. Interior of rental smelled stale. Patking/dropoff layout does not allow for efficient vehicle circulation. Staff was not consistent with covid requirements - during pickup I was required to wait outside the ofice for 20 minutes to meet the policy of allowing only one customer inside at a time. However, during drop-off there were multiple customers inside at the same time and were without masks. I am uncertain why they did not have to wait, but I did. The rental process was extremely cumbersome and required providing multiple phone numbers and contacts. This was my first time using U-Haul and it will also be my last. I would much rather pay more and recive a professional and courteous service.

TONY H.Turned in the truck; the mobile app for checking didn't work, so I called the next morning to confirm there was no problem, and was told there wasn't. Checked my credit card statement this morning only to find I'd been charged an extra $198 m. Called to ask why and was told there was damage. When I questioned it, they transferred me and I was told the notes didn't really specify. So I pressed again and was eventually sent a copy of the receipt, which listed a split in the sidewall and damage to the sidewall. Having asked for photos, they don't show a split to the sidewall, but do show a tiny (less than dine-sized ding), which they are charging us for, despite no walkthrough before picking up the vehicle, and no way for them to show when the damage did or didn't occur. If I hadn't checked my credit card statement, they would have been able to charge us without it ever being questioned. As it is, it looks like I'm stuck paying for minuscule damage to a tire that I didn't damage, but with no real way for me to prove it, as I was never told I needed to check for tiny amounts of existing damage to the vehicle before using g it.

If I had waited till morning , uhaul would have disconnected the trailer, lights, and moved the trailer in place. Instead, I disconnected the trailer, lights, and inspected the trailer(things that uhaul would have done for NO CHARGE the next morning) and was charged $20. I'm not a happy customer.

I had birds nesting in the top of my storage and their nest and droppings would get into my unit. Then the facility became more interested in truck rentals than in storage and within the last two years you could barely get in or out of the facility without dodging Uhaul trucks. Multiple times the entrance and exit would be blocked and you couldn't get in or out of the facility without waiting for a long period of time for them to move trucks and/or trailers around.

There were times I couldn’t get to the entrance for my unit without waiting for an employee to move a UHaul truck. In addition, while I was in my unit (early August), several low flatbed UHaul trailers were left near the back of my car where I couldn’t see them. I backed into the hitch end of one, doing $2,500 of body damage to my car. My opinion - you need to decide whether you want to have a storage unit facility, or a UHaul rental facility. There is not enough room for both. I am not the only renter who feels this way. I overheard several people saying they were done trying to maneuver around the UHaul trucks, and were planning to go elsewhere. This is the SOLE reason why I moved out.

In our 20' U-Haul truck, we couldn't park directly in front of the locker so we had to unload our stuff at the end of the building and carry it all to the locker! Not really "drive up"!

We live in Georgia and brought furniture to our son who lives in Broken Arrow. I emptied the unit well in advance of renewal date. Filled out "application" to vacate online on Aug 8, never got confirmation from BA location. Received bill from BA location, called Uhaul, spent 15 min waiting to talk to a person. And, several calls to the BA location with NO answer, just kicked over to corporate. After conversation with corporate, assured me they sent vacate request to BA location and email. Aug 28, two weeks later I receive a letter from BA location stating I owe one month's rent AND a late fee!!!! Tried to call BA location AGAIN....no answer. Final verdict, had to send my son IN PERSON in get our account settled. I will probably get six more erroneous bills for filling out this review, but they need to get their office management together!
