Turned in the truck; the mobile app for checking didn't work, so I called the next morning to confirm there was no problem, and was told there wasn't. Checked my credit card statement this morning only to find I'd been charged an extra $198 m. Called to ask why and was told there was damage. When I questioned it, they transferred me and I was told the notes didn't really specify. So I pressed again and was eventually sent a copy of the receipt, which listed a split in the sidewall and damage to the sidewall. Having asked for photos, they don't show a split to the sidewall, but do show a tiny (less than dine-sized ding), which they are charging us for, despite no walkthrough before picking up the vehicle, and no way for them to show when the damage did or didn't occur. If I hadn't checked my credit card statement, they would have been able to charge us without it ever being questioned. As it is, it looks like I'm stuck paying for minuscule damage to a tire that I didn't damage, but with no real way for me to prove it, as I was never told I needed to check for tiny amounts of existing damage to the vehicle before using g it.DAVID R.

I was charge an extra $20 for not checking the equipment in on my mobile device. If I had waited till morning , uhaul would have disconnected the trailer, lights, and moved the trailer in place. Instead, I disconnected the trailer, lights, and inspected the trailer(things that uhaul would have done for NO CHARGE the next morning) and was charged $20. I'm not a happy customer.DALE R.

The rental started off with a great experience and then went downhill fairly quickly. I had birds nesting in the top of my storage and their nest and droppings would get into my unit. Then the facility became more interested in truck rentals than in storage and within the last two years you could barely get in or out of the facility without dodging Uhaul trucks. Multiple times the entrance and exit would be blocked and you couldn't get in or out of the facility without waiting for a long period of time for them to move trucks and/or trailers around.AARON A. | Overall Experience
Parking U-Hauls & personal vehicles is a little tough because the lot is small & full of too many trailers & trucks. If you park in front of the building, it's extremely hard to get back out. I had a hard time returning the truck because there was really no place to leave it where it wasn't in the way. My wife tried to stay back out of the way on the entry lane, but had to move to the street because someone needed to pull a trailer through the entry lane. I made a reservation to pick up the truck @ 630am thru the mobile app. The app process was labor-some and kept going round and round without saving my information. The facility lighting was not proper to see the rental number of the truck. The attended that was there at 7 am seemed more interested in the story she was telling her co-worker or on the phone than assisting me/customer who was having difficultly retrieving the key or even pointing out which truck was rented. The employees were petulant and not helpful at all, it seemed like we were ruining their day by making them do their job. I do not remember their names but the woman working was the main issue due to her attitude and the other employee, a man, was lazy. Highly recommend hiring new staff for the morning/day shift on whoever worked on Monday October 12th, because we were definitely not the only customers to receive this type of service that day. Because of all the UHaul rental equipment & trucks, access throughout the facility was extremely difficult. There were times I couldn't get to the entrance for my unit without waiting for an employee to move a UHaul truck. In addition, while I was in my unit (early August), several low flatbed UHaul trailers were left near the back of my car where I couldn't see them. I backed into the hitch end of one, doing $2,500 of body damage to my car. My opinion - you need to decide whether you want to have a storage unit facility, or a UHaul rental facility. There is not enough room for both. I am not the only renter who feels this way. I overheard several people saying they were done trying to maneuver around the UHaul trucks, and were planning to go elsewhere. This is the SOLE reason why I moved out.JANETTE H. | Overall Experience

In our 20' U-Haul truck, we couldn't park directly in front of the locker so we had to unload our stuff at the end of the building and carry it all to the locker! The male that checked us in for the rental on 8/13 at 3pm at the Broken Arrow location was not friendly and raised his voice for me to remove my debit card from the card reader. It seemed that he was pretty miserable or inconvenienced to get us checked in for our truck rental. There was also not enough gas in the tank (about half a tank) for us to make our trip so first thing we had to stop at the gas station so that was a little inconvenient. We drove our uhaul 17 miles total. When we went to fill up, it took over 5 gallons of gas. It had appeared â€œFullâ€ when we picked it up, but clearly it wasn't. Also, parking for this location was a mess. Picking up and dropping off, it was difficult to find a spot for either the regular car or the uhaul. The management staff is horrible. Unfriendly from the start. We had one free month of storage because we rented a one way trailer. We live in Georgia and brought furniture to our son who lives in Broken Arrow. I emptied the unit well in advance of renewal date. Filled out "application" to vacate online on Aug 8, never got confirmation from BA location. Received bill from BA location, called Uhaul, spent 15 min waiting to talk to a person. And, several calls to the BA location with NO answer, just kicked over to corporate. After conversation with corporate, assured me they sent vacate request to BA location and email. Aug 28, two weeks later I receive a letter from BA location stating I owe one month's rent AND a late fee!!!! Tried to call BA location AGAIN....no answer. Final verdict, had to send my son IN PERSON in get our account settled.
