Explain the self check in process. Exhausted and starving we returned the truck after hours and didn't read the directions for returning the truck. Totally my fault but would have known not to drop the key until all other things were completed

Chattanooga location originally didnt submit my request for a pod when I went in on the Saturday before my move. They were nice, but not super helpful and just acted like they didnt know what they were doing. The Portland side was extremely helpful, kind and made the delivery and final stages of using the Pod so much better. Overall, a super great experience.

Trailer blew a tire and my crew were stranded for nearly 3 hours. In addition to that, once the technician showed up, he had to replace another tire to prevent it from blowing down the road because it was in such poor condition. I had to pay my crew extra money for the time they spent on the side of the road. We are a large moving company in Chattanooga that uses a ton of rentals. We will not be sending future business to your company.

The man outside, Sonny, was not there at first so we went inside. Waited for 10 minutes for the lady at to desk to tell us to go back outside and then Sonny let a man who had only just walked up cut us in line. Tried to get his attention about this but he ignored is. Very unhelpful and rude staff. Would not go back at all.

It was difficult to return using the online return process. The system was not cooperative and I wasnt comfortable leaving the truck with no official check in process. The tech person that I spoke with on the phone was kind and as helpful as possible but she couldnt guarantee anything. All she could do was put a note on the account. It turned out fine, but was not a great experience.

Customer service was excellent. Employees were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated how they solved a couple problems efficiently and in a manner that allowed for a timely transaction which helped keep us in schedule during a stressful move. Very satisfied customers!

Access to the location is problematic. People there were professional and cordial. Steering on the vehicle was nerve racking but all else was good. Procedure for return of rental is unclear, poorly illustrated and limited.

The only reason I would use uhaul and this location is that it has a big selection and inventory. 30 minutes wait to pick up trailer. Impossible to call and talk to someone. 15minute long queue on 800 for service is horrible.

Better customer service. Without hidden fees. When asked if more miles meant I should reserve a second day I was told it wouldn't save money yet I had to pay for two days and had it one. Plus the location was out of the way considering I reserved at a closer location and different equipment.

I moved a normal 2 Br/2Bath apartment, and the 15’ truck was not large enough. And I had even sold off some furniture. I.only had an average amount of household goods. I recommend you revise your suggestions for truck size. Your pricing is a bit deceiving when the sign for truck rental was $29.95, but it ends up costing over $120.

This was NOT my drop off location that I selected during pick up. So, this meant I had to maneuver the truck in to downtown (which I totally preferred not to do) after loading, driving hours and unloading. I called Uhaul 1-800 and asked for a different location at which point I was not at all assisted. SO... I added more mileage to my BILL. During that call, I inquired about "how" I would regain my $100 deposit. The rep advised me that they would mail me a check. WHAT? I gave your company cash and how long will it take for you to mail me a paper check from wherever? She responded 2-3 weeks. Ummm...no! So upon my questioning, I finally figured out they could refund my deposit to my card. You know, the one from earlier that wasn't sufficient. Hmmm... how long? 2-3 days. The breakdown. I left my house at 5 am. Drove almost 3 hours to my daughter's home. Waited an extended period to obtain our truck and handed over an additional $100. Loaded it. Drove 3 hours with 3 vehicles following. Unloaded. Contacted "customer service", waited for almost 15 min for a rep to answer only to find out she was really no help. Had to get back in the truck and maneuver through downtown and leave at a location that was closed.

Your Chattanooga manager doesn’t communicate with his employees and can’t manage his own inventory. He also thinks it’s a good idea to start using his personal life as an excuse for failing to communicate with his employees. On top of that there is a big break in communication between your hotline and the locations. I repeatedly said that I was going to be picking up the cube in Chattanooga and they still had it in their system that I was unloading at the site.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. The Broad Street location in Chattanooga booked my rental incorrectly and I was unaware until they came and literally took it off my car around and said it was reported stolen and I could get it tomorrow and had 72 hours. I arranged and paid for a one way two week trip for my move to Colorado. I was charged ONE lump sum for a ONE WAY trip. That’s how your company charges for one ways versus daily. So obviously it was a one way. I even discussed with the lady working there about moving across the country while the guy put the trailer on my vehicle. I called to extend my trip and was routed to regional manager whom extended my rental 2 days. As we are sitting in the Walmart parking lot, about to cross the street to our new apartment and unload. Then return it to the U-Haul on Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. I’m deeply upset and disappointed. After a lovely experience with Budget to get my stuff from the U-Haul location (which I made very prominent why I was there and that I was using Budget. Just a hint at how bad you guys are failing, I was one of 3 Budget trucks there for some reason related to the poor quality and experience of your company), I will be using them from now on and at least never U-Haul again. I should be refunded in full for what your company put me through. I had nothing to sleep on, no clothes, no food... because the mistake made by your company. I look forward to your immediate response.

Wow! This is t the U-haul our parents grew up using. Also, the staff there are so nice, clean, and professional. This location is my “go to” for any trailer or van rental needs.
