I still have yet to have received my refund and it is been more than three weeks. I have to say this is the worst experience ever I’ve ever had with uhaul so far. Being a military family it’s just sad. We have done many moves and paid tons of money to Uhaul.

Cut down on all the pages that keep coming up trying to sell your Insurance. I have to indicate "No" over and over, where of course you'll do it when I'm trying to understand the next step of the truck inspection check out.

No for the associates to rush and charge a price that is incorrect and then have to turn around and re-corrected. We were overcharged on mileage and overall price and then had to make the correction after we pointed it out.

Truck was quite dirty on the outside and had a slight smell of cigarette smoke on the inside. The after hours self checkin was a complete pain and not worth saving $20. The customer service at checkin was very good.

The check engine light was on the truck and the dome light did not work. The people overall were friendly, but thi was not a good experience and I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this location to anyone.

Inspect inside of the trailer when it is returned and again before it is rented out.

Regarding the maintenance of the equipment. The wheel tire down strap was heavily frayed. Causing issues to undo easily. Not a safety issue yet but headed there.

The van seemed to be in need of a alignment or steering maintenance, lots of play in the steering going down the road. I absolutely hated the fact that the rentals now include a dolly and mattress covers attached to the inside and if you break the seal even by accident from loading/moving and rubbing up against it they charge you. Also, because of them being attached they are essentially robbing you of value because the space detracts from the usable cubic footage, and if you’re moving a whole house, every bit counts. Yes, I get that it’s convenient if you need them in a pinch, but anytime you reserve it whether online or in person they ask you if you want those products or not, so what’s the point if they are now permanently attached, save for the seals to break if you want to accept the charge and use.

The phone tree could use improving. Right now you are given many choose A or B options. If possible it would be great to have one menu of five or six options making the caller having to choose only once, and hopefully get to what they need in less time.

Have friendlier staff. Not everybody seems happy or at least pretend to be glad to be of help. Smiling should be a requirement for employees.. My business is dealing with people in a daily basis and I have to smile and pretent everything is peachy otherwise I might loose a customer/sale. I use U-Haul in aregular basis and the only person I really li,e is Anthony Breon, he is always willing to help and has a great personality.

I drive my van away and quickly noticed the fuel was empty even though the paper work said 3/8 of a tank. I called Calvin and he fixed the issue. UHaul might want to invest is locks on the gas caps so they don’t have people siphoning gas in the middle of the night.

The ash tray was full of cigarette ashes. I noticed the smell on my check inspection but didn’t look in the tray. After about 15 mins on the road my allergies kicked up so I investigated more and saw the tray. By then I was on the freeway for the next 1 1/2hrs with my windows down. Oh yes I’m in Seattle so it wasn’t a warm and dry experience.

The only negative feedback I have is the over all price for renting the vehicle, not too good, needs to be adjusted lower.

I think its false advertising. You say you rent vehicles for 19,95. Then you charge mileage and have to return with a full tank of gas. For something local or at least under 100 miles you shouldn't charge mileage. Plus, ridiculous cheaper on Sunday. My service was great, but don't like all the extras. Not right! I hope I don't have to rent a U-haul, again, to take care of a small job. Thanks. Jeannine Collins

All of the young employees are more worried about there phone and talking then customer service. I've probably rented 30 times in the last 3 years and they are the worst for thus issue, very disappointed.

I rented a truck. An hour later when i needed to open the tailgate i couldnt. Almost 15 min on phone later tbey told me to double tap key fob. Would be nice to know becore we leave.

Don’t bother reserving online. You still have to go inside, go through the motions. The “app” is still in beta test, so I’d rate that 2 out of 10. But the Bremerton location at least had their sense of humor in tact. For that alone I’d give them 4 stars out of 5.

Uhaul did not inform us that we needed our own hitch at the time we reserved then tried to sell us a ball and hitch when we arrived to pick up the trailer. Previous times that I have rented from uhaul they have always had ‘loaner’ hitches. A reasonable fee to rent a hitch would have been acceptable but trying to con me into spending over $35 to purchase new was irritating. Took me an hour to return home and retrieve my hitch. The staff was curt to the point of being rude. Trailer had not been swept out.

One of the U-Boxes had been apparently dropped and many items had been broken. Shawn, Misty, and Anthony were profoundly helpful and understanding in their support in managing the broken U-Box.

On more than one occasion I waited (along other customer) on the line for more than 20 minutes, in order for me to get them to open my unit. I don’t know if they are understaff.

My only concern was after 3 YEARS of paying for storage there was no prorate for the month. I paid for all of June and expected a bit of a return. Hardly seems right. No I wouldn't store w/UHaul again

No one answered my calls also transferred me to a national call center s when they finally did (the transfer made no sense.) My u-box had forklift HOLES in the wall. Took ONE HOUR to give me access.
