We had originally planned to pick up a 10-foot truck in Belfair using the 24/7 mobile pickup but the app timed out continuously. There was no UHaul person to help us get the truck. Fortunately, the security guard was very helpful, and advised us to arrange for a truck in Bremerton. He had obviously seen this happen before. I was cut off several times during telephone transfers with the 1800UHaul number, and he was able to get Tammy on the local number. So after standing out in the freezing weather for a half-hour, we drove to Bremerton, where there were real people, and a truck. The people again were very helpful, but I'm still disputing a charge for the insurance which was somehow automatically increased from $28 to $45. The attendant said he could not change this. As we had arranged for a moving crew to meet us at 11AM, I signed the contract knowing I would have to dispute this charge. When I got back to Belfair, I called a customer service representative who documented all of this. I'm expecting at minimum a $50 refund for the truck not being available at our original location in Belfair, and a refund for the disputed insurance amount. If you are going to have a 24/7 mobile pickup, you've got to have a way to allow the customer to pick the truck up if the internet service is poor.

Despite some complications on my end, the staff was still great as usual. A big shout out to Hagin who immediately jumped into action when all of us decided to return at the same time. It's a big lot but when 4 or more of us are returning at the same time it can get hectic. To add, Hagin made things all better when because of the complications on my side, just returning the cargo carrier stressful. Thank you all again.

The manager lied to me. I was moving from Washington to Montana and having to cross four mountain passes where you are constantly having to chain up to cross. Kirsten told an employee to tell me to call riadside assistance and they would bring chains to my house while I loaded the truck. Riadside assistance said no way, they don't do chains and if I did use chains I would be responsible for damage. Kirsten claimed that the policy was just changed two days prior, 11-11-2020, and she hadn't lied. She then told me if I bought chains and didn't use them, U-haul would refund me if I kept the receipt. I told her to give it to me in writing. She then stated that this was a "use at your own risk business." Very poor customer service.

I began renting a storage unit at the end of April of this year; and since that time I paid every month by way of automatic debit. On at least one occasion the hinges of my door were tampered with; and I right away alerted the staff. (I was glad I chose the extra insurance in case of theft etc.) Throughout my time there many times I had to walk to the office and request they unlock the door during normal business hours; and found difficulty with my key-card working consistently. This was inconvenient as many times there were long lines and I got tired of waiting. When I was notified that my cost was increasing, and had moved to another location, I made the decision to exit and left the unit in good clean condition for which I have a whitness. After vacating the unit I spoke with the staff; and they retained my key-card; and issued a refund. Subsequently I received a late notice stating that I had not paid. I sent numerous emails and called to resolve the matter. By contract however, the truck rentals over the years has been helpful with easy transitions; and problem free service.

Maintain your trucks the one I used was stuck in tow mode.syaff said oh we haven't had a tech out sorry it's the only truck that size we have. No pads or dollie. Wouldn't come out to show me the mirror adjustment. Trailer was dirty, small amount of leaves, twigs and a little gravel was left in it. Didn't effect what I was moving, so I didn't mention it when I rented it.

You could start by answering your phones. Then make it easier to do stuff online. Make sure employees know what they are doing. also if I am returning something make sure your employees show up to work on time. The over all experience was terrible and the charges were terrible. we did NOT drive that many miles and were over charged. Nothing went right from the beginning to waiting in the cold at the end for your employee to show up for work to the extra charges. Unbelievable. Linette Morawczynski

I was told my truck was given away by the "traffic department" WHILE I was checking in. One man helped and was replaced by another. The second man told me, after 20 min of being told I wasn't getting a truck while I held my reservation in my hand, thay he understood my frustration and he was definitely more frustrated that me... the person with 12 people waiting at her house to move her while she's being told I wasn't getting a truck. After 30 min, I was told they were giving me someone else's truck, who made the reservation 2 days prior on the same day, and telling them they will have to go to a different location to get their truck. I got a half-assed "sorry" when I was getting up to leave. My truck, which I had to search the parking lot for AND which was ACROSS THE STREET, was give to me with a check engine light. It was a horrible, HORRIBLE experience. Check-in was a different crew of people and the gentleman met me outside at the truck, showed concern about the check engine light, and was overall very pleasant. I live in a military town where people are looking to rent trucks all the time. This story doesn't bode well with them, nor does it instill a lot of confidence in this location.

Honestly nothing. The whole process has, over the years, become so streamlined. Twice now I've used vehicles from this location. On one occasion, I came after hours and used the online check-in feature to return my vehicle. It was effortless, bug-free, and the steps were spelled out for the user. The second time I did all of my transactions face to face. The staff were personable, friendly, and strictly adhered to COVID guidelines. I'll gladly use this location for all of my moving needs. Thanks!

Fucking scamers.. the equipment was not available... even though it was sitting right in the lot. I had to rent s much larger truck.. what I was told was 19.95 turned out to be $101 with charges and fees that were not brought to my attention.. you fucking suck huge dicks.. If i wanted to get ripped off.. i could have just went down a dark alley with 100 dollar bill taped to my forehead. You can bet this review will be posted everywhere.. shane on you. Especially during covid.. assholes

Part of the reason I moved from the PNW to the South was due to the apathy I saw in its people. Uhaul performed its duty well and I have no complaints on a technical level; however, for whatever reason, personal or professional, I found the crew to be quite cold. I don't blame them necessarily, the area breeds sadness and hopelessness. Thank you for helping me leave. I got here safe and appreciate your service.

Anthony was able to get me a 26ft truck after the reservation before me failed to show up on time. He drove all the way to Bainbridge to make sure I had the truck the next morning. Jay was also great. I was pretty cranky after finding out I couldn't get a 20ft originally and then when my I found out my truck never showed it brought that up several notches. Jay was very patient with me and I apologized for my rudeness. It was no ones fault everything was crazy. Thanks again Anthony and Jay! You saved my weekend with your patience and going above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed!

I rented a truck for an event, I reserved it for 9 hours. The event was canceled and I returned the truck within half an hour. I had driven less than 2 miles round trip.. I explained my situation to the location manager but she showed no sympathy and said "the truck left the lot". She refused to refund or prorate my fees. I spent $35 to test drive one of your 10' trucks down one road.....the truck was way better than the customer service. The location also seemed too busy for the staff. Everyone was tense, rushed and borderline rude.

Online Reservation experience was horrible. I reserved weeks in advance and then sent a text that I had to go to the other side of town to get the trailer at 8:30 am. The day of the rental I realized I couldn't make it across town in time so I went online and shifted the reservation to 2:45, still all the way across town. Got to that rental place on South Rainier and they told me the 2:45 reservation was in Bremerton, over an hour and a half out of town. I looked at my phone, and had gotten a text notifying me of same, at 2:30 pm. There was NO warning that by changing the time I was actually totally losing my reservation. I had to sit on the phone trying to find anything closer while the guys at the south rainier location called Bremerton to get the guy to hold it until my husband could make the drive out there and back, adding three more hours of driving. That was needlessly painful and infuriating at a highly stressful time. I will do whatever I can to avoid using u-Haul in the future.

Your phone pickup system is garbage. It took me over 40 minutes to get out of there with my truck. It would have been quicker and easier just to go inside. I was told I wouldn't have to go in but I had to go in to get a key anyway. Your garbage website also doesn't work in Firefox. Hire better web developers who test on all browsers.

Drove up with the trailer, stayed in my vehicle until a representative came to check the trailer in. He performed the check in all online right there while I sat in my vehicle, he disconnected the trailer and sent me in my way. Again the representative was friendly and easy to chat with while he went thru the process.

Anytime I call 800 go uhaul there is a minimum of 20 minute hold time to talk to somebody every time, which is frustrating.

The reason this place didn't get rated excellent is because for how busy they are, there just aren't enough people working. Check in and out times are pretty long. The employees that are working are excellent and always helpful.

I waited as the next person in line at Wycoff UHaul to pick up a cargo van I pre-registered for the night before. There were two service people working the front counter and each worker had their own station with computer. The other service worker was helping that customer and I was next and the worker at the other work station had finished with his customer and ge finished up a couple things on his computer and then it seemed odd that instead of having me come up and basically sign the pad and get my keys and every customer would of got their trucks and or van in my case and been on our ways? But, for whatever reason the service left the front counter and it looked like he was going around the room at lobby and doing some sort of inventory or price comparisons? Still I'm waiting and the service worker at other work station still had his customer and he did kinda say something to the service worker that is still out in lobby behind me looking at boxes and softly talking about prices or something? After the other worker spoke to him, he then went back behind counter did a couple more inputs or something on his computer then he summoned me to front counter and within 2-minutes I had signed the pad and got my keys after standing waiting with Nobody in front of me and with an available service worker to help me? I waited 20-minutes and 15-of those minutes the service worker was available to help me and he didn't? He saw me as I was the only person at front by counter other than the customer being helped like I should of been much sooner than was done for me? I didn't get his name, he was probaly 25 to 30-years of age with shoulder length brown hair and he wore glasses. I rented a cargo van #BE 4920H. 10/18/2020 at 9:32a.m. to 1p.m. and I returned the cargo van at 11:45a.m. Erik Curtis.

I was not aware of the arabization and traction problem of the truck rented until I was in the middle of hauling. When I dropped it off I asked why they didn't inform me of the problem and told me that the technician thought he fixed it. I wanted some sort of refund. And he did nothing. I still want a refund. Not the full amount but something. They rented a vehicle that was broken.

Look at the reservations better. After all in was told all were reserved. Called 1800 number got reservation in the parking lot. Walked in 10 min after was told none available and was out the door in 5 min.

This location is ok but we would not recommend U-Haul for trucks unless there was no option HATE HATE HATE !!! your policy to NOT provide vehicles with FULL gas tanks - the GUAGE in our van said F but we used 26 miles and had to put in 4.438 gal to FILL the tank So your vehicles apparently get LES THAN 6 MILES PER GALLON or the tank was NOT FULL - either way a BAD policy We rent cars frequently from the Hertz down the street and they ALWAYS have FULL tanks

Reserved a auto transport trailer when I got there they were “overbooked” so I had to get a dolly which if I wanted a dolly I would have reserved one. Guy was unapologetic.

The truck rented was knowingly issued with an active malfunctioning seatbelt alarm. Per the staffing comments on the return of the rented equipment. A grievance issued to headquarters regarding knowingly renting of malfunctioning equipment. How this distracted the user of the equipment from safe driving practices. And the lack of customer service when reporting that specific malfunction.

Don't park U-haul trucks next to the trailer parking spots, because when I came back to drop off the 6x12 utility trailer, there was one U-haul truck parked near it and one taking of two spots for trailers, however, what sucks was that I had to park it by the road in the one spot left and since it was on a incline I couldn't get the trailer off becuase some idiot didn't install a trailer jack in the front, so my friend had to help me lift off the heavy trailer and on top of that there was no help to even get the trailer off the vehicle, becuase, they always seem to be swamped now, before they had enough employees to help everyone and I was lucky this time since I had my friend with me to help.

I was standing right next to the truck waiting to check in the truck, but the employee attended to the other person BEHIND me without even asking me if I had been helped already. Well, I am asian, and the guy behind me was not asian, so there.

Customer service was not the best. Employees were not knowledgeable. Not at the initiation on the storage move in or at the move out time. They did not seem to want to help. Lone was moving extremely slow, they had no urgency. Very I’m pleased. Everything was completed and done. Will not go back since they were not helpful not even on the phone when I was trying to set up moving help and storage and truck reservations.

My only concern was after 3 YEARS of paying for storage there was no prorate for the month. I paid for all of June and expected a bit of a return. Hardly seems right. No I wouldn't store w/UHaul again
