I reserved a furniture dolly and the location was sold out when we got there. Due to time constraints we had to do our moving that day; not having that furniture dolly really made our moving ten times harder than it needed to be. The sales rep tried to sell my boyfriend a furniture dolly rather than allow us to rent it. We won't be using this location again.Sarah A.
The 15' truck I rented was in terrible shape. There was an exhaust leak which made driving the truck very loud and made the cab smell while driving. The seatbelt sensor was also broken, which beeped the whole time I was driving and was very annoying. Management at the Bremerton, WA location said they also knew about this, but did not bother to tell me before hand. There was also a leak in the cab that dripped water on the driver side. I asked to receive a credit from the Bremerton location for them knowingly giving me a truck in bad condition, but they said there was nothing they could do. This is unacceptable and some of the worst business practices I've seen yet. If this is the best Uhaul can do I will take my business rental needs somewhere else and encourage others to do so as well.AARON J.

Reserved a 20ft truck two weeks prior, arrived to pick up and was told we have no trucks available to rent. Employee says all I have is a van. Desperate, I wait in the lot for one to arrive. Employee advises I have a truck but it's much smaller than the one you reserved, take it or leave it. I had no choice. Smaller truck more trips back and forth, mores miles, more fuel. Made move day into our new home a stressful experience.SAM M.

There was nail in tire upon inspection before driving off lot. The staff on duty that day were so busy there was not person avaiable to start pre drive inspection at 1st. Staff was very pleasent and helpful through entire process.Leona F.
Upon checking I was told to do a walk around and use my phone to verify gas etc. The gas was at a certain level bit the truck was parked on a hill. When I started to drive the guage settled and it was lower than what I had agreed to. I filled the tank to where it was but was told that I was basically liying and was charged an additional fee for fuel. Very disappointing and rude. Not hiw customer service should work.DANIELLE B.

Fix your reservation app so that a big pop up appears when rental location is automatically changed. I started with Bremerton and when I picked the vehicle I wanted it switched me to a Seattle location. Seattle is either 65 mIles or a one-hour ferry ride away â€" so more than three hours total out of my way to fetch the vehicle. I did not discover the problem until I came in to pick up the rental. They didn't have anything available that was even close. They took my name and number and told me someone would call me shortly to discuss options. No one ever did. After some fruitless research on my own I ended up calling the Bremerton store back and begging them to rent me something â€¦ anything! I ended up with an uncovered trailer that was three times larger than I needed and it was raining cats and dogs. I'm pretty unhappy overall with UHaul but the folks at the Bremerton store were great.Joy S.

Start over from scratch. Worst rental experience ever. I was lied to, sent on wild goose hunts, given equipment that didn't work properly, called a lier and spent three whole days just trying to get a working trailer. And I mean dealing with u haul for over eight hours each of those days. Employees were terrible and their management was even worse and I'm guessing the management above the store manager is just as bad since ive made two requests to speak with them and four days later still nothing. as a business owner myself I'm disgusted with the service and it ended up costing 200 in fuel and almost 4000 in lost revenue thanks to u haul. This is my third really bad experience with U-Haul and each one seems to get worse. And with the first bad experience and this now third bad experience being so bad I'm considering legal action and I honestly think I have a hands down no questions asked who's at fault lawsuit on my hands. I wish I could say something different or that it was just this one location but it's been at two completely different locations over a year period and it's clear u haul is a poorly trained, only for profits and gives zero care about customer service or satisfaction. The word would be a better place without uhaul and their employees.MATTHEW L.

Location allowed the trailer to be rented with two old tires, one was not even an approved uhaul tire it was a spare from road side assistance and never replaced. We had a blow out in Wisconsin, tornado watch in effect and I'm pregnant. we were so lucky that the uhaul in osseo stayed open and replaced the tires otherwise we would have to have waited 2 hours to get assistance from road side. The Osseo location went out of their way to help when we called in a panic.Brittany L.

We only had 1/4 tank of gas which was a pain as we had to fill to use and fill to return. Should have started with a full tank. We were told that our reservation changed to be contactless and after you go though all the steps online to rent the van, we still had to go inside and stand in a long line to get the keys.Bryan K.

The store experience was fine, except for when I returned the vehicle I was charged an additional $75 and I have no idea why. Not to mention the truck ran REALLY bad, and was so loud that I couldn't hear myself think. Pretty embarrassing. Other then that it was great.JULINA A.

The furniture movers we reserved were not there when we picked up the truck and we had to go somewhere else to get some. Had we known the items I reserved weren't going to be available when I went to pick up the truck, I wouldn't have gone with uhaul. The staff members we dealt with regarding our rental were rude, unprofessional and made no attempt to make it right. I lost several hours of my day due to this set back (employees looking for the items, issuing a refund and then having to drive to another town to purchase furniture movers) and all i got was an, "I don't know, i guess we're all out." I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service i received and will not be doing business here again.Clint L.

When i made the reservation 5/26/21 for 26' truck and rental unit, the rental unit was advertised to be free for the 1st month. I noticed immediately after confirming the reservation that I was charged $89.95. I sent an email right then saying this was to be free and to cancel if there is a charge. As of 06/01/21 I have not received a response nor a refund for this amount. The storage unit was not used and is not going to be used, I did not want it if it was not free for the first month as advertised when I made the reservation.JANI B. | Online Move In
I was on deployment and they messed up my payment method, so i kept getting letters and calls about me not paying my bill. They also called and said the lock (that we bought from their store) was not a valid lock and threatened to cut it. Just overall a bad experience.
