Most of my experience was with the online or call center people. The shop people were great, however, I never got specs on the container, I was told it would be ready at one time and it wasn't, told at one location and it wasn't there, waited an extra week before I got the container. I had to pay an extra week of rent to get moved. In the end I was taken care of sorta. I will never use uhaul again for any type of storage. This was the worst experience ever. Terrible. The guys at the shop were great, except for the first shop on golf links and wilmot. They were rude and not helpful, they were downright ass holes and I'd recommend noone go there, but it's a busy place. This could have been much better.

When renting a specific type of vehicle, should have it in stock. The trucks interior was a little dirty and they need running boards for short people to get in with back problems. I had asked the damage waiver not to be on it and they charged me anyway saying it was standard. Nope I work in auto insurance and know your coverages follow you which vehicle you rent. The first person waiting on me acted like he was bored with his job. Hope I never have to rent again, will use penske instead.

Everything went super smoothly. The only thing I would have liked is confirmation of delivery sooner. I used Uhaul movers to reserve help for my unload and it was hard to coordinate the uBox delivery and their help since I didn't get the window of time from uHaul until 24 hours before drop off and even then it was a 4-hour window.

One pod was lost and one was 7 hours late. The lost one showed up 7 days late then I was charged for rental on that for the time it was delayed. I have yet to be contacted by anyone and when I call I am told that they will contact me. I have yet to get my refund I was told I'd get 50 everyday it was late, and instead was charged. I will never use uhaul again and I will not ever recommend you to anyone. I am sorry that I ever did recommend you.

I returned the vehicle in three hours, while my reservation was for four. The front desk was in disarray, staff told me they could not accept the keys. I waited to ensure that I gave the key to an employee. The next day, I received a call asking where the vehicle was and why I didn't return it on time. The person I spoke with said that they would relay that information to their manager and get back to me. I never received a return phone call and when I tried to call back later in the day, I was faced with a 45 minute+ hold time. I still do not know if they figured their own issues out and figured out what happened to the vehicle I rented and timely returned. I don't know what went wrong one their end, but it dumbfounds me how they missed the return of a pickup truck. I won't be returning to this location.

The representatives at both U-Haul service centers were friendly and helpful. The only hiccup is that there were bolts screwed into the door (probably at the time of shipping from the originating center), which I assume should have been taken out before transferring the U-Box to me. I had to scrounge around for tools to take the bolts out myself. It would have been easier and quicker if the U-Haul folks had done that.

Marco at the Benson location is very rude,, has no customer service. He cancel my reservation without my approval. I called to check if I could move my time due to the weather (it was raining all morning), he right away offer me for Monday I told him that I would first had to call my boss to check if I had coverage at work. When I call back to let him know that I couldn't get the time for Monday and I would be going for the truck at 12pm as scheduled, he said that since I had given him the ok that he switch for Monday and that there was no other time for Sunday. To accept it for Monday or to cancel my reservation since I had given the ok. I told him that I would check with my boss and then call back to let him know my options. He told that he was not going to argue with me and that I give him the ok to begin with. I then hung up call the 1-800 # to get something scheduled for that day at a later time. Once I got to the store about 245pm Benjamin Claudillo also approached me with a little attitude once I gave him my information. He then told me that he was not going to rent me the truck since someone else was going to come for it at 330pm. I told him that I had the reservation at 300pm and that it was not my problem of they over book the truck and since they had screwed my reservation already I was not going to leave until they gave me the keys. He then grabbed the keys and told me that if I didn't have the truck but 330 that he was not going to let me take it. I told him that if he would get working the quicker I would leave a get the truck back. A lady then walked in and he ask her if she was returning a truck and she responded yes then he looked at him and said the truck is due by 5pm. I looked at him and with the truck keys in my hand I told him that I would get it back once I was done and walked away. Very unprofessional and very bad customer service from that location. I dislike dealing with those boys because they are always so rude. Never stepping a foot there again.

My contract said the gas tank was full. A few miles after I pulled away I noticed it was just over half full. Tried calling this location but couldn't get through on their complicated phone tree. Probably cost me an extra 70 bucks in gas. My error for not looking before driving away. Hope this was an isolated incident and not a profit center for this location.

Customer Service was absolutely the worst by far. First off, my 4am key was not in key box, so reserving was useless. Then, after I waited 3 hours for them to open, Rep. Qushawn Luster-Smith tried to blame me for the mistake saying that I didnt reserve it right. I triple and quadruple checked what my reservations, so I know that this wasnt the case. He called me "bro" like we eere on the block or something. Real professional. I then said I didnt want to argue, just rent me the truck. I stated twice that I wanted to get a bigger truck. He totalled me out for a smaller truck. I stated I wanted the 20' bigger truck and you would think i just told him someone died....I finally got the bigger truck. I put my credit card in and it was taking a while, he said "it was debit right?" I said " no credit." Then he was trying to say that I said debit. I said, "no...I didnt say that." He kept saying "yes you did, yes you did". Just Ridiculous..wasting my time. When they finally gave me the truck, he said" its in the lot" it had a quarter tank of gas and he made me walk in a huge lot and find my own truck....I hope UHAUL reads this and fires him. Totally unprofessional! Dont go to Benson Highway and Ajo way in Tucson. On a good note: when I called customer service, they were very good on both regular and their live service.

Had a hitch installed, immediately went to buy a new trailer.... after hooking up found brake lights didn't operate....... tried calling uhaul back and only get transferred to call center out of state.... they say "they will message someone at the store ".... still haven't received a call back it's been 3 days..... will have to physically go back there after holiday.

This was an alternate drop-off location we received today and the address for the new drop-off was given incorrectly to us. The shop has moved from 1265 E Benson Hwy to 1256 E Benson Hwy. You might want to update your records. Went to 1265 and saw a sign directing us to 1256.

No I wouldn't, when I went to pick up no one was at the counter both guys had been outside watched us pull up and me go into the building while filling up ONE propane tank. Then the worker tried to dismiss my order and told me to leave the store when I called him out on his awful customer service, I was very annoyed with the fact I had to walk outside and ask for help and then I was treated awfully. Even when I dropped off ladies asked me if anyone was present at the store, I told them in the truck. So it seems like a regular thing that no one is inside which is a safety hazard for your company and a theft concern. Will never use the location ever again and will make sure I let everyone know.

Not cancel original pickup and drop off location. Very inconvenient for customers. Each original location was only 2 miles from both homes. This was the reason I chose both locations. If customer reserves 2 weeks out that is plenty of time for UHAUL to get it organized.

Please review complaint ticket no.3207732 for information documenting the start of this terrible experience. I made reservations over a month in advance Uhaul canceled equipment and moving help accidentally and did not reinstate services appropriately. Delays. I had three days to move out of state and this happened. Wrong equipment. Someone else's FIREARMS delivered to my residence. Movers drilled through Ubox. Used box. Several trips made to Uhaul to remedy situation, one hour each time. Stressful!!! My sanitized Ubox given to other customer. Regional office is not resolving my issue. I am withdrawing payment. Guaranteed shipment delayed. No one answers your phone for at least 20 minutes each time I call!

Many staff did not have answers to questions I posed about RV storage. The electric box provided does not accommodate size of RV plug due to type of hinge on box. I said I only wanted 1 month storage and would let them know if I was going to extend and I am being charged for overdue payment
