I have had a awesome experience with the employees and Jen the manager. I was about to move my belongings elsewhere pror of Jen becoming manager due to lack of communication with the previous manager he was horrible. I have been at ease knowing that the security is highly watched and I have my units inside. It's pleasant to be able to pull your vehicle in the bay to load unload or go through your units A/C in summer & HEAT in the winter and all indoors. I had an issue with the ecommerce side of things. I waited on hold for 1hr 24min before I got a hold of the right person. I didn't have a buyers club option in the menu, and so I waited on hold the first time for 45 min to talk to the wrong person...he was very kind and helpful, then I got transferred through to the right person to handle my issue. Maybe give a text option, or a call back option instead of sitting on the phone getting frustrated with the long hold times.NIKOLAS G.

The fuel was marked as full, when it was actually on 3/4. I had to take a pic on my pre-trip inspection. Then I was still charged for fuel when I actually returned the truck with more fuel than I left with. Then I was charged an after hours service fee of $20, though I returned the truck early. The website wasn't working for me to return online so I dropped the key. Had I know the fee would incur, I would have taken the truck back when the store opened!JEFFREY E.
The king pin on the driver side steer tire needs to be replaced, the struts on the front need to be replaced and it needs an alignment. And the oil pressure was only 15 psi where it should be is 25 psi.Benjamin H.

The trailer sizing needs to be corrected. I got a 4' by 7' trailer and got to my destination only to find out that the trailer opening was 3.5' by 7' and the item I needed to haul would not fit and I had to go back to uhaul and get the next size trailer....LEE B.

This location is understaffed and it is apparent they do not care about offering any customer service. When dropping off the rental, I was told to go find a specific employee. I do not work here. I do not need to go find an employee who is missing from their assignment. Finish what you are doing, help me, then figure out where your missing employee went. It's that simple. If I go inside to return the vehicle, it's because no one is outside. You should not question me. Instead question why the employee assigned to returns is not there. Never tell your customer to go find an employee they do not know. It's lazy and unprofessional. Understaffed is understandable. Making a customer find your missing employee is unacceptable. I have rented from this location several times in the last 12 months and it is the same miserable experience of employees expecting me to do their job. I'm not paying you to make excuses for your lack of staffing. Just do the job or offer a refund. Do better.SPENCER C.

Moving can be a stressful time in anyone's life. I have moved dozens of times and used U-haul for all of my moving needs. This past Saturday, 5/1/2021, I was scheduled to meet the guys from Moving Help at 9:30 to unload the U-haul into a storage unit. Because the paperwork wasn't completed, I arrived at 9:00am at which time Jen Barker informed me that the system went down. There were people lined up in the store and U-haul trucks lined up in the yard for check-in...not surprising as this was the 1st of the month on a weekend. Jen and Brandon helped customers as fast as fast as they could using "old school" paper and pen methods. Jen couldn't use the computer to locate the unit I reserved, so we went looking for an available unit by foot. The process was time consuming, but not the fault of the U-haul team. We located the vacant unit and proceeded with paperwork, so the movers could unload the U-haul truck. Because the computer was down, every transaction took longer than expected, but Jen and Brandon were dedicated to helping everyone who walked in as best they could like pros, never rude and always polite and professional. There was a fee I had to pay in person before they would release the box, but they didnt tell me until the movers showed up trying to get the box and for some reason it took them a full hour to bring that up so that I only had 7 min to rush there and pay the fee before they closed. Why was I not told sooner about that? Why didnt they mention that when they called the day before? The only thing they said in that call was that the box was ready for pick up - which it wasnt. I had to wait until the next day because uhaul wasnt able to give it the day I originally requested. So the second day is when they decided to wait until 7 min to close to let me know I had to pay the stupid fee on person or it would be delayed yet another day. Communication was seriously lacking. Also, the movers I had didnt scan the stupid box before it got sent to my new location, so now I am having problems getting my stuff here. Also, for some stupid reason, they keep givong my apartment managers phone to everyone instead of MY number. Why the hell would they need to call my apartment manager for my moving details? It has just been one headache after another. I will NEVER use Uhaul again.Clarissa C.

I returned my truck at 6:45 and they made me do a self return. The employee argued with me that I was not on time and walked away from me rather then helping. I did not appreciate the attitude after a long day. The self check in is not easy to find on the website and not very streamlined (you have to change location permissions in the browser). U-haul should encourage it's employees to be helpful/friendly.KEVEN B.

Have more employees during peak times so customers don't have to wait for over 40 minutes in line. Train your employees better so they are knowledgeable about the equipment and products. All staff was very helpful in showing me how to set the security system and walked me through it. They were polite and respectful. I was informed about the difference in quality of padlocks for my storage door. Also, I was informed about the perks of renting an indoor storage with security cameras and alarm system. Truck was in bad shape. It was out of alignment, dirty in cab and bed, and one headlight was out. Also, I was charged for gas an inflated amount after I returned the truck. The tank was half full when I received it and then before returning it added enough gas for the gauge to reach the 1/2 mark (I checked the gauge as I was filling it). Then after returning it, a $19 charge was levied for $4 gallons of gas. I should receive a refund.Paul N.

We started using the storage unit in May 2020. We put this unit on autopay from my credit card. In August, I received an email stating that my payment was late. I called facility and asked about it. I was told to ignore it. I went to access my storage unit on Friday, October 9, 2020. I found a non-payment lock on it. I was told that a janitor had change the ownership to "John Doe". It was explained that he was older, new and not very good with computers. I am still considering moving my belongings to another facility. I think it is extremely poor policy to allow a janitor to change a storage unit status and not to keep a historic record of storage unit ownership. The that helped me reestablish my storage unit were very apologetic, helpful and informative. I appreciate the staff being able to tell us what really happened rather than giving an excuse or tell me a lie.Gary S. | First Impressions

I had a unit for one year. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ONLY recommendation I might have is to give a way to create lighting within the unit. Like perhaps electrical outlets in the hallways or something. In a large unit, even bright flashlights aren't enough.
