This is the first time I did not have to deal with the woman who I think was the manager. She was very rude and condescending, so I was very pleased to deal with two very polite and knowledgeable employees. I will continue to work with this location as long as I do not have to work with the rude woman.

The normal wear on a moving truck is applicable, but the inside was a little more than dirty. However, the main reason why I would never recommend this location is because the person who helped me was racist (whom point blank asked me "so what are you?" Then proceeded to hit on me in front of other waiting customers, as if he doesn't see the obvious long-awaited people behind me. And when I called him out on his unprofessional behavior, he told me "aren't you Korean", to which I declined. And when I asked "are you allowed to ask me that?" He responded by saying "oh, I just came back from Korea, and Asian chicks love me there..." And I should also mention that I was going to let this go, until I received my U-Hual final receipt and was over charged for insurance I explicitly said no to... there is no apology, no compensation, and apparently no end to his unprofessionalism. This is not only troublesome for women renters, it is a problem for people all alike. He acted like he owned the place and was power tripping since the first moment. If there are video recordings with audio at that particular location, everything should be apparent.

For multi-day, long trips like the one I took, my suggestion is for the U-Haul staff to run through the vehicle's instrumentation and lights to make sure all are working properly. In my case, 2 tire pressure monitors were not working and so, we chose to check the tire pressure a few times. The interior box light did not work and one of the door lift cables was off it's track. All in all, everything went just fine. The vehicle was quite loud inside at cross country highway speeds. Again, nothing that could be changed. We just wore headphones.

The equipment I rented was great. Very easy to use and well maintained. The only problem I had was your computer/reservation system need's to be replaced or updated. I was there for 50 minutes trying to get the trailer rented. The person helping me was very knowledgeable and had to enter my information 3 times on 3 different computers to get the information to enter in your system. I will rent again from U-Haul but not until your reservation system is fixed at that location.

The staff at this store were fine but my overall experience with U Haul was horrible. I was shuffled around to 3 different locations and ended up getting my truck several hours late when I had people coming to help me move and forced them to wait because of your company.

Online wouldn'r let me rent over 24 hours, so I set up two trucks back to back (just under $160 for both). At pick up location my cell app only would bring up a truck for the next day, so had to go into store. They did change it to 48 hours, but the cost jumped to just over $190. Truck smelt poorly inside, wrench/oil light was on the entire time truck would be running and the truck was covered with "X" stickers from damages (never fixed). To add to the distaste of it all, the truck was returned. Via key left on seat never checked by anyone. Then the updated bill hits and it jumps from $190's all the way up to just below $300. Huh??

This place is awesome. The guys working there were great. I would drive the extra miles just to rent through this one company again. Very friendly and patient. Really enjoyed the help they gave me. Windshield was filmy and in direct sunlight was hard to see through until I used windshield washers! Checking took too much time as we went through every single item I had already filled out online when I made the reservation. Disappointed that business hours did not until 10pm for return check in. The phone checkin was used but not liked.

The gentleman who checked us in was great, expedient, friendly, and helpful. When I brought the truck back early, I wanted to make sure we were checked in properly (no damage to the truck, etc.) the young man at the front of the desk, was pretty inconvenienced I was trying to ask a quesiton and just told me to leave the keys and we could go. This is not my usual experience when returning a rental. If I check it in myself I should take pictures to prove it's in good shape. So I did that anyway. The other young many came out and tried to apologize for him and tried to take blame himself. This was admirable, but not necessary, I'm pretty patient and would wait, but I would hope by trying to return a vehicle, I am not seen as an inconvenience.

I did mobile pick up. It took a long time to get through all of the things that I had to do to find out what truck was mine. On the app, it said that the truck would be on the 99th side by the fence. I looked there, in the back of the building and then finally found it out front. I then had to go in to get the key from a worker. I guess I assumed that it would all be contactless. The truck and employees were very nice and the truck was very clean and well maintained. Overall, a good experience!

On the day I went in to pick up the uhaul and put stuff in the storage. The lady who was serving was very aggressive and angry at the person who went to help get the uhaul and also aggressive and angry at me. When I approached her about it she said she was joking at the staff, then she began angrier and canceled my service. Because I didn't have enough time to search for another uhaul location, I decided to retake the storage and uhaul. On the next day, when I went to the storage to put stuff in it, the door couldn't open. Then I went to the staff to get help from them but, no one was available to help me to open the storage door in that cold and freezing weather, so I returned all the stuff that were in the car. Another thing was the car manage. From 9890 central Ave. to 698 Highland Tril was 10miles but the manage they entered was 20 miles.

disappointed that when i went to the unit on the day i was to move my stuff in, and upon my arrival, there was a foot of snow in front of my door. and my door wouldn't open very well because it was froze to the ground.

My experience with the owner of the Blaine location over what should have been a simple billing issue was probably the worst experience I've ever had with a business. I wasn't able to even fully explain the situation I was seeing with multiple credit card charges/double billing before breach of contract and auctioning my items were mentioned, and further efforts to try and actually explain the situation were met with an aggressive tone, immediately cutting me off mid sentence and not allowing me to explain the full situation. This experience is THE specific reason I moved out of both storage units we had rented. We now have a storage unit with another company, and will not be using uhaul in the future for our storage or moving needs after this experience.

I was told that my things were not moved but yet the arm of my oversized recliner was broken and my antique table was broken in two. After removing everything I did see that there was somebody in the store still but doors were already locked so I couldn't tell them about my things being broken.

Bad: Key card never worked so just had to push button until someone opened it. Told to wait > 30 minutes for locksmith (and I paid $50) and when he did not show employee drove to storage unit and cut off lock in 5 minutes. Should be standard offering and who kept my $50. Some employees to busy to be pleasant or helpful. Customers bother them. Days after we called to verify they knew we were out of the unit, we still got a e-mail for a bill to continue. Need to get your act together. Good: Several employees we pleasant, helpful and knew what they were doing. Overall I would use U-Haul again. Just have to be watchful.

Most of my items were damaged and had rat poop and dead rats in my storage. Even though that wasnt the big reason I couldnt pay for the storage units, it was very disgusting and did make me very angry. Personal things caused me to fall behind on my storage and I apologize and never was my intention to bail or not pay for my storage but very disappointed with how the storage units were not taken care of. When I have the funds, I do plan to pay my debts but right now, I am barely making ends meet. Also did not like the attitude of the manager as she was rude and disrespectful.

Was a little disappointed when I rented a 10x10 and got two 5x10s next to each other. Makes for difficult storage of larger items, which is why I rented the 10x10. Will be looking elsewhere for an actual 10x10 unit. Other than that, everything is great. I wish this location had an available 10x10 unit.

It may seem weird I would give a poor experience when all the bullet points say yes, but here is the deal, was the staff friendly, yes, but it took four people to get the simplest thing done, the first gentlemen was very friendly, but couldn't do one thing right, the second person helped him a little, then walked away leaving him once again to struggle, a third person joined the struggle, but he too left when things got too complicated, finally it took one young man to take over and complete the task of taking my online reservation to rent a storage and make it happen, but this poor soul was running the entire show at this facility, it was like he was the only person that could get anything done right. Even after he had completed my transaction, the card he gave me wouldn't open the gate, and I had to wait and additional 15 minutes just to interrupt the young man who was helping someone else and tell him my card wouldn't open the gate. It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes from the time I got there to the time I left for me to drop off an air compressor into storage. So painful.

Rented in march, had an accident 2 days later, so I never set 1 foot into the unit. It sat empty. So I went yesterday to close account and asked for a receipt to close account. Walked away without. Got yelled at saying it would be emailed. I also was required to purchase a u haul lock which I removed and tried to return in original packaging. I don't know what to say. Yelling at customer don't want to come back. I've rented equipment there before and never had trouble. I don't know what to say.

Fact that you will not rent to anyone who does not have a smart phone is just unacceptable. The sales person who helped us was gruff and dismissive.

Everything was fine until I decided to move out. Two days later I was charged for the unit and returned that evening to sort it out. I was told to return the next day and speak with the manager. It was taken care of immediately, but it did unexpectedly make my acct negative and am still waiting for my refund. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else again for it has been quite the hassle for me

My 24hr access didn't seem to ever work the last 3 month which made it impossible for me many times. Moving out could have been done on time had my gate access card worked. Very difficult to get moved out of storage in a timely manner when the best time to move is evening / nite time hours and you can't get in to your unit. But over all the last 6 years that I had my unit were great.

The staff was great; always friendly and helpful. We had three units for approx 9 months; spanning summer through spring. We were storing all our personal belonging from our home after we sold our home and were looking for a new one. All three units were outside. Unit One's plastic sheeting along the ceiling was 'flaking' and left everything in that unit extremely dirty. Unit Two had water on the floor at one point. We are assuming from the ceiling?? It caused an excess of humidity which ruined several items and required lots and lots of extra cleaning. For example, I had a Rock Salt lamp that sweated and left a salt residue all over the box it was in. Premium boxes that were supposed to last for several moves, caved in on themselves due to the humidity resulting in boxes we couldn't restack when moving, and damaged items. Unit Three had mice issues. Everything had to be sanitized; they climbed into the holes that you use to carry the boxes and had feces in 95% of the boxes. This unit housed all of our kitchen items, so probably had food smells which I'm sure attracted them as well. I spent weeks sanitizing every item I could, and threw away what I couldn't... that included linens, kitchen electronics, furniture, etc. We lost a lot of things. One thing to note is this unit is on the outside of the property which is next to a tree line, so we are assuming that is why we had issues with that one. We opted to go with the outside units because we wanted to save money. We have never used storage before and thought it would be fine. We were wrong. If we have to move again, we would never consider this as a viable option. That being said, the staff was great and very helpful.
