They stated the battery in the truck was shot and “the battery stores were closed” on a Sunday at 3:30. They didn't bother to tell me until I showed up, with moving help all lined up, that I wouldn't even have a truck available. Are you kidding? Go to Walmart and replace the battery. Or menards, or runnings, or interstate battery or any store that's open on Sunday afternoon. They lied to my face and the GM will not return phone calls and had a full voicemail. This delayed my moving by an entire day, costing hundreds of extra dollars due to missing timelines. The worst customer service experience in my 32 years of life.

I was charged $20 for overnight fees after renting a vehicle for 3 hrs. Very dubious charge. These guys are cheats. DO NOT USE this U haul. They don't seem to know what they're doing.

The pickup I rented had a super strong cigarette smell and the cab was not clean. I returned it after hauling a couple loads of furniture to the landfill....with the windows open so I could breathe. I look at the receipt that was emailed to me and was charged a $25 cleaning fee. Wow! Really!

Hire people that are not just talking on their phone or texting on their phone when customers are there or change your policy that do not allow them to do this, at least when customers are in the building asking questions. I realize it was cold that night but no one is forcing him to work there and if he doesn't like his job get another one. I went there for a service and didn't need to hear how he didn't want to wait for me while I was in the store looking at stuff I may need for my trip

The online process is very easy and I appreciated it. Maybe the only improvement could be the possibility to choose which unit among those available? Because I have now 2 units, one on the 2nd and one one the basement floors. The human factor is less than ideal. There was no lock in either room, although the emails from the online booking specified it, and I had to purchase those. Every time I had a problem ( and I had many related to the in person renting process, as well as with the online ) the wait on the phone call for customer service was more than 1/2 hr and the person could not solve my problem ( the first time she could not even understand it). Luckily, your online format is very helpful so I could solve my problems despite the human factor...

10 miles were added to what we had actually drove and the floor on the truck was broken which resulted in my husband hurting his knee and ankle and when I returned the truck the gentleman told me that I wasn't going to be charged for the rental of the truck because of my husband getting hurt .

I received a damaged truck upon pickup. It was dark when I arrived at the Uhaul location. Got the truck home and noticed that the right side of the truck was damaged. I tried to call, was put on hold forever, as usual, without an answer. I was told that the general manager would be in contact with me. He is yet to do so. All of the employees were less than cordial.

When a customer asks for an extra day to rent the truck, and it's confirmed by the employee you have that extra day, please actually add the day into the computer. Two different employees confirmed the extra day was added to my contract and I still was called saying the truck was overdue.

The 19.99 turned out to be over $50 despite driving less than 12 miles. The milage was 7 higher than listed when I picked up the truckand the website wouldnt let me update the mileage before I started driving. So I paid for mileage I didn't use. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to pursue this issue

When I picked up the trailer in Bismarck, ND the tire needed changed. It had a 2 inch gash on the side. I had to wait and it put our day off a bit. My son works at Northwest Tires and was able to change it I feel like I should have gotten my $70 back because my son changed the tire and Not uhaul. The drop off in Florida was excellent. Yes I will continue to rent from uhaul.

Next time when booking a truck, tell me up front that you dont have what i want to rent instead of waiting for your regional manager to call me two days before and tell me you dont have the full size truck that i ordered and i have to down size. It caused me lots of my time and a lot of money. I will not use uhaul again unless it is my last option.

When a customer such as myself elects to utilize mobile check in. We should not be required to stand in line for the key. It should be in the provided lock box. Additionally, when a customer returns the vehicle on time. it should be immediately returned in the system so I the customer is not charged for 3 days of use. GET YOUR CRAP TOGETHER!

I made a reservation on line. Tried to confirm pickup time and reservation, no answer left message, no response. Went on line and left a message to confirm and add 10 boxes. No response. Went to pick up and there were no cargo vans available we had to take a pick up truck, no Dolly which was reserved, and no one wore a mask. Not a good experience at all, considering I tried to confirm prior to going there.

Talked with customer service on my business account. Set vehicle up to be rented for 2 weeks once arrived to location team member said I can only rent for 24 hours. Branch willing to turn down moving inventory to have it sit on lot.

There is very poor customer service. Your place sales bacause there is aneed for rental equipment, but when competition gets ther you are done. I have gone to other Uhaul a few times before and they take the time to explain and to asnwer questions. Here is was almost like, well her are the option, period. Will you return in this location or this one?? as the guy goes quickly to the option. Terrible, terrible service.

I was charged for 2 days when I had returned the truck 4 hours after having it, went in the next day because I saw I was charged again the guy said it would be refunded, was not refunded had to go back again and I talked to justin, he went over the charges and amd refunded the amount owed to me.

Just make sure that who's checking in the truck gets the correct time when it was dropped off the night before which is what I did cuz I do not want to get billed for an extra day when I had it there before it was even due

The gentlemen that helped me pick it up and drop it off where extremely helpful and kind. However a gentleman called me Monday morning accusing me of not bringing the trailer back at all. I was pretty stern with him and said, "It's there, figure it out" and also said I have no reason to keep an enclosed trailer with U-haul written all over it. He should double check what's going on before calling a customer and accusing them of not returning equipment when it's right in front of his nose.

Kyle Wright sucks at managing this place. He had charged me for a late fee of $15, twice before the 6th day of the month. It clearly states $15 after the first and $15 again after the 15th day of the month late rent. So I had to pay extra just to get into my storage, and when I went in to get a bag out of my storage he stated he was going to call the cops because I wasnt allowed to go into my own things/storage without paying first which I told him I had paid that day and to go head and call who ever because I had proof I paid online. And then I finally closed me storage with them last month and now almost 2 weeks later he has charged me a " $25 cleaning fee" on my card which was only removing a 2 queen size mattresses. When I was closing out my account I had told the young man who closed my account for me they were in there and I couldnt get them out by myself because I am 8 and a half almost 9 months pregnant now and he said he would take care of that for me. Now to see Kyle is charging me $25 for that is ridiculous. This storage is way over priced and the manager, Kyle, is not fit to be running businesses where he can just rip people off like that and feels like he can do as he pleases with others money. Especially during this pandemic. He is a awful and I hope he gets replaced or demoted overall. This storage has so much more ability to get customers if he wasn't such a a**hole and money hungry

The staff rating really should be a "sometimes" friendly. We leased up to 4 units for 5 years & U-haul Bismarck was a well oiled machine back when Brian was the Manager.Not the same service like then.
