The unit was fine and clean, but they charged me for an "after hours" service that I didn't know about.Also in another branch they gave my reservation to another person and I was left without a truck,and they sent me 20 mikllas to pick up another unit and when I went to pick up the unit it was 26 feet, too long for what I needed and they didn't want to give me another one until the next day.Later they gave me a credit of $ 50 for the mistakes made, but I had already paid in another branch for another truck and this credit cannot be used until hiring a new service...That's ridiculous!!! my cell is 205 296 2988 (any questions)Rendon R.

Andrea at the location was WONDERFUL. Patrice who helped us on the phone was WONDERFUL. U-Haul, as an experience left a lot to be desired. We rented a 15 foot truck, got the email, text and "live" phone call about pickup location. NO truck at location. Were sent to another location (Valley Ave.). They had nothing to rent. Andrea (on location), called the UHaul number and Patrice was able to find us a truck, but it was a 20' truck on the opposite side of town. Patrice suggested we rent the moving blankets from the Valley Ave location to be sure we were able to get them. When we returned the truck in Panama City Beach, FL, we were able to return the truck with the online portal with no problem but the blankets were under a separate contract and the website wouldn't recognize it. It took 2 phone calls (one had a hold of 45 minutes and I gave up after a while - the second one I requested a call back) to get it situated and the blankets checked back in. The whole experience was pretty frustrating.Kathryn S.

U haul location Valleydale Avenue off Greenspring the guy name Brandon or whoever he is. Wear a dark green shirt nasty attitude. He charge me $150.00 dollars because I didn't feel out the survey then he said I didn't put gas in the truck. I did put $15.00 dollar gas back in truck. I believe the employee stole my money. Do not go to the U haul on Valleydale Avenue down the street from full moon barbecue. I need a refundBRIDGET W.
Pick up and return was easy and the gentleman there at that time was friendly and helpful. He very informative on the trailer rental and hitch setups! When I called to inquire about returning the auto transport trailer the day before it was due, I was told by someone who answered the phone, that returning it at 5 pm would be too late to return a trailer. This location doesn't close until 7pm on Sunday but they said they stop taking trailer returns at 4:30. Just a little inconvenient since I didn't choose this location when I requested the rental through the app. ThanksShelby T.

I don't like to write negative comments but the fellow in charge that day was very short with me both on the phone asking if I was going to be on-time turning in the equipment (as he had a renter lined up after me). I assured him I would and he just hung up. I was an hour early, but he was very short with me again in turning in the equipment. I did nothing that I know of to prompt this. The trailer had no tie down rails on the left side and were all broken off. I didn't notice when picking up the trailer until I started loading and had no tie downs so everything moved while driving. Also I was supposed to get a $23 cheaper rate for dropping at another location but was charged full price for the trailer! $77 vs $54. Both were an inconvenience.Ronald D.

The girls there were wonderful. They saved the day for us. We had experienced a total failure from U-Haul regarding a truck we were supposed to have picked up at another location. We had waited 3 hours at the first location and nobody ever showed up to get us our truck. We found the location at 540Valley road and they were able to rent us a trailer. I was charged $20 for out of hours service fee stating the U-haul was returned on the 21/07/2021 at 8am, where I had actually returned it on the 20/07/21 @ 18:30 dropping the keys to the front desk personnel, being within the 4 hours rental period and during the opening hours. The rental was about 45 minutes late which costs an additional 24 hours. That is ridiculous. The compNy should be a little more customer friendly. A full days charge for 45 is excessive. But with storage prices being ridiculous as well I should expect no differentJohnnie J.

The drop off location was incorrect. I need to make sure I'm not charged $1000.00 my original drop off on the phone was Bessemer RD 35208 bham then an hour after the drop off a representative called me warning me of outrageous charges. We used the truck in a 10hr time frame, utilized UHAUL storage I spent over $600 in one day with this company now threats of a $1000 charge because a communications error.
