again this was not the original location for drop off. That was changed after I picked up trailer. Your personnel worked very hard to find an acceptable drop off point for me but it was 20 extra miles.

The trucks are not equipped with all weather tires...But you rent them out in all weather...I rented a 26 ft U-Haul to move my family and became stuck on top of the snow...not embedded or sunk down in the snow, just tires spinning on top of the snow with a little melted slush...I purchased the insurance but was told immediately when I called to tell them their truck wouldn’t get traction, that my insurance I purchased for an additional $56 was null and void...it cost me $525 to have the U-Haul winched out..The tow truck drivers explained to me that the tires were bald and were steer tires all the way around, not meant for rain, slush or melted snow....when I returned the truck a day early and under mileage, I couldn’t get any response to my situation...The next day I explained the tire situation to the store manager and she replied with,”yeah, that’s the only bad thing with our trucks” I will not recommend u haul...And I doubt anyone will even respond or read this...

Extremely not helpful. After following directions when dropping off vehicle, 10 minutes when by, had to send son in and was then told to turn in vehicle myself online!

The after hours drop web page is not user friendly. I could not get it to accept that I was dropping it off. I then "chatted" to get help and was never answered.

Very impressed with the convenience of the indoor units. Unloading and loading was much easier than I expected. Climate controlled in MI is the only way to go! The staff was professional and helpful.

Your customer service was terrible. After I paid, The lady at the counter handed me the papers with no instructions. I didn’t even know where my truck was even parked. I then pulled up to the door because I saw some scratches, and marks and I wanted to know about the check list sheet. She replies oh yes you have to get on your phone. I had no clue. I can say the availability was good because it was last minute, and the size was great.

Was not aware of the details of the after hours check in process and if I didn't do it I would be charged $20. The final bill was more than what it showed on the agreement even though my mileage was less. Not sure why?

New location. Clean and new. First day I walked in computers were down. Jeffery did a great job of answering my questions and I was on my way knowing I’d have to come back the next day and book my truck for my move. Went back the next day. Got things sorted. Was sent my emails. Then Pickup day happened. What a nightmare. Why would you have an employee working that didn’t have a clue how to work the system. I spent 45 minutes just trying to pay for my truck that was already reserved. Was asked to review the screen about the insurance offers. Next thing I know he had clicked forward charging me for something I hadn’t even reviewed. I told him to go back so I could review what I was being charged for. Long story short he couldn’t. He spent most the time on the phone talking to someone who was telling him how to process my paperwork. I wanted to by some appliance straps. Couldn’t cause he didn’t know how to ring them up. He was frustrated. I was frustrated cause I needed to get loading my truck. Then he had no idea how to load the trailer. Good thing I had brought a friend cause I’d still be there. The employee was nice but who does that to a new employee. He most likely will quit. How stressful for him. Very poor customer service. In know ways am I blaming the employee. This is total failure to train someone. Disappointing

It would be nice for people with reservations with time to pick up if trucks were up by building. I have a bad back and walking is very difficult. The lady manager was very nice to deal with. A very nice facility.

Maybe not guarantee a reservation for someone until the previous person actually returns the truck! I got moved around several times because trucks were not available. I was given a credit of $50 but I'm not recommending Uhaul to anyone. When I called for help, I was transferred at least 3 times each time I called. Then the final destination - Beckley Rd..the lady there was not listening to me when I said I WANTED TO DROP OFF IN MARSHALL. If I pay for Mileage also, it would have been cheaper for me to drop it in Marshall where I am living. But I have 81.09 coming out before my 50 is credited, and that leaves me absolutely broke for 4 to 5 days. I will go through another rental company next time I move. Today was such a hassle.

I dropped my truck off after hours and followed the link texted to me to click “return truck” online and follow the return process. After clicking “return my truck” I was prompted to grab my belongings, lock the doors, and leave the key in the drop box. I was concerned that since the system did not prompt me to submit photos, that I was going to get charged a $20 fee in the morning when it was checked in by the store. I waited on hold for uhaul customer care for an hour to confirm I would not get charged since the system was just telling me to simply leave the keys in the drop box. They confirmed and told me to take a picture of the mileage and truck just in case. In the morning, the store charged me a $20 fee. I am very upset about this. Overall bad experience with uhaul. I would have waited and returned my truck when the store opened in the morning if I would have been aware I was going to get this fee. Uhaul should honor what they told me over the phone, which was that I would not get charged the fee since it was an issue with their system.

The original place where my reservation was did not have the van iui reserved. They had no other options for me, did not give me the $50 reservation guarantee a d were rude when I asked what to do. The answer they gave me was "go somewhere else." Not at all impressed! I had to pay more in mileage and had to pay 2 men to stand around waiting for me until I arrived due to having to go to another location.

I used the after hours pick up and was supposed to get the truck on Friday at 8 PM. I arrived at the location and followed the steps through the app and after I was approved to take the truck I was given a code for the lock on the back of the truck that was supposed to be used to get the keys out of the back. The code that was given to me was incorrect and did not work. I tried to call the number they provide during the process in the app for "I cannot get this to work" or something along those lines and was waiting for 15 minutes before I finally gave up and hung up the phone. I had to go the following morning to pick the truck up and found out that the code they provided for the lock was incorrect. It does not seem like it should be hard to verify this when you put the lock on! It was just an inconvenience to have to drive all the way out there twice. I was also concerned about the time for return so when I went back the next morning they offered for me to keep it until noon the next day which was fine...but I would've liked for them to offer a discount for the inconvenience they caused, also. All of that being said, the young man that helped me on Saturday was nice and I appreciated his help...I am just not very impressed with the experience overall, I've used U-Haul many times and never had an issue...but this is my first time using this location.
