Mobile check-in was redundant and clunky, there was no indication of where in the lot the truck was, and after it all I still had to go up to the counter to pick up the key rather than it being ready in the truck. I don't understand the point of a â€œspeedyâ€ mobile check in if I have to re-enter information already provided and still go up to the counter.Colby C.

The staff was very precessional and helpful. The storage unit was clean and very accessible. Trying to close my unit online was a challenge but emailed Reid, the General Manager, and he got it done. (I have pictures to document) The equipment was in poor condition. The yellow marker lights on the LHS was malfunctioning, The tie down D-rings on the rear with "ground" down to the point that the LHS tiedown was not usable. The wheels appeared to have grease or something coming out of them. I was able to complete my task, but this trailer should be serviced and did not have piece of mind during my time using the trailer.THOMAS OWEN M.

I've always LOVED this location however I did the equipment pickup with the owner who was EXTREMELY rude to me. I was totally EMBARRASSED being forced to have to openly admit that I was homeless, I've never felt to small but in the end the uhaul served it's purpose.KEENA MARQUETTA- S.

The truck we rented was a deathtrap. The brakes were weak and the steering was so loose that we had to turn it a quarter turn to get the truck to drive straight. Consequently, the truck wanted to weave all over the road. I would recommend that UHaul depot because of it's location and the storage unit we had was clean and well-priced.ARTHUR HAROLD M.

Our unit was not available and Veronica jumped on getting us room for our stuff at 4:20 on a Sunday! Aaron was helpful as well. Gary went the extra mile and took us personally back to the units. We were on a very tight schedule and we got unloaded (had to go with indoor units, plural) in a very short time and on our way. Customer service at its best. You may want to check the 15ft truck tie rods, etc. as the handling seemed little loose. Keep these people though!! If I could give more stars, I would.joe g. | First Impressions

Picked up truck and we'll on the road when I received multiple text messages from U-Haul. Reminders, copy of contract, etc.. I ignored. Timing seems odd if you do not want people reading text messages while driving your vehicles.RICHARD EARL A.
This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. The first part of the process was fine... the box was dropped off at my storage facility in Plymouth, MI on time. I then asked Uhaul to store my U-box for a month in MI until I figured out where I needed it sent. A week before I asked it to be shipped anywhere, I got a notification it was shipped to Nashville, TN. Luckily I noticed quickly and was able to stop that shipment before it happened. I then called on Oct. 13 for my U-box to be shipped to Milwaukee, WI (only a 5 hour drive from Plymouth, MI). They told me it would cost $800 to get there on the 24 or I could pay $1400 to get it express shipped and have it there the 19th. I paid extra as I needed to get into my apartment ASAP. On Oct 18, I called and asked what time my box would get delivered. I was THEN notified that it would be delivered to the storage facility in WI on the 19 but wouldn't be delivered to my apartment until the 20 and I had to call the WI facility and schedule a time for it to be delivered. Luckily they were not busy and said I would be first on the list for drop off on the 20 as I was originally told it would be to me on the 19. Unhappy but not a huge deal. I then waited around my apartment all day on the 20 only to find out I had been scheduled for drop off between 1-4 PM. I hired movers to unload my unit and gave them the updated time. 4:30 PM rolls around and my U box still has not been delivered. I had to cancel my movers and the WI facility had closed so I had no answers. I walk outside at 5:00 PM and my ubox is sitting on the side of my parking garage. I never received a call saying it was on the way or that they had dropped it off. Luckily my movers were wonderful and came back the next day, but after pay $1400 and the box coming basically two days later than promised, I can honestly say I will never use this company again. WORST service ever. Use PODS or any other moving company but do not use Uhaul Uboxes if you want your things to you on time.olivia V.
We've rented 3 times from here. First 2 were straightforward intown rentals, no issues. 3rd time was a big one-way truck rental. The team here is no-nonsense but they know what they are doing, and will make sure you have what you need. They answered all our questions multiple times ahead of the one-way rental. Day of we were undecided about UHaul's extra insurance charges. they went out of their way to redo our 'dispatch' step to give us more time to decide. Also, we did find an issue with our originally assigned equipment and they immediately assigned us another truck. The next day when we came back for help hitching our car, they were ready right on time and worked with us to get hitched up. Right at the end there was an electrical issue with the equipment. I was worried they'd give up on us since sometimes at other locations they'll be like 'ooops nothing we can do, guess you just have to deal with it.' here about 4 ppl all got involved and they got the electrical issue fixed. They also got us set up with a great mom-and-pop uhaul location to drop off at the end of our trip. Don't be put off by the team's down-to-business demeanor - they will make sure you have what your really need.DEVNEY ANNE H.

This was the best experience I've ever had renting a vehicle! The staff were friendly and efficient, and the checkout/check-in processes ran super smoothly. Every new employee should get trained at this location! It's the only one we'll use from now on. My only "complaint" is that we had originally planned to do the self pickup but the online process was really complicated and asked for WAAAY too much information (e.g., references, passport). Have the truck reserved available rather than us calling on Saturday morning, having to change both truck size and location. Also we reserved a dolly and it wasn't provided. We were not charged for the dolly but we were also not informed that there wasn't one in the truck. It was pretty frustrating. The staff at pick up and drop off were fantastic.TIMOTHY WILLIAM V.

When telling the agent about issues with the truck, the agent pointed out a small sticker on the inside of the truck that states the truck was water resistant not waterproof. Shame on you! U-Haul is a great place to rent a truck; I've used them several times. The notification service could be improved, because the 6 PM notification never happened for us. We had to contact Dispatch the morning of our rental to find out where to pick up our rental.Alfred G.

I'd reserved a utility dolly. I arrived to be told they didn't have one and there was nothing they could do about it. They wouldn't even check other nearby locations for available dollies. I had to call around myself and wasted 45 minutes to find and retrieve one from another location. I was told this is a uhaul wide policy. I'd suggest uhaul change their way of doing business and make sure dollies are available when reserved.JAMES DALE M.

We paid for 24- hour access, but then were unable to access at 10:30 at night. After hours phone number went unanswered. Phone call to customer service didn't show any issues with our account and left it to us to resolve. I make this comment with the understanding that it is difficult for employers to find help right now. The location was understaffed which led to very long wait times to check-in and to get on the road. The staff available were extremely polite and as helpful as possible. U-Haul's mobile check-in does not work. This is not a complaint about the location. They do not control the app. This is on corporate. My original reservation wasn't available, and the office was unable to honor the original price of my storage unit - I was forced to pay nearly twice what my original rate was. I'm likely to call the customer service hotline to see if something can be done, e.g., a free month, a lower monthly rate, etc. I made the reservation more than two months before it started - you should change your system so that it doesn't allow new reservations if it's unlikely there will be space available on the start date.William J. | First Impressions

I reserved a lower level storage unit but unfortunately it was not available when I arrived. I had no other choice but to take a upper storage unit which was very inconvenient given my stuff was very heavy to lift up! Other than that the staff were pleasant.Paul T. | First Impressions
When I arrived my unit had a zip-tie on it and no lock inside, which was the only thing I needed to actually get started. I had to go in the office and ask for one, which makes the online no-contact reservation idea pointless. I was able to figure it out, but the system of arming and disarming alarms at one panel, and opening the building doors at a different panel, was very confusing. I heard one alarm go off while I was moving in, and I'm sure that happens all the time. The unit numbering is also very confusing, and it took me a while to find the correct building (I'm in the 1600s). Going from the 1400s to the 2000s, and having the 1600s out front, makes no sense. Finally, the stairs to the upstairs units have a lip on them that makes it much harder to pull a dolly up them.Daniel S. | Online Move In
