During pickup & drop off, the system was down each time which used up hours of moving time for me. The system was unreliable & not efficient at all. The box itself seemed great & my stuff arrived quickly & safely but because uhaul’s system is such a mess I would never do the Ubox experience again.

You guys are amazing. We are very happy with how everything went and we are grateful to you guys for the incredible service you provided us. The only suggestion I can make is to inspect the boxes for nails and screws poking up through the floor from the bottom. Only 1 of the 6 boxes had an issue but it felt pretty dangerous. Thank you guys for being awesome.

Location manager is very very helpful, very caring for the customer, excellent service, excellent communication skills, knowing how to deal with all kinds of situations or problems might cause by customer! After you picked my pod up, I was informed that it would be three days later than what we agreed upon for delivery. I had important stuff in that pod. I did not get as much as a," I am sorry". I am very disappointed, and I feel I was bait and switched by your company. The person who dropped it off in Bend was a very kind person and apologized for something he didn't do.

When booking it was confusing on when to schedule pick up to make sure they were delivered on time. We ended up not having our belongings for over a week but they were at their destination before we even hit the road. The site overall was just not user friendly for scheduling. We would pick the same days and get different days our pods would be available for delivery at the destination. Other than that pick up and delivery was an breeze!

The pickup location was great. The location the container was delivered to needs to have a few issues addressed. Was totally unorganized, was there a few days ahead and was told everything would be ready for pick on the date set. After waiting in line which I know couldn’t be helped, the container was at a different location which again could not be helped. The container was not on a trailer,had to find someone to help, then an hour later,was put on a double trailer.

In the beginning of this process I was told there was a U-Haul location in San Marcos Texas for my containers that’s why I booked with U-Haul. Afterwards I was informed there was not but in Austin 39 miles away. I am very disappointed by the lie I was told it caused me extra money and time to get my things to my home. I will not use U-Haul again unless I get some sort of reimbursement

Beyond disappointed in final returning or pods. Pick up was delayed by 5 days by UHaul causing major issue with our homeowners association. The delay was supposedly because the location had no driver.

Allow us to tweak delivery date - when request in advance notice of 12 days. Not only could we not tweak the delivery date - but delivery arrived a day late. Delivery team were GREAT!

Instead of renting a truck and driving 1200 miles, using the U box for moving was time saving. At both ends of the move, service was great, Anaheim Hills and Port Townsend.

Sometimes email notifications were not updated. For example we reserved 3 containers yet only needed two once Packed. Although talked with serval amazing team members it took some time to reflect the quoted cost for two. I do love the app and the communication… just some confusion on quotes cost of 2 vs 3. All team members were helpful and kind. Thank you!

This was our first time using a container and it was perfect. We were informed every step of the way what to expect which was great. In addition to calls, I also received emails keeping me up to date which was very helpful. Every person I spoke with was professional and helpful. It was a wonderful first experience and I will most definitely be recommending UHaul to anyone I know

A lot of items were damaged in transit. Also had to spend much more than expected since no one in the whole state of California had a trailer to tow my vehicle. And it took a week & a half to get my items at my new house. Please update your website to show if you don’t have equipment available & list the time it takes for a u-box delivery.

The boxes arrived on time, but only after repeated phone calls and begging the company to honor the original estimated date of delivery. I have never been more frustrated with a company in my life. I have done 3 PCS moves with the military and used uhaul for all 3, but this is the last time I will use the company. At every step of the process, I was as met with disrespect and ignorance from all levels of the uhaul staff. Everything I was told by uhaul, from the price (they raised our price $2,000 without telling us) to the delivery date (they changed it to a week later without telling us), was changed, and I had to spend hours every week on the phone with customer service to get them to honor their original quotes. Aside from a small handful of individuals, all phone service people were rude and dismissive. I would often get transferred from the scheduling department to reservations then back to scheduling — every employee taking the attitude of “it’s not my job let me transfer you.” I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN AND WILL TELL ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN WHAT I THINK.

Dealing with U-haul was good but not dealing with MovingHelp. The movers at both places were great, but the MovingHelp staff on the phone or chat left a lot to be desired: two people hanged up on me after putting me on hold, another explained the charges but stated that they would not reimburse me the difference unless I submitted proof of the mover's refund to me --why? they already know that help was for 1 Ubox, not 2. They should have dealt with the mover regarding the refund instead of me or have warned me not to give the code to the mover if there were any changes. In any case, not effective, no good communication or customer service from MovingHelp. To improve: It would be better if UHaul doesn't contract with MovingHelp and would just list movers for customers to contact them and pay directly without having MovingHelp in the middle.

I had been trying to track this down for years and couldn’t find it. When I was told I could settle I was not informed what that meant. I had to drive in from out of town to than be told after we signed the paper work we could have possibly had it shipped. It seemed like Tara was avoiding talking to us at all costs. She then offered no help what so ever to explain where to rent a different uhaul after refusing to start a new contract with us so we could just two the box up to reno. There was very little contact on your end and I can’t believe i was not contacted about payment before I had only a month to come collect and settle. The other worker who helped us was very nice I didn’t get his name. I will never be using ubox again and will strongly urge anyone I know to use anything else. The man at the uhaul we rented a trailer from told us he gets complaints about this location all the time and he agreed it was outrageous I was not able to start a new contract.

my experience on the delviery was horible. This is the 2nd time(used service before) where we followed the instructions, called the main number to schedule our pick up at the far end and when we got to the local site it was a nightmare. After 3 conversations with main number, the local facility had the wrong day/time. While I was already there, they were going to make me wait almost 2 days becasue they didn't want to pull the box out of schedule!!! The counter person nor the yard person were moving off their position. it wasn't until the mgr arrived and I was pretty irrate at that point that the manager made the accomodation and pulled th box. The communication between the mian number and these local facitlties need to be better. The last two experiences becasue of this siutation has made was generally a good experience a bad one.

My overall experience with U-Haul was subpar at best. The box was delivered late and the company did not provide communication that this would happen. I had to reach out to the company and sit on hold endlessly to find out where my U-Box was and why it had not arrived. Following that, they did not come to pick up the U-Box on the original pick up day, I had to once again reach out to the company to figure out why and then reschedule a pick up day. On that pick up day, they had not arrived within the given time period, so again I called, sat on the phone for over and hour and was passed to four different people before somebody could properly assist me. Overall, the experience was less than great and incredibly frustrating to say the least. I cannot say I will be using this company again due to this incredibly challenging experience.

I don't know how to improve anything, except maybe lower the price a little. You guys delivered my UBoxes on time, picked them up on time, when I requested them to be delivered earlier than scheduled, you delivered them to my new address early, when I requested an earlier pickup for the empty containers, you said no problem and picked them up right away. Awesome job!!!

Our box was transferred without consent to a far less convenient location. We should have been told at reservation time that we would not be able to access the box at the more convenient location. This was a huge inconvenience to us.

When I booked my delivery I was told that I would receive it at my destination address on 8/5/22. I did not receive my Uboxes until 8/16/22. I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience and won't use Uhaul Ubox or any service again.

Uhaul in Anaheim CA. was great. Megan was extremely helpful. In Florida, not so good. I spoke to Uhaul to have my delivery date updated to Aug. 13th, which I was told that it had been updated. Come Aug. 12th, no call to confirm the delivery of our containers to our address in Florida on Aug. 13. So I called about the issue. I was told my containers would be delivered on Aug. 17th, 4 days after the day they were supposed to be delivered. I couldn't argue with who ever I spoke to in Florida Uhaul coordinator cause every thing was already scheduled and booked up. Then I was told be driver on Aug. 17th that the containers would be picked up the next day, Aug. 18th from 10am-1pm. Then later that day we got a call confirming the pick up time was 10am-1pm on the 18th. Then got a text saying pick would be on the 18th from 1-5pm. Being that I got the pickup time from the actual driver, I went with that. Come the 18th, no call, no show 10-1pm. I call just before 1pm, cause I done wasted my morning staying home to be here for the pick up. I was told I was scheduled for 1-5, I explained what I was told from 2 different people. All I got was a sorry she is on her way and would call me. Never got a call, she showed up to pick up containers around 3pm give or take a lil. So after spending nearly 4k, wasn't very happy with the end service.

We rented a Uhaul truck from this location and was charged $28 for fuel cost plus additional $30 for fuel service fee. However, we did fill up the gas to the level we received it when we returned the truck on 7/10/22. We made multiple attempts to contact the GM named Gabriel but this guy just toys with us and keeps on telling us, he will refund us back our money. It’s been over a month and we have only received the $28 but not the $30 dollars. We have contacted him multiple times about the $30 and he continues to ignore our request for our money.

Answer the phone. Every time I call in I'm on hold over an hour. When I try to arrange a call back, the only time available was 48 hours later at 6pm on a Friday night. Ridiculously bad phone service.

I had to pay an additional $800 for another company that was suggested by U-haul, to drop off empty container to me in Cali, then later pick-up the full container to deliver to U-haul. Container was delivered to me in Maryland by another U-haul suggested company. U-haul had difficulty following my box and didn't know when it left California nor expected to arrive in Maryland. I did the same last yr but things ran more smoothly no partner companies. This year the staff didn't know what they were doing, long wait times & many transferred calls to get my questions answered. I'm a long time U-haul customer but this is the last straw. Bye U-haul

I was overcharged by $300+, ignored by managers and had to let BBB sort out this issue. I have warned every friend and family member to never use Uhaul and will continue to warn anyone that tells me they are planning a move. Worst experience I have ever had. To improve for future maybe actually stick to the quote given instead of scamming people out of money once you have their items. The entire location is trash and should be shut down.

Location was hard to find using a GPS. When advising the address, Uhaul needs to advise the Uhaul location is in the parking lot opposite of Sierra Madre Circle.
