2 out 4 employees were very rude. Tried to tell me I was supposed to return the van the same day at the same time of pickup. We asked for 24 hours with the extension until 6. We picked up at 3pm and apparently was supposed to return the same day of pickup at 3TRACY K.
I am a very Unsatisfied customer. I rent a u haul truck for 5 hours and spent 98.21. I was charge extra for going over 40 miles plus replaced the gas that I used. I feel like I rented a truck and payed for mileage on top of gas mileage is a scam. 100 dollars for a truck for 5 hours is ridiculous. I askedto pick up truck in a different place, last minute it was changed to this location, and time was changed, made my life a living hell. I had a reason I wanted to pick up in that place close to where I was and then reroute to far away place , took up another hour of my time, and with time changed another hour off my schedule, I like most people like to stay on schedule, that is why I schedule it way before I needed the truck , then last minute was changed, very upset , will use another company next time, and there will be a next time .Cathrine B.
When I first received emails about the vehicle pick up, I was told to go to Storage King USA in Copley, Ohio at 9am. After arriving there to start filling out the pick up information, the location had changed to the U-haul location. I tried repeatedly to call uhaul before I left because of this sudden change, only to be on hold for over 20min with no answer. I decided to rush over to the other location with my driver only to be unable to fill out anything on my phone still. I had to go in to get everything sorted out. It went from getting my vehicle at 9am to around 940am. The fault isn't the location itself as it is whatever is wrong with updates on the website. It would have been fine had I actually been notified ahead of time that the pick up location had changed.DENISE W.

The lady who checked us out when returning was not helpful and rude. Never came out to check trailer and directions to park trailer was conflicting with her coworker. Coming out yelling and not directing was not helpful. Gave my husband attitude when asked for receipt. Everything else was a great experience.GREGORY R.

The truck was dirty. And it took me an hour to get the back opened. Called in and was told it was frozen shut use a crow bar on it. They should have told us that when we rented it had to pay for time we didn't have access to the back. At 1st when I came in the associate â€œWillâ€ said it wasn't anything available. Than I looked online and was able to reserve one 15 minutes later. I believe he was just being lazy, he told multiple other people this as I say their to reserve a van.LEROY N.
My experience was fine. However; the trucks were over booked. Because of that, my scheduled time was changed. I should have been notified so I wouldn't travel expecting to have a full day and be disappointed. The young lady behind the counter was very polite when explaining the issue to my father and uncle. RENTED A TRAILER FOR A ONE WAY TRIP AND SHE SHE HAD THE ADDRESS AND ZIP CODE WHERE I WAS GOING AND ASKED ME WHAT LOCATION I WANTED TO DROP IT OFF AND I TOLD HER THE CLOSEST AND THAT ENDED UP BEING 45 MINUTES AWAY IN ANOTHER TOWN WHEN A UHAUL WAS IN THE SAME ZIP CODE I WAS INDAVID E.

I think that every location should do a pre-rental inspection with the customer. Just to make sure everything is working properly. The ramp to my truck was not working, but Fortunately I was able to improvise and move without using it.STEPHEN H.
Tell people ahead of time that their pick up location has changed. Also tell people ahead of time that the things they ordered to be on the truck are not available. I ordered a furniture dolly, utility dolly and furniture pads only to find out at pick up that the location had none of these items and had been out for weeks. The male employee who rented me my uhaul was very rude. He was a younger male with very long hair. He Rolled his eyes at me. I have never rented a uhaul or drove this large of a truck so I had some questions. Asking them were a bother to him it seemed. Also, when I returned my truck- he was still inside the store. It was around 7:05 and the door was still open- so I tried to go inside to quickly return my truck. He just yelled at me to go outside and do it because the store was â€œclosedâ€ even though the doors were still open. I thought maybe he would be nice and let me quickly return it, I thought wrong.Madison L.

I had a truck reserved.when I got there to pick up couldn't find truck in computer and then when found said it wasn't available.they had to cancel my reservation,then the miles were off on truck and they said they would note that for me as well as the gas.now I just got email saying I owe another $408 after I paid over $200 already.ill never use this place again.this is the second time I've had issues with them.i rent trucks for work 2-3 X's a month and we've never had an issue with any other uhaul but this one.f- themCHRIS H.

We had a water leak from the back overhead door of the trailer. We had one piece of furniture ruined and 3 boxes really wet. Unfortunately, we did not get the insurance, so we are screwed on those items. I was very disappointed in the fact that the equipment we rented was faulty from the start. I rented a 9 ft van on10/01/21.When I reserved the van I also requested a dolly to help me move things. When I picked up the van the young man behind the counter said there were no dollies available, that they never knew when they might have one, and that they were "hardly ever " available. Subsequently I reserved a 15 ft truck for 10/16/21. I requested two dollies because this move involved a number of heavy items. The day before pickup I called the location to verify that dollies would be available. The representative told me they would be in the back of the truck (but to check it because sometimes they weren't). I emphasized that I needed them for heavy moving and he assured me that they would be there ( except sometimes they aren't). I repeated that they were a must and was reassured that they would be there (unless maybe they wouldn't). When I arrived for the pickup the young man behind the counter smilingly told me that the dollies were all gone. Had one of my sons not had access to a dolly I would have cancelled immediately.Kenneth A.
Order this trailer 2 months prior to my pick up date - Have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick up - When I left the lot and was driving the turn signals were not working correctly- Visited the location in Massillon for assistance and there was only 1 person there who could not assist - Visited another location and the indication was the trailer was blocking my sensors- Had to drive over 1200 miles without my safety sensors working correcting on my carBenjamin D.

I want to comment here that despite me accidentally renting the wrong trailer, this kind woman which I wish I could tell you her name; had only charged me for the pickup truck and the few miles I put on it. She was very polite & understanding. So besides about $100 of mine being wasted, she made it only about $60 wasted which is due to my fault but i'm more than thankful for this u-haul's help both setting up my order and refunding part of it.CHRISTIAN F.

I had a mobile check in scheduled well in advance for a 7:30am pickup. When I got to the location and checked in it said there was an error and to go to the counter. The inside doesn't open until 9am. I had to get help from a family member to drive to Columbus and get a U-Haul down there to pick up the furniture I was buying instead of purchasing it in Akron and doing a round trip. This took time out of a family member's day and almost made me late to my shift at work because of the significant delay this error caused.
