It was obvious the technician spent extra time concerned with the wire connection during hook up. He gave me the thumbs up saying I was “good” however at the first stop I noted that the tail light/break light/blinker on the left side was not working at all. This was the second trailer they attempted to hook up as the first had a poorly-operational front jack that would not lower.

Josiah and his staff are so professional and helpful. I had to have my movers pack my things out of a number of units and they worked with us to make sure my movers had space to work and park their truck. I live 15 mikes away and would definitely store my stuff with them again.

The trailer I reserved was not available because repairs needed to be made on both of the ones they had. They did give me a replacement that was ok but not really what I reserved or wanted. The employees were very accommodating just a problem with the equipment

I think it is bad business to enforce a policy and have no recourse nor offer any grace to people in need. We went over on our monthly lease by 7 days because we had to leave town for a death in the family. So we were charged a full months rent for 7 days use. Yet UHaul would not offer any kind of a refund for the month. Not even partial. Nothing. I know it is in the contract but exceptions should be made for some circumstances and a death in the family would be one of them. And I have worked in IT for decades and know that every billing system has an override procedure so blaming it on the "system not allowing it" is just lying. If I am ever in need of temporary storage in the future, I will not be using UHaul.

Asked for late night access over three times, was told that I was good to go, showed up at 10:30pm to unload my stuff prior to work in the morning access was denied. Call the after hours GM no answer multiple times. Had to sleep in the truck at night, in order to go to the office at 7 AM and was Told " what do you want us to do about it?" Then got a charge for going 30 miles on the truck because I couldn't unload my stuff when I was specifically told I was good to go. Gonna take this first free month and move out and stay far away

You staff was very rude even though it was after hours. Some people had questions about leaving the equipment there and the employee was rude even though your off the clock you still work there and it would have been courteous to answer the questions the customer an extra 10 mins or less so they would not have to pay extra for a screwup or have to spend hours trying to correct something that you could have solved in 10 mins.

Sometimes the gas level in truck is different than the paperwork provided by staff. My paperwork said it was almost 3/4 of a tank but when I got into the truck it was half s tank. I return it with half a tank and was charged $15. Also the wait to talk to customer service is ridiculous.

U-Haul experience and unresolved billing and complaint. I have use the U-Haul on Greenville Ave for 10 years +. Vickie and Patt are the best and they are where I wanted to rent from but their was no available trucks. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM NEVER. Renting from them is like renting from family or in a small town. I actually love going there, they carry on conversations and follow up with phone calls and personal email and txts. My experience at the Addison location on beltline Rd was TOTALY THE OPPOSITE. My total charges are wrong, including the damage waiver and charges for furniture pads and appliances dolly. The location Is confusing, the signage is misleading and Ill placed. I spent over 30 walking and looking to find the drop slot for truck keys . (Pull the video and you will see I'm the confused person wandering back and forth the side of the building looking stupid) I finally find it.. WHO PUTS A KEY RETURN BUILT IN TO A SHIPPING CONTAINER??????. For something as important as keys WHY is it not at the front main building where the lock box is! Or built into the glass. And why isn't it on the invoice! Insurance coverage $20 when I was running my card at pick up. The associate had to run the transaction 3-4 times. Each time I checked the I DO NOT WISH COVERAGE BOX ON THE PIN PAD, which said if I was in an accident I would be responsible for all damages immediately. I ALWAY SELECT NO COVERAGE. Appliance Dollie and pads $15 for second day. I told the agent when I called for the second day about them and asked did I need to return them early. My understanding was the agent would communicate my regular and the charged for I will never rent from this location again. And I will only recommend the U-Haul on lower Greenville. I'm not paying the promissory note and in fact U-Haul owes me $1.24 I want the facility manager or region manager to contact me about this experience. Staff at the location were great. Uhaul app was not able to process a picture of the Odometer, it would take the picture, but would not load the thumbnail, nor give an error message about what was wrong. Had to switch to browser version, that worked. On site staff also offered to process the return for me.

Everything was fine except they do not answer their phone. I realized I left a couple of shirts in the truck about 20 min after I left. They forward the phones to the 800 number. By the time I got there the next day the truck was already rented out and by the time it came back they were gone., Their excuse which was pretty lame was that they were busy ( they were not). They never said sorry, I sent an email to the GM from the email receipt. Did I get a response? No. I have already told my friend who was going to move his kid to college to not rent from them to find someone who cares about their customers. Answering phones is part of your job, DO IT. Will never rent from them again. but from the response I got they really dont care. Why would I rent from someone who doesnt care???

We had stored here for more than 20 years. It is very convenient and well maintained. The only negative comment I would have is that the wait time at the front office is long particularly before weekend with lot of vehicle and equipment renters in line and those transactions took a long time. .If you are just buying a few packing material you have to wait a long time just to pay. Also it would be a good thing to have a toilet facility and drinking water for customers.

Reserved a storage unit ahead of time, but it was still locked when I got there. After telling them it was unavailable, I returned 4 hours later with movers ( paying them by the hour) and it was still locked. After 30-40 minutes of waiting with the movers, they finally gave me another storage unit.

It was easy and convenient but overall the experience was just ok. The instructions and options for payment/account maintenance were not clearly articulated. The staff was not rude but not really friendly. Also, when I cleaned out my unit I went to the office to let them know but the account was not closed out properly. I received a late rent notification and it took me calling twice to get it officially closed out. Otherwise, I felt it was clean, safe and what I needed for the time.

U-Haul Associates (trained) don't go over contract and explain all the important necessary items. They make the statement after the fact; read the contract. I believe that is very rude too say to a customer. We trust and believe in your company, that's why we do business with you. Gracias

I would like to cancel my unit. I was told it would be outside facing and big enough to fit 1-2 bedroom. It was a 5*10. In a panic I left and found another storage unit from a different company. I was moving that day and needed one right then. I need to cancel this one entirely. I am not too pleased with uhaul overall, even some of the staff agreed that communication can become misaligned at times.

When I first called to get a unit person over the phone had sold me on things that weren't true asked if I needed insurance they said no that was a lie. Then they gave me a price for the unit when I got there it wasn't the one that I explained to the lady over then phone, so that increased what I had planned on spending and then I went there after hours twice. Had trouble getting in my unit called the number after hours left a voicemail never heard back from Josiah. Worst part is I live 45 mins away wasted time and gas

I have tried to contact the local store a number of times. I moved out during the evening before my next charge on 3 different units. The charge hit at midnight. I have been unable to get refunds. When I call, I am on hold for 20 minutes, the local store answers and they switch me to a national line where I am on hold again. I actually was able to talk to some one at the local store when I moved out of 3291 and they appeared to put notes in the system, but nothing ever happened.

I moved out of the storage May 1st and was told all I need to do is remove my things and lock then let staff know before I leave. I did exactly that. The manager even wrote the storage number on his hand. I thought it was done, but 18 days later I get billed for another month. I called customer service the store to get a refund and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. Some random guy answers he could assist me. He claimed he removed me from auto pay and processed the refund. I didn't believe him and went to the store after work. I found out I was still on auto bill and my account had not been refunded. The guy was able to cancel the auto payment and refund my account. He says it will 3-5 business days to go into my account. I will only rent trucks and trailers from there. I will find another way to store things if needed. Gracias

En ocasiones el estacionamiento está muy lleno y no hay donde estacionarse y cuando uno se está moviendo de reversa, hay automovilistas que pasan muy rápido. No disminuyen la velocidad. Por lo demás, excelente servicio.

Very clean and secure facility, I was happily surprised. Staff was helpful and kind. I support people's choices to wear or not wear one, but typically employees were not following mask mandates. In many of my visits to the facility, they would pass within inches of me with no mask at all. As a cancer patient, if I get sick, I can't get treatment. The reason I needed storage was to live with my mom who is immune suppressed, so we could isolate together. If employees don't want to wear masks, I would like them to do it between themselves, but not within inches of my personal space, as what often happened. I don't take it personal, I would still recommend this location

I have been a long time customer, over 14 years. I've appreciated the facility and never had a problem until January 2021 when my check was received but not credited to my account. When I pointed out the error, it was corrected. Then two weeks later, I got another letter that my account was unpaid. When I talked to the local manager, he explained that someone in Arizona had sent that notice, that my account was fully paid. You can do better.

The front desk staff was rude and not very helpful at all. They seemed more interested in hiding out in the back and hanging out then actually helping customers. I would like to say the staff checking in the trucks were incredibly helpful and made up for the rude front staff.

Y'all helped us with our storage needs! Very much appreciated. Our only issue was that for the big room, there was a beam running through it, and we were not notified of that before paying and accessing. That can make a huge difference in what you can store in there, so you should definitely let customers know beforehand of any obstacles in their storage unit!

I have moved out because I've moved to Houston. I have never seen a nicer storage facility. It was clean, well lighted, well staffed. And the staff was always friendly and helpful - really nice people. It felt very, very safe there. I will really miss it.

This is our third time using this location. The other 2 were excellent experiences. This time was not. We moved in at the start of pandemic and the customer service then was amazing. They helped my daughter during a stressful time. Exactly what I would expect. About 2 months in we encountered problems when we received a late notice on the unit which was set to autopay... according to our bank, Uhaul was attempting to process a payment with an incorrect zipcode so the bank was denying what looked like a fraudulent charge. My bank explained what Uhaul systems were doing wrong and how they could remedy the situation to receive payment. I called Uhaul and explained what they needed to do to fix it. I spent over two hours on hold Through multiple representatives and then was told their systems were down so they couldn't do anything but to call back. This was the first day (one day late) but they agreed to wave the late fee. Someone from Uhaul called me later that night to say the fee was added back until the situation was resolved. I called the next day to make sure it was fixed and the (different) staff member was rude, insinuating dishonesty on my part, and claimed "unable to wave the late fee" because they had already done so once. So after spending over an hour on hold that day I had multiple late fees, disrespectful customer service, and no real resolution. Ironically when they fixed the zipcode in their system-the one USAA said was the issue and Uhaul personnel denied could possibly be the issue-my payment was magically able to be processed along with late fees. Clean safe facilities but unacceptable customer service. Would be difficult to recommend to other families of college students because of this level of disrespect.

Baylee was the best. There was a long line and she was the only one at the desk and was dealing with something that sounded really complicated for the one customer and it was clear others in line we're getting aggravated/anxious. She kept her cool and worked diligently to fix the problem at hand and get to the next customer. Baylee was so friendly when I got to the front and she was so helpful and enjoyable to work with.
