When I booked it online I reserved a 26' truck and when I got there in the morning is was boxed in and unavailable. There was a 20' truck unblocked and able to be accessed so I switched to that one. It was not perfectly cleaned, but it was adequate, possibly because it was not the one planned to be rented. I talked to a person at drop off who said it would be best to book through them directly because they told me when we book online the online service doesn't actually tell them about the booking which was the reason mine was boxed in. The people at the location were awesome and easy to deal with, but I recommend looking at the system to figure out better communication between online booking and the UHaul locations. I booked it Saturday morning and they said they had no information on the booking from the online site which is why it was blocked in. They also had no idea that we had switched to the other truck in the process. I can only imagine the headaches this creates for employees at locations if we choose to book online.

The lighting was a little subpar after the sun went down but that wasn't a huge issue. All in all, 9 out of 10 experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Haley MI've rented lots of u-hauls this time nothing worked, tie downs broke i got one to finally latch, chains broke, and to short to even secure to trailer, lights had broken wire, got pulled over and luckily cop was nice and helped us try to fix the obviously snapped off wire, took us about 20 minutes if not longer trying to fix it on side of road, finally got it after cutting a wire off a harnesses i had in my truck and getting a connection then electrical tapping it. Normally good experience was pretty damn bad, and took hours longer.
Christopher Twe were given A 20 ft. truck and charged for a 20 ft., truck When we ordered a 15 ft. truck at a 15 ft. rate for ease of driving in town for people driving not used to driving trucks, also a15 ft. truck is plenty big for what was needed. I did not see the truck , but the pictures sent to me it did not look to clean. as far as would I recommend U Haul I put " yes" which I would but with comments . The young people that answered the phone when I put the reservation in and when I called to find out why the change in size of truck and amount of rental, were very nice and polite.

The entire STAFF went out of their way to make sure I was taken Care of. Moving is a very Stessful part of life and it gets worse when their are Outside Apartment Complex Owners who Operate in a very questionable manner and they love to force people to move OUT on only a few days notice UHAUL must have a very good training and Development program. I have never ever witnessed or Experienced such a Organization. The Calmness and Experience of the Local Management you very Rarely see. I used to work at Hertz Rental and that company is/was a MESS. It's no surprise to me that they have filled for Bankruptcy. Even the hiring process took way too much time to bring on and train new Drivers. I was very Impressed by the Local Management and the way they treated me, educated me and provides OUTSTANDING service and Support. Your products for sale at the Lincoln Office are very competitive in our area. What ever you are doing to support these people, please keep it up.

Driving east at 7am when the sun came up the glare in the windshield was so bad I had to pull over to try and wipe it off. I received the unit with only 1/4 tank of gas.

I'm assuming the truck wasn't looked over when the last person checked it in because the dolly that is normally zip tied to the truck was not and was rolling around in the back. I had to take time away from my move to call and make sure I wouldn't be charged for it. Also giving someone a truck that only has 1/4 tank of gas to start their move isn't something a person wants to worry about yet I had to. The person who picked their truck up in front of me at the counter also received a truck with 1/4 tank of gas.

When we dropped off the trailer in Denver there was a problem with how the facility in Lincoln documented the paperwork (not one but two mistakes). Once again causing confusion, delay, and processing of paperwork. Overall, a horrible experience. The staff at the Lincoln location was condescending, flippant, and totally unprofessional. I will NEVER use them again.
