Very bad and poor customer service. Double charge my card and I had to file claim with my bank and might take up to 7 business day to get my money back. I did reservation one week to my moving. No one call me days before to confirm. I call one day in advance and they say all was set. Unfortunately, I got a 26 footed instead of the 20 I paid for. Will not recommend that location to anyone. The truck reeked of smoke- I had to drive with the windows down in 0F weather. When I returned the truck I was billed the next day for over 6x the miles I had driven. Extremely poor experience when I simply needed a truck for 2 hours.SIDNEY M.

I would recommend this location to a friend or family member but not if it weren't for ViAnna and Zach. Interactions with the two of them are always pleasant. Both ViAnna and Zach are consistently friendly and helpful, and they manage to keep things light-hearted while remaining professional-- prime examples of great customer service. It would seem the golden apples fall far from the tree though (thankfully) because the facility manager, Leah, and who I assume to be the tree she fell from (Rebecca) have a way of making customers seem like bothersome tasks. Between their passive-aggressive behaviors, the obvious scoffs/eye rolls, and the audible complaints of being "stuck at work late" as they begrudgingly assist customers, it quickly becomes an uncomfortable, unwelcoming environment. As someone who regularly rents through this U-Haul location, I expect to be treated better than the way I've been treated by Leah and Rebecca. Perhaps they need to be reviewed and/or reminded by their superiors (or inferiors) of how they are expected to behave in a customer service position.CHELSI D.

Everything was very good. The only thing wrong was the chart showing the gallons required to get the fuel level back up to 13/16. It was totally full before I got up to the recommended number of gallons. But if that's the worst thing to happen I would call it a good day.John O.

Place was a chaotic disaster. Had a sign that said said pull up and war for attendant. I waited for 15 min until finally figured nobody is ever coming out since I saw trailers unhooked from vehicles just sitting on the ground inline ahead of me. I went in and stood in line and grabbed an attendant. All uhaul has going for it is locations. Else a competitor could easily displace them.Thomas C.

You keep leaving out Dahl's Mini Storage. That's where I originally turned the truck in and paid for the overage on miles. Now you're billing me at the place on 13th for what I've already paid. Since no one's listening, I'll have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I. social media. You are taking advantage of me. This has been a horrific experience with UHAUL.Nancy M.

From Heather's mom who drove the truck: I first turned the trailer and tow dolly into Dahl's Mini Storage. The owner had to catch a flight for a family emergency so his area manager, Scott, took over. The men I'd hired to unload the truck locked my keys in the car. Scott bullied me and essentially said that if I didn't get it done immediately, he'd take possession of my things. I even offered to pay for another day and he said "no, just get your stuff off the truck". I called corporate and the woman there heard him. She said that to help, she was going to send me to another place to drop the trailer and it didn't have to be in until Sunday so I'd have time to hire someone else. (Scott scared them off) I asked about the charge and she said there'd be none because it wasn't my fault. I was so upset and shaky that I fell out of the truck when I moved it elsewhere. I was hurt and 911 had to send help. I'm still in excruciating pain. I was bawling while emergency services helped me. I've never been so upset. This is like a bad nightmare. I turned the trailer in a day early and received a bill of over $250 the next day. We already paid almost $200 over the original cost at Dahl's (and almost $80 for a storage bldg) and this shouldn't have cost anything. I've never had anything like this happen with UHaul. You're usually professional. I'm shocked and angry. The Uhaul place on 13th Street is the total opposite of Dahl's. They're kind and helpful.nancy m. | First Impressions

My locker was broken into. The cop already knew how before he even saw the locker because he said they had already been there multiple times for the same thing. So that tells me the staff knew and still fails to inform tenants. No one ever tried to reach me from uhual. I was charged for more than was on my reservation quote.DARIN W.
My closing date kept changing, so I had to extend my rental. After spending 20 minutes on hold ( this was the 4th call to this location & I was finally not disconnected) I was told that I was not allowed to make changes to my rental, as my driver's license was not on file. So my driver, who was working on a job site out of town, had to call to make the extensions. When my closing date changed again, my driver was told the truck was reserved to someone else that day, so the truck would have to be returned. Upon return, there were 3 trucks that size in the lot. I had to rent another truck to get my move completed; it was very inconvenient to have to switch trucks mid move and it took an extra trip because of the small truck size. The 1st truck cab smelled of cigarettes & the furniture pads were folded on the wheel box. Neither the pads or dolly (still connected to the truck) were used, but I was charged for their use. It took a lot of searching to find an itemized list of charges after returning the truck. It's been many years since renting from Uhaul, I after this experience, I cannot foresee returning in the future.Joseph M.

I called a week ahead of time to book a 26 ft. truck. i needed 26 feet. The battery was dead when I tied to start my rental. They said they only had a 20 foot available. A 26 foot was in the lot and one pulled up but i was told I had to take the 20 foot unit. No discount was offered even when I said I need a 26 foot. I was dealing with the manager who is abrasive and rude. Would never bother with this company again. Waste of money.MITCHELL D.
The experience was great overall, but I would recommend retiring or repairing this cargo trailer due to the back door and mechanism. One time it rolled very far up into the structure of the trailer and the hook got jammed in there, causing us to have to pull hard backwards and hope our fingers didn't get pinched. Everything went really, really well until I went to try to get into Bay 3/4. I wasn't told that the bay doors were locked and I didn't know how to get in. I went back to the office but no one was there to help (busy smoking out front) so I watched the monitor to see what other people were doing and I figured it out on my own. I would have preferred someone explaining it to me correctly the first time.....that I needed to enter my code twice in two different spots to get in.
