Our first trailer rental was cancelled, and we had rented it before the website had the disclaimer about rentals. The gal that called was very rude and didn't offer any suggestions or solutions. The website is horrible so it took us forever, but we were finally able to find a 15' truck, as we didn't need a bigger one which was also way more expensive and U-Haul, a multi-million dollar company, apparently couldn't afford to offer us anything. We had to drive 70 miles to pick up the truck, plus the 70 miles back to load it, and we weren't even offered more mileage or days. To improve, just help people and don't be rude about it. Take into consideration that there is a pandemic and people are having to travel to pick up a U-Haul, and offer more mileage or an extra day.Sabrina M.

If a customer makes a reservation for a teuck you should have it available. Moving is already stressful. Making reservations then showing up to only find you dont have a truck available then having me spend half a day running around to different locations telling me that a truck is ready for me then when i get there no truck is available is completely unacceptable and very poor customer service. And dont get me started on your associate that yelled at me until she was red in the face. I was very dissatisfied and stressed out after my experience with uhaul. I literally had an anxiety attack. I looked at my emailed reservation it didn't have it on there, I stopped it when they was loading the dolly asked does it come with the rental or was it extra. Was told mileage was unlimited one way. When went to return the truck to Bakersfield (drop off location) from Lancaster (pickup location) was charged an additional approximately $55 due to going over the mileage. I am highly upset at the misinformation provided and lack of customer service. I put in a claim/complaint (ref# 2931055) in which was denied. Due to lack of assistance and customer service, I will not use U-haul services again in the future. I have requested review of my claim/complaint by a manager!Keyona S.

Please make certain to check all vehicles when returned to you for signs of cigarette smoke. Every time I rent a truck from U-Haul, they always stink of cigarette smoke even though there is a no-smoking sticker on the dashboard. U-Haul needs to do a better job of enforcing this policy.SANTIAGO C.

In the last rent (2nd time), I waited more than 2 hours and they can't fix the trailer broken signal lights. I ended up going to a different location to rent a trailer. Customer service was rude, combative and yelled at me in the parking lot to move the vehicle that I was returning to another spot that was not only unavailable was inaccessible. I told them to move it and I was told in no uncertain terms "no YOU MOVE IT!!!!" I was yelled at. My unit was tampered with once and broke into the once. When they broke in, they totally ransacked everything. They were not able to get anything on camera because my unit was in a "blind spot". There insurance did not cover anything because the they stated that I provided proof of insurance. I did not have my own insurance. There was also some female living in one of the units at the time. They gave me 3 months free rent but after two months they began to charge me again. I was moved into a new unit that was by a camera.
