I had a decent experience they didn't have it ready and waiting I was handed a key and had to go out and find it myself, and then it ran but it sounded like it might fall apart it squeak and it seemed to have a hard time to go.Cindy D.

The customer service was terrible when I returned the truck I rented. I returned the truck an hour and a half late which I understand there are fees for that. This was not my issue. I pulled into the return equipment spot and took my belongings out. Not once did the guy come out to check on me or the vehicle. The next thing observed the lights went out. It was 7 pm and I observed him walk through a door into the garage. Meanwhile I am still in the parking lot. A woman walked out of the garage and I asked for some help and she didn't work for the company it was his wife. At that point I was online and followed the return instructions. The 26 foot truck I reserved 3 weeks in advance was not available. I only discovered this when I called at 4 pm to confirm pickup. At that time I was told there was one 45 miles away and that I could go get that one for a reduced rate. Seriously? I ended up with a 15 foot truck and didn't complete my move. I had to argue to get the $50 reservation guarantee refund. If they had just originally apologized and I wouldn't have been so upset. But to tell expect that I would drive a 90 mile round trip to pick up the truck i reserved at that location is totally ridiculous.PETER C.

I returned my truck a day early. Was asked if they could email me my receipt. I agreed to have it emailed. Two days later someone from this location called me at 7:00 am to ask me when I was going to return my truck. Let them know I returned it 2 days before. When he asked who I returned it to, I checked my email and never received the email. I will never use uhaul again and will let everyone I know about my experiences with Uhaul. When calling the store I was on hold for over 20 minutes and when someone actually answered, it was not someone in the store itself but a U-Haul answering service type thing. I needed to talk to someone directly at that specific store for a specific question. The person I spoke with made me wonder if they really knew the answer to my question. All around poor experience , declined insurance they charged me 10 bucks for it anyways , when I went to pick up the guaranteed rental I booked online he said he didn't have the truck I said well the website said you owe me 50 bucks as it was supposed to be a guarantee and not only that I could see the pickup truck outside and he tried to offer me a a moving truck instead. He changed his tune after I brought up the 50 dollar guarantee and guess what? The truck was magically available after I said that. They gave me the â€œmanagers number â€œ guess what ? I was supposed to have a 26 ft truck and they called me and said that it broke down. I said well I have a lot of stuff to move and my time is limited. He gave me a smaller truck and gave me more time at no additional cost, which was accommodating. I get in the truck and the floor was nasty, and they left an appliance dolly in the back of the truck which I didn't order. When I returned the truck the rep was so unprofessional and didn't care that the truck wasn't cleaned and didnt care about my concerns with covid.Danielle B.

When I originally reserved the truck online it for the 20' truck for 8 hrs. My time was changed to 5 hrs without my knowledge and then the truck size was changed to 15' by that location at the last minute and again the time was changed. The truck size being smaller than expected ruined my whole moving day plan, making us late for everything including the drop-off time. To say the least, I was not at all happy with the situation and to top it all off not all the employees were wearing face masks like they were supposed to. Not a happy customer.Trina R.

The only thing I would say is don't let someone who is not trained fully work by themselves because that's how he rented me a storage unit that was already rented out! Heather Poore is OUTSTANDING! First, she took my initial phone call, answered all my questions and made me feel comforted in having to handle a last-minute, unplanned move of my college student due to coronavirus. Then when I arrived from NJ the next day, her smiling face met me and she again calmly explained everything and got me set up. This is my first time renting storage; she was patient, helpful and didn't rush me. Then I made three trips to the facility in the next 24 hours. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the access to carts, the security, etc. I can't say enough about how Heather went above and beyond and how all the little things she did added up to reducing my stress in a time when I greatly appreciated it. Also, thanks for the one-month free for displaced college students. I thought that was a very classy and empathetic move by UHaul.
