It really wasn't the location's fault as there was a ton of confusion in location and they were severely understaffed and the customer service reps that were there had limited knowledge of to satisfy my needs. I was charged more than I was supposed to and the gentleman trying to assist couldn't and I was in there for 3-4 hours all together.SAMANTHA H.

I booked a reservation for a pickup truck at this location, and my reservation was confirmed. When I got there I was not only told there weren't any pickups available but there weren't any cargo vans either. They upgraded me to the 10' box truck. This wasn't an issue, but I was then told I would have to pay 99 cents a mile instead of the original 59 cents a mile I booked and was confirmed for. I was told to ask to lessen the charge when I return the equipment, but the reps I dealt with didn't seem to want to help. So they told me I would be getting a call later that day from the manager to possibly get the rate lowered to what was quoted, but instead of receiving a call I just got billed and I received the receipt for the $.99 per mile. I didn't get the equipment or the rate I was promised at no fault of my own, and I had to pay more because of it. Very unhappy with this location.Connor K.

The truck pick up was a disaster as far as having the truck ready. There was a zip tie on our unit and it wasn't made clear if we were to cut it off or them. The clerk had no idea if the lock was included even tho I checked in online the night before and paid and signed and I got an email stating there was a lock which was laying on floor in unit once the movers we hired removed the zip tie. But shouldn't the clerks know the specials? The unit was clean and the store was clean and it's a busy place so they must take care of their units so ask me again In 6-8months how my items are and I will know more for review.Nicole b. | Online Move In
We did the online check in the night before. Got to the location to have to wait 45 minutes or more to get the truck which they had to clean while we waited and they stated the gas was just below 1/4 tank. As soon as we pulled out of the drive the low fuel light came on and we had to worry about timing getting gas with the movers we had hired through uhaul. The movers were above and beyond amazing but uhaul was kind of a let down. Why check in and submit your license online just to have to wait anyway and give all the info all over again. Plus they forgot to give us the large furniture dolly. Hopefully I get the refund I was promised if u filled the tank to an actual quarter tank full. We shall see I suppose.Nicole B.

Only one person working when we picked up the truck and one person working when we dropped it off. We had to wait 15+ minutes to get someone to help us in the lobby and there were several more customers behind me. I was not happy one bit. You need more staff to better serve your customers.Jason L.

the gas level and mileage was not correct and it was not adjusted after I pointed it out . mileage was 12 miles higher than paperwork it appears this store is understaffed.DONALD G.
I went over my mileage due to have 2 loads from lake wales to Tampa. I returned the truck on time with almost full tank of fuel but the wouldn't help a retired Army guy. Very disappointed!Kevin B.

The gentleman who helped me did not explain a couple important things. I had never driven that type of vehicle and was not given some very important information. Where the gas inlet was. It took me about 15 mins to find out. I had to use the owners manual to find it. Because of that I Just missed the closing time. Then when I dropped my key in the box it looked like I was supposed to follow a certain procedure to check the truck back in. I was not told about that. I thought I would have to pay an extra $20 because I hadn't done it. Last thing. When asked how long I would need the truck, I said probably until almost closing (it was 8 am). The clerk put 4 hours on the contract. Again I thought I would be charged extra. It was a somewhat nerve racking experience. I don't know if that is really an average but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I will say this though, when I came in the day before to reserve the truck. One of the guys who was checking out ( a different clerk about to get off) started the process for the other clerk before he left. That was above average . The people and location were excellent. The 24/7 website return system was WORTHLESS. I spent an hour the night before trying to self return the trailer. First, your website could not interact with my phone browser. Then your website could not receive my location from my wife's phone (I had her come so that I could use her phone ). When I finally got to the last page (I deleted six of my apps to gain memory and used a different browser) and clicked "Finish Return" your poorly designed technology went back to the first page. Your system wasted an hour of my life and 30 minutes of my wife's. If UHaul did not have a monopoly on trailer rentals, I would never use you again. The team that convinced corporate to install this heartless, useless piece of machinery into your processes should be fired. Whenever I have dealt with human beings at UHaul, I have always been treated with respect and helpfulness. Whenever I have dealt with your computers, I have finished being frustrated and angry. My suggestion is to hire more personnel on the ground and fewer at the corporate offices, and eliminate or actually improve your technology.MARK P.

Just wanted to note that we were on our way to Albuquerque and experienced a blow out of one of the tires on the car trailer. We called in an emergency and It took 3 1/2 hours before anyone came and replaced the tire. This is very unacceptable. I would rate the emergency maintenance process poorly.OSCAR C.

The facility on Waters Avenue in Tampa is outstanding with one complaint. The areas where one would need to unload into the storage facility at the doors are jam packed with employee vehicles and U Haul trucks making unloading and moving into the storage unit a serious hassle.
