The people were very friendly however the equipment was very dirty on the inside of the trailer. Picked up a second one and it was oily too. Did not realize it just like the 1st one until got it to where ready to load your spent an hour trying to get it off the floor. When I turned it in Greensboro North Carolina They had not switched the serial number From the 1st dirty one that I brought back. Greensboro store was rude and told me I needed to take it all the way back to Columbia South Carolina. They refused to check it in until I made them call South Carolina. The truck was empty they told me he would discount me if I brought it back to what the paper said he did not discount me I asked for a one way move and he told me that's what he put down but again a lie so I was charged for another 20 plus miles he said he would take it off he did not. Windshield was cracked, there was a crack in the bumper of the truck. The gentleman waiting on me was concerned with his coworkers, he didn't speak to me about the rental. He walked over to the garage and grabbed a random dolly and not the one I reserved. Never explained anything about the truck. This was my first time renting a Uhaul and I don't believe I will rent another again.April D.
Well I was trying to return my truck after hours about 7:50, the truck was due @8 but I had a problem because obviously the miles didn't add up say I traveled less miles than what was on before I started, so I guess I was driving the truck backwards, so do try to charge me no late fee for yall mistake thanksVALVETA P.

The seats in the truck that I rented it were completely wet . When I got out of the truck after having driven it for about 12 miles the bottom and back legs of my pants were soaking wet!Otha D.
The agent was good. But I reserved a truck and it was not ready (fully cleaned, deodorized, etc). The agent stated that but no other vehicle was offered and I had to pick up items today at the time I reserved. The truck should not have been in circulation at all, that's how bad it smelled.Faye D.

When arrived at location, salesperson said he did not need my paperwork just unhook the trailer and they would check it in with the trailer number, four days later seen withdrawal from card for four more days rental, tried to call you only put on hold, finally got chat online and claim number no return call this is poor businessMITCHELL G.

I've been bombarded with incorrect billing amounts and a call from some person a few days after I turned in the trailer. She asked me why I had not returned the trailer. I told her when I had returned it and even parked it where the man told me to put it. Talked with two customer service reps who told me the manager of the store where I picked up the trailer and returned it on time would call me. So, then I got a call from a store on Lebanon, MO. I disputed the bill and received a call from a manager of a store in Lebanon, Mo . He was named Chris at telephone number 417-664-9690 and he called to tell me the problem had been resolved, he said there was another charge for $29.11. He went on to tell me the trailer was at his store in Missouri. Two erroneous charges of $466.07 and $29.11 appeared on my account and I have disputed them.. At this point, I contacted Apple support to file a disputed claim. The two charges are for $466.97 and $29.11. The total amount should have been $362..70. Another charge for $13.44 is correct. If it is included in the totals, the amount I agreed to pay is $362.70.. it was for two rentals in March for $174.63 each plus $13.44. The total correct amount is $362.70. It appears to me that Jonathan Paymon failed to check in my trailer and to further complicate things, he rented it out to someone going to Missouri where it was turned in. So, I'm being charged for a trailer that was turned in in Missouri after I turned it in in Columbia SC where it wasn't logged in as returned on March 26, 2021 Need I say more? This has been a total nightmare.Rodney K.
Woefully understaffed. Young man working there was very nice, but clearly was overwhelmed trying to do the work of three people by himself. It took me almost an hour to rent a truck, most of it simply waiting for him to come inside the store and help me.STEVEN M.

The first location on Garnersferrys road was permanently closed when attempted to pic up my truck on the day my reservation. The truck that I was given had a defective muffler. It was so loud that we could barely here each other communicate inside the truck wifh the windows up and the gas needle was barley past the quarter tank mark. The truck was very hard to drive it felt like the alignment was off. And there was a hole in the tire when I got the truck. Also when I was waiting to get the truck they allowed customers in the store without a mask.Kassie H.

The price per mile was said to be 39 cent when I went in to get the u-haul and on my receipt it said it was 79 cent that's a 40 cent difference that's not good business. Very concerned customer and I have use this location in the passed.SHARON H.

I first reserved a 5x8 trailer at the Elmwood location in Columbia. Upon arrival, a uhaul worker was threatened with a knife outside while looking at the trailer. This location needs more than just a pregnant woman working there. After police left, I hooked up to the trailer and went back inside to sign the contract only to find out that the trailer had been stolen and was not able to be rented. Also, there were no other 5x8s on the site. I was then told to go to the two notch location where the two men working did an amazing job and were extremely nice.Richard W.

I was sent to this location because UHaul's computer system did NOT have my trailer at the scheduled location for pick up. Apparently Uhaul's new/upgraded software has a glitch which does NOT reserve your online request at the location as it reflects. Luckily they were able to locate another in the area that AM or I would have had a huge problem trying to move on our scheduled day. The Two Notch location has a large selection of trailers and the location was clean and trailer was ready. My only complaint it that the time to pick up the trailer was over an hour because the location only had one individual working. He did great trying to juggle the multiple people in line but when you are on a schedule and moving, waiting for an hour + was very frustrating (especially after being sent here from another location).Catherine B.

Truck was dirty and obviously had not been cleaned since returned. In the middle of Covid-19, we were surprised that we had to sanitize it ourselves. The outside was unwashed as well. U-Haul completely misrepresented the total charges due. The pick-up location was changed and we received a text to confirm pickup info but nothing was said that there had been a change in location. It only confirmed the order details, with a different address. That text should have said something to the fact that THERE IS A CHANGE IN LOCATION FOR YOUR EQUIPMENT PICKUP! TERRIBLE customer service. I'll use another company next time and warn my friends/family.Debra E.

I reserved my truck at least a week in advance called 3 days before to confirm the rental of truck and equipment, and again the day before. I was on a bit of a time constraint, I just wanted to make sure it was going to be correct. I arrived around 7ish am when the shop opened went in and first he could not find my reservation, finnaly found it, then he said he did not have the 2 utility dollies I requested. He would not say anything other than he didn't have them. I had to plead with him for the dollies. He said he was sorry he didn't have any. After a bit of back and forth he said he would have a look in some of the trucks. And disappeared for bit and finnaly found them. The truck he gave me was the most banged up truck in the lot. It also turned out to have an Anti lock brake issue as well Wich required road side assistance. And the stearing wheel was mis aligned. I got the impression I was given the worst truck in the lot because it was a one way rental so they would not have to deal with it. One last thing about this location, they did not go over the contract with me. The explanation of the allotted milage was not made clear and I thought I was in for a much higher bill. The manager at my drop off location was good enough to explain the whole thing for me Wich only took a moment. There are 10 other uhaul locations with in 20 min of this one I will not go back to this shop.JUSTIN B.
