nickle and dimed to death, paid over $75 for a $29 rental. The truck had a dolly in the back with a zip tie. I didn't request it but had to remove it because I needed the space to slide cases in. I told the guy who inspected the truck on return yet I was charged for it anyway.

Got truck with the wire belts showing on two front tires and didnt notice unroll I was done moving and got stranded at gas station. Now I'm being charged over 400 dollars for them.

I rented online & checked in online & still had to wait 20 mins in line b/c no clear indication that I should be in any other line. Then there was a customer that started yelling racially motivated comments to the lady behind the counter because someone was going to be able to go in front of her b/c they did it online. Then I was charged double because I was checked in late. When what happened was I couldn't get in the return line b/c there were too many trucks in the way. I parked where I picked up the truck then the guy told me i needed to move it to the line. Another customer had blocked my truck in at this point & the attendant had to get in and move it. He then walked away and another attendant started my check in...I was already an hour late for work so I just accepted the charge because the line was 6 people deep inside, but am highly upset that I paid double for being 25 mins late even though I wasn't late at all! THEY SHOULD IMPOSE A LATE FEE NOT A WHOLE DAYS RENTAL ANYWAY!!! I wasn't even moving! I did a single mother a favor that needed to move & had no one to help her. I rented a truck & two movers for 3 hours!! Then I get charged double because the return lane was inaccessible & the online return thing was acting up!

problem is, I did not book a truck at this location and ONLY found out I had to pick up at that location AFTER I went to the location I booked at on St. Claude. That cost me time AND money. I was told I was notified but I WAS NOT. Maybe someone tried to send me a message through telepathy but certainly was NOT notified by email, text, phone, or USPS letter. Because of this and because your agents did nothing to rectify the situation I will not use UHAUL again and will be sure to let others know of my bad experience. Not to mention, look for bad reviews on all the online forums as well. Customer service should be a priority and not just making money off of people.

These guys were the most exceptional crew I could've asked for. I encountered some problems and they went out of their way to help me. They were super friendly, positive, and kind. If I was stuck on a deserted island with 4 people, I'd chose these fellas because their ingenuity, positivity, and problem solving skills would have us off the island before I even got a tan.

I had to ask personnel to come help us disconnect trailer from our RV to attach to a U-Haul truck. They just stood around until we asked again. Then they were very helpful.

This is my second uhaul truck that I returned and the mileage was recorded incorrectly and I was overcharged! The manager at the Tulane New Orleans location never called me back or tried to follow up on the situation. No word about returning my money. I am very upset. THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO UHAUL EVER AGAIN!

Have your employees help during inspection of rental vehicles going out. That way your customers don't have to go look for assistance to rent your vehicles. Also U-haul needs more then one employee checking in all the return vehicles at rush hour.

I was suppose to have a 24/7 mobile checkout. During the checkout process a truck was assigned to me and someone else. He left in the truck but my card was authorized for the cost of the rental. Then I had to stand in line for an hour to to see an representative. Have my card authorized for additional funds, pay more for a larger truck because, and a security deposit that wasn't required while booking online. Through this all no one was apologetic as if this was an everyday situation and that I should accept things as is, through it all not one person apologized for the inconvenience. I'll have to think hard before using this location again.

The customer service representatives were awesome! I picked up a truck shortly before the close of business on Friday and the agent was still full of energy and extremely helpful. When I returned the vehicle on Saturday the gentleman outside made me feel as though I had just pulled up for valet service. He was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this Uhaul location and definitely utilize it again in the near future. Thanks for a great custom service experience guys!!! 👍

Rude lady at counter. Gave me a truck without a ramp and I requested one. Also, I asked for an appliance dolly with the straps and I got some bullshit little dolly. It took me forever to unload the truck bc there wasn't a ramp or right dolly, and I called to say I'd be late bc of these issues they caused, they treated me like shit and charged me for an extra day. I'll never use this location again, I'll also tell my real estate agent wife's office coworkers to recommend never using this place.

When we arrived, one staff member seemed more interested in her chocolate than attending to customers. Our orientation to the storage unit wasn't very thorough, the staff member could be seen taking a smoke break across the street after giving us a nonfunctioning card and telling us it would be operational the next time we came to the unit. A bolt was missing on our particular storage unit's locking mechanism, which proceeded to fall completely off when we tried to close the door. This was fixed onsite and promptly, however was also time consuming and confidence-eroding. Lastly, the trailer unloaders weren't particularly kind. Before it was discovered that I had been given the wrong trailer in Chattanooga, their demeanor was accusatory and skeptical. Upon presenting my contract to the office, the receptionist waited on the phone for the other facility for 10-15 minutes at which point she gave up and requested that I call the Chattanooga location the next day, get the contracts swapped, and then call the Tulane Uhaul manager to make sure the problem had been sorted. This should have been Uhaul's responsibilty to sort out a mistake that was made by their own staff, and was particularly infuriating given that we were in the process of relocating and orchestrating other matters.-

I had to check conditions of the Vehicle along with out an employee to only find doors interior handles broken, then go back into the front desk to get them to change out said Vehicle and start all over with another Vehicle. I am giving excellent because the staff was very pleasant and helpful. I do have a problem because in the description of the storage unit it said 5xx8x10 and it is not that it is 5x8 at the front but it drops down to 4 or 3 foot. I really needed a storage unit as advertised. I will need to get into the storage unit often. I do not want to have to go and have to remove everything or close to everything just to get items out and put it all back just have to take it all out again to put it all back. I did not say anything the day I took possession because I was extremely tired and did not want to lose my temper. I hope that we can work something out because honestly it is misleading and I expect better of U-Haul.

If I check in on line and do the pictures and everything why do I have to do it again. They had a bunch of people working there and only one could check out customers? I don't understand the whole phone call to check back up numbers and my number. I rent from uhaul at least once a year. On line is supposed to be a faster check in but it still takes forever to get the trailer and go.

See review for contract # 20320911 for the full story. This location knowingly gave us a damaged truck that was taken out of service the day before we were scheduled to pick up a truck, and they did not properly secure the trailer to it either. It ended up popping off while were loading our car and hit me in the leg. My mother, who was in the car, could have gotten hurt, not to mention our vehicle could have been damaged in the fiasco.

I originally had a pickup location on Holiday Dr. (I have a screen shot of the confirmation). Two days later, I get on the site to add a trailer, and see that it was switched without my consent to a location in Slidell, which is almost an hour away. Come to find out, the first location I selected is out of business, yet was still listed on the Uhaul site. The email I received about the switch came at 4:36 p.m. two days later (I ended up finding it in my junk mail), but the link it had on it to communicate that this did not work for me, didn't work. It went to a 404 error page. Also, I don't understand why, when they realized the error, they did not call or even pick another location in the same town. Why pick a town an hour away? Then, Saturday morning, the day of my move, we discovered the trailer was not attached correctly, because when we were posting the car, it popped off and hit me in the leg. Between that and the fact that my mom was in the car we were loading on, as it turns out, an inappropriately secured trailer, someone could have really gotten hurt. And that wasn't even the only potentially dangerous issue. Sunday we found out that the Uhaul place in New Orleans knowingly gave us a truck that had a damaged tire and rim because that was the only 15 foot truck they had. Even the woman at the Uhaul location in Milton said that we should have been offered a 20 foot truck at the price we were paying for the 15 foot truck. But no, they knowingly gave us a truck that was taken out of service, then never serviced before they gave it to us, and the tire blew out on a trip that was less than 250 miles. I am extremely unhappy with this entire Uhaul experience, particularly the damaged equipment and the fact that I got hit by the improperly secured trailer, and that my mother could have gotten hurt as well, not to mention that our vehicle could have been damaged.

They gave me the truck with less than a quarter of a tank no big deal. So I tried to stop and fill it up and the gas tank was clogged it took 20 mins to put $5 in it not exaggerating. And then they charged me $80 for bringing it back on E even though that's what it came to me on. Terrible service

Hire more men to work in the lot. One man to take trucks in, take trucks out, do propane and attach/detach trailers. He was so overworked! One man for about 10 customers all getting annoyed, not fair to worker.

The process for picking up the truck using the mobile website was slow and painful. The website kept having errors when trying to enter information, and while there was some helpful information in the original email about mobile pickup, it was buried too deep for me to notice at first. It would be much better to encourage customers to fill out relevant information ahead of time.

This place has a severe mouse and roach problem. They will NOT warn you beforehand. Many of my items were damaged. I am thoroughly disgusted! There is no excuse for such poor maintenance!

Moved out on the 15 of June but was still charged the entire month . I should been refund for half month rent of storage .

Storage paid up until 24th I moved on 2nd , was denied prorated rent. I was told by 2 phone reps it should be prorated. Safe to say U guys making double money on the same unit.
