I was not aware that your trucks had a governor on them. It felt unsafe on interstate highways when I could not go faster than 75 and was not able to keep up with the flow of traffic. I spoke to someone else who rented a truck recently and he indicated that he could not go above 87. This seems a more reasonable setting, should the need arise to have a governor set at all. If there is going to be a governor setting max speed, that should be clearly communicated.Mark M.

This evaluation has nothing to do with the facility and the nice lady that was working. This is a company issue. I was slated to return the vehicle at 5pm the next day. Instead, I returned before you opened. You actually charged me $20 for dropping it off early!!!! I cannot believe UHaul would do this. I actually allowed you to make more money for a full day's use. I rented a 9 foot cargo van on Saturday with a pickup time of 3 pm. The wait time was long due to the number of customers being processed at that time with only one representative present. We have used this facility twice. We booked indoor climate controlled unit. The first time was seemless and our things were in good shapre when we moved out. The scond time was not a good experience. We showed up in May with 2 car loads of things to store with a reservation that we booked on line. We were told that they would not honor that reservation for climate control as there were no left. We had to catch our plane so had not other choice but to take a larger non climate controlled bay that cost nearly double!! When i spoke to the manager they gave us a slight discount but did not make up for the difference. Also when we picked up our things many of the linens were ruined as they were covered with spiders grasshopers and had a smell that was not removed with washing. We had a delay to my moms health and had the truck an extra 7 days. Every time I called uhaul to let them know, they were great. We had to call roadside assistance at 1 am, they were great. The only bad experience we had was with Marissa at the China Spring location. Very rude when I spoke with her. She didn't believe me when I told her who we had spoken to at uhaul or the fact that her location was not our drop off point. That was the only negative in our whole uhaul experience. Thank you to all the Uhaul employees who went above and beyond to help us move my mom.Sara W.

I used the uhaul app.... worked on and off while I was trying to pick up. When I finally got it all checked in, I went to get the key and you guys say, skip the line.... well nope I wasn't able to. Had to wait. And then when I dropped off the uhaul the app wouldn't work period and I ended up just having to drop it off with out returning on the app or anywhere. And was charged $20 for using it "after hours". Plus not to mention all the added fees. It told me with insurances added it be $45. Then I return it and they charged me for mileage but I used it in town? So an extra $40 later, what should have been the easiest part of our move was the most stressful and not worth our time. I'm a repeat customer, many times now and I don't think I'll be back.Krystal S.

gas gauge registered one mark less than what was recorded on my contract, which i wasn't able to review prior to arriving back home because their printer was not operational when i picked the 10' truck up. while they were nice to note that fact on my contract, there wasn't anyway to revise the contract. my main gripe with U-Haul was with their 800# for where to return the truck. they allocated me an address 19-minutes away from my destination address, and it was only through my effort that I found there was a U-Haul immediately behind (less than 1 block) my destination address. if I'd not called and changed the drop-off address, I would have paid extra mileage to take it to the suggested drop off location.RUSSELL H.

The gas gauge did not want to reset as I was pumping gas. Did not know the fuel level. It decided on its own to reset to the current level after I pumped an extra 1/3 of a tank on top of what I used during the move. It would be nice to know what kind of mileage to expect so we can estimate the fuel usage.ISAAC L.

It was severely understaffed and I paid for a dolly and never even got it. I arrive at 10:15 for my pickup and wasn't even given a truck till 11. It was horrible. The women working were trying there hardest and doing as best as they could but Uhaul has a problem by understaffing and over working. Just spread out the load instead of force it on 2 people.Shane S.
My first pick up got canceled and reset,with everyone knowing and then ,I set up a new pick up about six(6) days out and I got text and phone calls at least 1-2 times a day. Then some called asking me and wanting feed back ,I told him what I disliked and he told me to turn my ringer off if I don't want a phone call !!! Total missed my point and frustration. To many calls or text and emails. No matter how many times uhaul calls or sends out messages, calls if the person that set the pick up want to cancel they will so it does not matter. There was 3 people there when we first arrived but within min. There were one man . He was bombarded with customers I felt really bad for him. It took me well over one hr just to get my storage # from him. Then I took my equipment back a day early and there were no perks or opportunity to get anything back for early return in fact they said I was over mileage by 2 or 3 miles. We rent from UHaul numerous times a year. This has been the most upsetting, unprofessional, uncaring, unhelpful, unethical experience I have had with the UHaul brand. This is day 4 of my trying to get an issue resolved. I have noted every excuse given from Alissa at this location this includes; I cannot explain the charges, I see where they are off but, I don't know how to help you, we don't have a person that works here by the name on your rental contract, the other guy works two jobs and I can't get a hold of him, I have not had time to check I have other things I had to get done for myself off the clock and the list goes on. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this UHaul experience that has not been resolved I have been told I will need to wait until the General Manager comes in tomorrow and speak with her. The employees have completely put it on the customer to correct their processing error.LARRY P.

We went to 13 locations on the map first and only one other was open. It was the one that showed to have the trailer we reserved but they didn't have one. We finally found this location which was out of our way but they location was excellent and the lady was very friendly and helpful. 1) On the trailer - it is against OSHA guidelines to twist chains but that is what they had me to do to pull your trailer. 2) since the chains are so long (and now twisted and heavy) they swing and unplug the cheap trailer plug you use. Uhaul should correct these issues before you rent trailers again.Martin H.

I am extremely upset with U-Haul storage for one reason and it's the main reason I even chose it. While I was reserving a U-Haul online i was given the opportunity to also select a storage and get the first month free. That is the ONLY reason I decided to reserve a storage. My confirmation and reservation on my app even said the first month would be free and my first payment isn't due until next month, but of course after moving for hours and finally getting to Waco I was told my first month would not be free because I'm taking one of the last two available and of course I had already moved everything to the location and had no choice to stay unless I wanted to call and hope for a last minute stowage unit elsewhere. Attendant answered all questions and made sure I understood the policies. Facility was very clean attendant was professional and pleasant. I would recommend this facility even though I think rates are higher than I expected. I did a one way move so I got one month free coupon. The elevator was a great help.
