Your computer system was down. Receptionist was pathetic with no customer concern or solution. All employees had zero initiative without any leadership. I was directed to call another local number in Memphis. Person there could verify my reservation even though I presented a paper copy. That person did a great job. Why couldn't the summer ave employee help customers by call the other number and assisting in confirming a reservation and getting customers on the road rather than saying “I have no idea when the system will come up and no reservations of equipment can be released. There were 4-5 parties all waiting. You all need more customer service training. Seriously, you can release equipment without a backup plan??? Really sad you run a business this way. Hire people who care.

I called the six Uhauls nearest me (1400 Audubon Point Drive, Horn Lake MS 38637 and was told by each they had no 6 X 12 enclosed trailers. No one had any advise as to how I could locate one and I needed it within 24 hours. I kept calling stores further away from me until I reached a transmission shop in Memphis who rented Uhauls and they gave me a phone number I could call where this trailer could be located nearest me. Wow. Why didn't the first 6 tell me that. I called the number he gave and they immediatley found a trailer about 45 minutes from me and told me to go on line and reserve it. I did and made an account and even checked in to expedite my pick up. When I arrived to the Summer Ave location, I was told I needed to go "somewhere else" to get a trailer because her computer system was down. I explained that I had already confirmed there were no other trailer around and really needed this trailer to move to another state. She could not help. I explained I had already checked in and had my confirmation number and Uhaul already had my credit card number and the amount of charge and could just bill it when the system came up. I again suggested she did call someone. Eventually she did and they OKd this so I got my trailer. But " go somewhere else"? Really? That was her first reaction? Like I was bothering her phone time (which I believe I was)

I had a enclosed trailer reserved. When I got there I was told they should not ha e reserved it because they didn't have the size I requested. The lady offered me a smaller trailer. I took it because I was pressed for time. Some of the items I needed to move got rained on because they were too long to let the door down. The lady behind the counter was very helpful.

The rep was very rude. She never asked for estimated miles. She just charged the amount she wanted to. I tried to purchase packing supplies. I could not do to the rep saying she could not find the item in the system even though I had it in my hand. I even offered to purchase online. I still received terrible assistance. The Austin Peay location was the best service I have received.

Better customer service. Got back before 7 pm they wouldn't take truck back and had to do online and didn't know where key was supposed to be returned at. Took 30 minutes to find. Had to change card to pay took until Friday to get my daughter funds released. Will not go back again.

The trailer I rented is a 6'x12' trailer with a ramp. I needed it to move a 5.5' wide machine. The rear of the trailer has flair on each side that cuts in about 8”. This effectively makes the trailer less than 5 feet wide. It did not work for my purposes and was a complete waste of my time and money. This should be part of the description on the website.

Tire pressures should be checked more frequently. The right side tire only had 10psi in it. I had to add air.

Truck wasn't dirty but it needs to be taken off the road for repair. I could barely keep it in the lane and on the road. There was so much slack in the steering wheel, it was VERY hard to keep it on the road. I was pressed for time or I would have exchanged it. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

This was a well explained, smooth process, for a very important move for my family, I didn't need any extra issues to come up, UHaul made this part of the move as smooth as possible. They were accommodating, professional, and easy to work with. I actually missed my pick up window, and they still took care of me, at the drop off, the gentleman took the keys and said I didn't have to do anything else. I got my final receipt within the next morning. Process complete, Thank You Uhaul for your wonderful service!

I really think that if I go through the process of online check-in, it's counter-intuitive to have to go inside and wait in a line. Also, my pickup location changed and I was not notified until I had already arrived at the original pickup location.

I want to commend Mike and maybe Joey at our dispatch location on frontage road in Meridian. Our truck wasn't available and it was suggested we drive 58 miles away to pick up a replacement. I was helping a friend move belongings after a divorce and the situation was not amicable. Joey and Mike were amazing!! They worked hard to find a truck closer and they literally saved the day!!

Ensure tire air pressure is correct between rentals. I found one tire to have only 11 psi. Although I inflated it to proper pressure, during my trip, the same tire experienced total failure. Fortunately, the other wheel held the load - otherwise, it could have been serious injury, if not fatality. I was able to safely pull off the road and have the wheel replaced.

I rented a trailer the weekend before and everything went great but this weekend it was not the same service. For starters when did U-Haul require a second contact to harass, that's correct I said harass because that's what they did. I rented a motorcycle trailer and the guy hooking it up started mouthing me about my truck then the lady inside requested a second contact person. Why the second contact person because you already have my number, my credit card information and my wife's number on file why another one? Then I returned the trailer when I got done which was at 130 pm the same day I rented it and your employee said it was completed. The next day the office lady started calling all three of us and saying that I hadn't returned the trailer and it was late when I returned it 4.5 hours after I rented it. Really that is not good business at all because when we are off from work all we want to do is spend time with our families not be harassed by U-Haul because they don't want to do there job. I have rented from U-Haul SEVERAL times but if U-Haul would have acted like this the first time I might not have came back. I rent trucks, trailers, and buy a lot of propane from U-Haul and I would like a little better customer service than this. Also your motorcycle trailers with the shorter wider tires pull a lot better than the trailers with the tall skinny tires they don't road walk as much. Thanks for your time.

No one called me by 6pm the day before to confirm my rental. I had to initiate the call and was able to get confirmation and also they confirmed I could pick up truck prior to store opening. I arrived the next day early (before store opened) but the 'remote' process did not work. Even though there were employees on site, I was told they couldn't help me so I was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get the remove code for the box with the key. VERY FRUSTRATING

I felt the young lady who was to finalized my storage locker closure did not take my concerns to heart. I raised two or three concerns that I felt she could have handled, but she chose not to assist! I was able to later go online and finally find the answers to my concerns and took care of them there. She absolutely did not want to do any extra work, but she did hurry back to her phone call!

The staff could not explain policies effectively. I reserved a 10x15 unit before hand and the staff said that they could not rent the last kind of unit, so they may not be able to give me the 10x15 that I reserved??? The manager did not help at all while the store clerk/cashier attempted to simultaneously check out three customer's orders. The cashier also said that workers would show us where my unit was, and help us unload. The workers did neither. The manager refused to check out my truck rental that I needed to drop off, and kept calling on the radio for someone else to do it. No one did until AFTER closing time.
