Great customer service. I will return to this location. The gentleman that assisted me with my trailer rental and return was very helpful and very nice. I am sorry I didn't get his name.
I reserved a uhaul at my nearest location. When I get there to pick up my uhaul I was sent to a different location miles away without them informing me before I got there. I get to the second location having to wait because the keys wasn't turned in. So I was sent to another location that was miles away. I just feel as if it was a bad experience and bad customer service especially when you are moving and you have things to do and also felt like my mileage wouldn't been so high if I would've gotten my uhaul where I reserved it at. What you can do to improve for your next customer make sure you call and give them a heads up on their reservation.
Trucks should be checked if previous Customer has given the truck without last baggage. For me it was a bad experience where I found 2 dirty mattresses inside the truck after reaching home.

Moving is a huge task in itself. The staff at this location made it so much easier for me to handle that task.

First and foremost, I appreciate the quality of service that I have received from U-Haul‘s national phone agents, and especially from onsite employees at your rental office (on S. Blvd, CLT, NC). (2). This location stocks the equipment that I need, in good working order. (3). U-Haul offers a fair and beneficial equipment reservation policy. (4) Your rental prices are both competitive and reasonable.
LOVED THE STAFF. They are amazing at their job. Raises ARE deserved.
Great service fast efficient
This location was very understanding of the way that the previous location treated me and was horrified of the mess the previous location had given me. They were organized and I even saw there staff cleaning the trucks right after and everyone had a mask on.
The two associates working were extremely rude and seemed unhappy to be doing their job when I walked in.
This is the second time our rental is moved to a different location, this time I scheduled my rental two days in advance instead of one and they still didn't have my truck ready. I was moved to another location without getting notified. Lost time and of course the rental was farther and ended expending more miles. Not a happy customer!
No contact pick up wasn't true. I interacted with 2 associates to figure out the rental. Waited in line although the purpose of the app was to skip the line. Hassled by customer service to provided multiple alternate contacts after already completing the required paper work. The rental truck did not have the proper rental equipment. Would not recommend online renting from uhaul.

Tough to find room for parking and know where to go when you pull in.
I signed up for the 24/7 truck share thinking it would be safest and quickest but when I got there I was surprised how long it took to fill out the additional information and get approved. My friend and I were standing in the cold for ~20 minutes before we were approved to get the keys. I just wish those steps were completed beforehand because they also cut into my rental time.

The company gives you unlimited mileage and then charges you for it...
I made a reservation made check in the day before confirming my rental when I arrive to the location day dis not have the truck. The agent send me 1 miles away to pick from another location. Why they did not state the day before to go to another location. Plus I rented a dolly and blanket and because I did not fold the blanket I would be charged $10 for the service charge. This is ridiculous. After many years keeping away from uhual I see that I made a mistake which I will never rent from uhaul again. I did regret renting the minute i show up and did not have the truck available. Customer service is far from a good.
The truck was suppose to have 1/4 tank of gas and only had 1/8 of a tank. Also I was charged an extra 50 dollars for returning the truck with the 1/8 tank of gas like it was when I left with the truck
All the folks I worked with were very helpful. Keith was on duty when I picked up my truck, and answered many questions I had. Thank you! The truck worked great!
Ask staff to be more polite
I was charged for small rocks and debris in the truck bed upon my arrival to the store. I was moving furniture that would not have generated such debris so it was in there when I picked up the truck. However, a clean truck bed was not on my list of things to check prior to leaving the lot as is the case with the mileage, gas, and exterior. Thus, I believe your app should inform customers to ensure the truck bed is clean prior to pickup.

Your customer service associates were very kind, patient, and explained the contract thoroughly. I would use this location again.
I was not told about the pick up location change until I arrived at the South Tryon location which upset me enough to never use U-Haul again. I had already been dropped off and my ride left. (I received the notification, sent by the U-Haul representative only when I was standing in front of him. It's very bad business to say the truck is at the location closest to you and where you scheduled the pick up then have to drive farther out of the way to pick up the truck.

False advertising on price for renting.
The crew seems to be reluctant to basics in avoiding Covid and very few people were wearing mask!!
When calling a customer about a location change please realize we don't know your business like you know it so please find patience to help us understand. It took me reading through everything in order to realize what was going on. Now that we understand we feel the gentlemen did as good of a job as he could but the young lady that initially called was not professional

This location seemed to be well run and busy.
Worst storage ever! My daughter passed away in North Carolina. I lived out of state. I put her belongings in storage. For close to 10 years I paid on time every month. When I summoned the courage to get her things I came back to the storage. It no longer had a ceiling. Wire mesh covered the top. I had rented a large trailer for all her things. When I went into the storage it had been ransacked. The majority of my daughters belongings were gone. I found items that did not belong to her on top of the few boxes that were hers. . I took the few boxes and went home. All the years of paying on the storage were for not. The precious items I had from her life were gone forever. Not from fire or a flood but from thieves rummaging through what was left of my daughters life! To add insult to injury, a few weeks later I get a call requesting payment on the now empty storage. The entire experience was outrageous!!!!

Excellent service at this location! The employee there handled several customers at once with skill and willingness. It was very busy for him on a Saturday, but moved quickly and efficiently.
